This role is a one-year fixed-term position to cover a leave of absence.
Overall purpose
The middle school science teacher is responsible for delivering a science curriculum to middle school students in an engaging, stimulating and effective manner, using varied instructional strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to promote inquiry-based learning, in which students work both collaboratively and independently to create new knowledge, share materials, problem-solve and discuss mathematical concepts through hands-on learning activities such as labs, fieldwork and whole class discussions.
Summary of duties

Teach four sections of science and serve as a Grade 7 advisor, (each section of science meets for 80 min, four times per every eight days and advisory meets every day for 30 min)

Prepare, coordinate and plan the curriculum with other members of the science department, and liaise with other departments where appropriate

Exhibit knowledge of current trends, pedagogy, research, and topics of importance in science education by applying it in the classroom and sharing it with teachers on a departmental and school-wide basis

About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are expanding our team of IPS Employment Advisors in our IPS service in the London Borough of Newham. You will be based in one of NHS mental health treatment teams in Plaistow and East Ham areas, working 35 hours per week. IPS services at Working Well Trust have been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adhere closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. What you’ll be doing
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.
You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.
You will spend up to 65% of your week working in the community of Newham to provide localised support to residents of the Borough.
You will also be working to contract targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

The Prospect Development Team sits within the Supporter Management Team within Philanthropy & Partnerships department but works across the whole of Engagement & Fundraising. The team’s role is to help colleagues understand their supporters at an individual level, but also to bring to the forefront the key trends and milestones in their journeys within the NSPCC. A Senior Sous Chef position is needed to assist the Executive head chef in the everyday running and organising of the kitchen and to line manage assistant chefs and kitchen porters. Menu planning, food ordering, stock control, and event delivery.

Responsibilities
- Ensure that all the Lambeth Palace kitchen team are fully trained in the food safety management systems and procedures, implemented by the Executive Head Chef.

As Senior Section PA, you will provide efficient and comprehensive secretarial, research and administration services for the National Secretary and other Section Team members, including all the tasks and duties performed by a Senior PA, including:

About the role
Cardiomyopathy UK's Director of Research and External Affairs leads the charity's research, policy and advocacy, and communications and marketing functions, with a team of four staff. The post-holder sets the strategic direction of the directorate, drives high-quality delivery, upholds the charity's values, and represents the charity externally. The Director is a member of the charity's Leadership Team, working closely with the CEO to steer the charity forward.
For the right person, this is an opportunity with real strategic scope. Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising – an area that is underdeveloped at Bowel Research UK. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of Fundraising role, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams would be a huge benefit as the role leads all fundraising income streams, but experience in individual giving is essential.
The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream.

Celebrity Campaigns Officer
Position Objective:
To advance PETA’s campaigns by securing and engaging high-profile supporters, developing creative celebrity- and creator-led initiatives, and fostering strong relationships with influential public figures

London (hybrid) (1 day per week required in King’s Cross office, and as required for meetings and events)

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Secure high-profile support for the organisation by identifying, engaging, cultivating, and maintaining strong relationships with athletes, celebrities, content creators, and other public figures

Coordinate celebrity and influencer-led projects, including undertaking research, writing letters and scripts, and organising events, photo shoots, and audio and video projects

Develop creative concepts and talent-driven activations that engage audiences and advance PETA’s campaigns

Partner with content creators to produce content aligned with PETA’s campaigns

Collaborate with campaigns, media, and social media teams to maximise opportunities involving celebrity supporters
-
Coordinate ongoing celebrity engagement, including social media interactions, supporter communications (e.g. thank-you, birthday, or congratulatory messages and merchandise gifting), and targeted outreach addressing actions that harm animals

Monitor impact of projects and activities and adjust efforts accordingly

Stay informed about current events and celebrity news

Keep thorough records of correspondence between PETA and celebrities

Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2.5 years’ professional experience in influencer relations, talent management, entertainment media, public relations, or a related communications field

Experience working directly with celebrities, creators, agents, or publicists

Thorough knowledge of the entertainment industry and entertainment media

Thorough knowledge of social media and an understanding of the type of content that will resonate with people online

Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and campaigns

You will work closely with the Executive Director, UK (EDUK) and senior leadership, including the CEO and Trustees, to contribute to the long-term sustainability of a respected and impactful international charity.
