Hope into Action is an inspiring story.  It starts with a couple, Ed and Rach Walker, who decide to use £30,000 of their own money to buy a house for people who were homeless in Peterborough in 2010.  And from this seed, an organisation has grown which 16 years later has 134 houses and has seen over £34 million invested in homes for people who were homeless.

Hope into Action is a story of how faith in God has been put into action and led to resources being shared, new relationships being formed and people’s lives being transformed.

Last year we housed over 500 people who had been homeless. Each of those individuals has a story to share of how Hope into Action has helped them. This is the story we want to share.

The Communications & Engagement Lead is responsible for implementing Hope into Action’s communications and engagement strategy. Working closely with the CEO, they will be responsible for telling the Hope into Action story and driving increased engagement with our vision for every church in the UK to be engaged in ending homelessness.

At least 50% of the role is harvesting stories from around our Network to create engaging content which expresses our vision and mission. We want someone who can be both responsive and strategic. To hear a story from our frontline workers and be able to share it on our website and social media later that day – whilst also working towards the longer term goal of more people in the UK being aware of our work and its impact.

FTWW is looking for a Communications Coordinator! The successful candidate will develop and grow the organisation’s online platform, including sharing information, resources and signposting within FTWW’s pan-Wales virtual peer support community and beyond.

The role is full-time (0.8 FTE considered for the right candidate), home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage. We work flexibly, but core working hours are between 10am-4pm, and the successful candidate will be expected to work some evening and weekends, as required.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in promoting a focus group to our members one day and meeting with a journalist the next. We currently have over 100 registered volunteers and over 2000 members of our online community, and you will work closely with our Volunteer & Community Coordinator to ensure that our members are at the heart of what we do.

The ability to speak Welsh, or a willingness to learn, is desirable.

Role description

The applicant will be expected to take on a variety of responsibilities associated with supporting our national membership of PSHE education teachers and other professionals. Terms of Reference

The post is offered on a full time basis, on a permanent contract with a six-month probationary period. The salary will be £28,500.

At the PSHE Association, we believe in a healthy work-life balance. That is why we offer a nine-day fortnight working pattern, giving our team every other Friday off (in other words a long weekend twice a month). • Support initial outreach to prospective partners, including email approaches, LinkedIn engagement, and follow-up communications.
• Support the planning and delivery of targeted online marketing activity to increase organisational visibility among corporate audiences.
• Develop engaging content for outreach - such as partner briefs, email templates, and introductory decks.
• Collaborate with the Engagement and Communications teams to ensure all external messaging reflects Sands’ brand and partnership priorities.

3. Database, Reporting & Administration

• Maintain accurate, GDPR compliant records on Sands’ CRM, ensuring all research, outreach and cultivation activity are fully logged and auditable.
• Produce regular reports and dashboards to support team activity planning and income forecasting.
• Track deadlines for proposals, reporting, stewardship requirements, and internal consultations.
• Support due diligence checks for all new prospects and record documentation in line with Sands’ ethical and data protection policies.

4. Partnership Materials, Proposals & Case Studies

• Support the creation of high-quality partnership assets, including pitch decks, proposals, stewardship packs, and impact summaries.
• Collate relevant organisational information and stories to support the development of compelling case studies.
• Work with internal colleagues to gather content on Sands’ programmes, events, research, and family stories to support tailored partnership pitches.
• Assist with developing template materials for more efficient proposal creation.
  
  

5. Internal Collaboration & Organisational Support

• Work closely with the Commercial Business Development Lead to coordinate new business activity and support cultivation of prospective corporate relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Engagement, Communications, Events, Fundraising and Services to ensure partnership opportunities are strategically aligned.
• Support the planning and delivery of cultivation events, webinars, and online briefings for corporate audiences.

About the role

Coram’s Fundraising Team raises over £4 million of voluntary income across the Coram Group. The Individual Giving team has responsibility for supporter care, customer service and administration of individual supporters on our database. Coram has been growing its investment in Individual Giving for a number of years, has a loyal and very generous supporter base and an ambition to see this grow and develop further by embracing new ideas. The team has an exciting future and this role will play a key part in its success.

This is a senior, high-impact post. You will lead on business development and income generation — writing bids, building partnerships and developing strategy — working closely with the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team.

A key part of the role is dedicated to securing funding for our Lost Woods Project, a multi-agency community development initiative running until November 2027.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and driving an organisational Business Development Strategy

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Proven track record of securing grant funding and winning contracts, including large bids of £150,000+
• Experience of collaborative bidding and partnership development
• Management experience in a similar organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of CRM systems
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Knowledge of the national and local funding landscape and public sector commissioning
• Educated to degree level or equivalent

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the voluntary and community sector in Sussex
• Experience of Social Value and Theory of Change impact evaluation
• Formal fundraising or project management qualification
• Knowledge of community asset development, rural housing or nature-based solutions
