The Head of Grants will take a leading role in shaping The Childhood Trust’s grant-making approach. Real change rarely happens in a straight line. At our Ashley Road project, you’ll work alongside people who have experienced homelessness, trauma and multiple disadvantage, offering the consistency, practical support and belief that can help them begin moving forward.
As a Project Worker, you’ll hold a caseload and build purposeful, trusting relationships with clients. You’ll complete assessments, develop person-centred support and safety plans, and help people identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable to them. This could include supporting someone to improve their health, address substance use, manage their accommodation, strengthen their daily living skills or reconnect with services and opportunities in their community.
You’ll be there when situations become challenging, responding calmly to risk, safeguarding concerns and periods of crisis while continuing to recognise each person’s strengths and potential. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you’ll advocate for clients, coordinate joined-up support and help remove the barriers that have previously prevented them from accessing the help they need.
This is a hands-on and varied role where no two days will look the same. About You

Qualifications
· Good ICT skills, with experience of using data recording and data collation systems.

· Experience of inter-agency working, preferably with Children's and Family Services/Youth Justice Services/Youth Services.

The Housing Navigator role works in partnership with SIFA’s Homeless Intervention Team and Birmingham City Council’s Housing Directorate to ensure that individuals coming to SIFA in need of housing are provided with the necessary support and guidance to engage with the Local Authority and access safe, sustainable accommodation that adequately meets their needs. A key focus of the role is to support individuals in addressing the barriers that may otherwise prevent them from accessing such accommodation.
The post holder will also ensure that individuals accessing accommodation are signposted to other relevant services that may enable them to sustain their tenancies. The post holder will be a strong communicator who can engage with partner agencies and other SIFA services to ensure those accessing the space receive the correct assistance. 1. Undertake initial assessments of clients accessing SIFA Fireside and requesting assistance with housing. Capturing information about the needs of individuals presenting to us to allow us to work to address them.
2. Provide advice and support to clients, signposting and referring them to internal and external services as appropriate.
3. Maintain an active caseload of housing clients, ensuring co-production and effective support planning is implemented where appropriate.
4. Work closely with other SIFA services to ensure clients are directed to the most appropriate support at the first time of asking.
5. Work in collaboration with Birmingham City Council’s Housing Directorate to ensure that individuals requesting support are provided with a clear and comprehensive assessment and offer of assistance.

AAUK’s primary role is to secure new national partnerships and steward our existing partners to generate vital funds for the 21 regional Air Ambulance charities and to fund our own vital sector representation, and we are looking for an experienced Corporate Fundraising Officer to join our team!
Purpose of Post
The Corporate Fundraising Officer will primarily be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing corporate partners, there will be an element of securing new corporate partners
• Creation and management of a robust pipeline to support business development opportunities and income targets for national partnerships.
• Maximise income generation opportunities from existing partners
• Secure new corporate partnerships
• Provide exceptional account management to a diverse mix of partners.
Key Responsibilities
• To work proactively to identify, research and develop new national partnerships (corporates, representative bodies, trusts and foundations) through the creation and management of a robust pipeline.
• To provide exceptional account management to a mix of national partnerships to consistently deliver mutually beneficial and multi-year partnerships aligned to AAUK’s strategic objectives and meet agreed income and engagement targets.
• To secure new corporate relationships including strategic partners, commercial and brand partnerships, grant giving, charity of the year, as well as cause-related and affinity marketing partnerships to contribute to meeting financial targets.
• To develop effective, relevant, and innovative funding proposals and pitches for potential and current partners aligned to Air Ambulances UK’s strategy.
• To work collaboratively with beneficiary organisations to deliver the full potential of national partnerships, promote awareness of our national fundraising programme to support business development and to deliver financial and social impact reporting of partnerships.
• To effectively project manage and work collaboratively with local air ambulance charity stakeholders to coordinate and maximise opportunities.
• All relevant administration tasks including thanking and recognition, monthly activity reporting, management of our general inbox and updating and maintaining AAUK’s CRM system (Donorfy).
