Salary: Up to £52,784 pro rata per annum plus excellent benefits.
Contract: Permanent (Three month probationary period/job share review period)
Hours per week: 22.5 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday). You will be required to work in-person a minimum of one day per week, in line with our hybrid working model.

About the role:
We are looking for a media manager to work as a job share partner in our small, start-up style team on our public campaigning initiative. This role provides an exciting opportunity to jointly lead on our earned media approach, working to secure high-quality coverage of our campaigns and the Health Equals coalition across print, online and broadcast media to influence public opinion and political change.
In this role, you’ll use your skills to deliver our PR strategy for our upcoming public-facing campaigns, working alongside your job share partner to manage our PR agency partner, leading our press office function, building trusted relationships with journalists and influencers, and coordinating Health Equals member spokespeople and lived experience storytellers. You will work proactively with data analysts and policy experts to spot and develop media opportunities based on new and available data relating to health inequalities. Your work day-to-day will vary from strategic to delivery focused, such as writing press releases and pitching to national and regional media, fielding enquiries and responding proactively to developments in the external environment. About the programme
The Faith & Community Development Team supports and strengthens community and faith-based responses to homelessness across England. This role will help shape Housing Justice’s national programme of quality improvement, training and best practice for community and faith-based homelessness services, using insight from our flagship Quality assurance framework, Impact Portal, existing research, and partnership engagement to continue the development of practice standards, resources and learning opportunities for the network.
About you
We are seeking an experienced and organised programme lead with a strong understanding of homelessness, housing policy and practice, and quality improvement. You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting and facilitating, drafting reports, quality mark standards and guidance. You will also be comfortable managing multiple priorities, managing a small team, working with data and monitoring information, and building positive relationships with local authorities, funders, sector partners and organisations in the Housing Justice network.
About the role
The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of Housing Justice’s national quality improvement, training and best practice work for community and faith-based homelessness services across England. You will oversee the continued development of the Quality Mark accreditation scheme for emergency accommodation providers, lead the creation of a new Quality Framework for day services, develop an Emergency Accommodation Toolkit, and deliver training, learning events and communities of practice.

You will have excellent digital and IT skills, including Microsoft 365, Excel and Word, with the ability to adopt and apply AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot or equivalent) to improve ways of working.

About the role
The successful candidate will provide essential operational, administrative and coordination support to the Faith and Community Development Team, working closely with the London Partnerships and Development Lead. You will need

The position will support victims to navigate the criminal justice system (CJS), civil and family courts, and wider statutory and voluntary services. About the Role
This role sits within our Information and Advice team and is key to the smooth running of our Information and Advice service. This role will provide casework support relating to Adult Social Care, Housing, and Welfare Benefits to Disabled Merton Residents.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. To manage a varied caseload, providing accessible and quality information, advice, guidance and representation to Disabled people in Merton.
2. To support Disabled people in Merton with Adult Social Care including but not limited to Care Act assessments, reviews and reassessments, including Financial Assessments.
3. To support Disabled people in Merton with Housing including getting on to and improving positions on the housing register, aids and adaptions and Disabled Facilities Grants.
4. To support Disabled people in Merton with Welfare Benefits including but not limited to applications, assessments, appeals and tribunal representation.
5. To support quality assurance processes to maintain the Advice Quality Standard including ensuring case notes are updated in-line with frameworks, carrying out peer file review and taking part in supervision sessions.
6. Where appropriate, refer Disabled people to other services in line with our policies, including other Merton CIL services.
7. To research and remain informed of new legislation or policy changes that impact casework.
8. To collaborate with the Policy and Campaigns Team to push for systems change.
9. To understand safeguarding procedures and raise concerns with support from the safeguarding lead.
10. To work within the Social Model of Disability and ensure that it is understood by our members, service users, staff, local authority, and partners.
