Purpose of the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and skilled individual to lead the Mind in Bexley Carers Service. The Carers Service supports those looking after, or affected by, an adult relative or friend’s mental health, alcohol, or substance use challenges.
The postholder will provide both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the effective delivery of the service in collaboration with key partners, including the London Borough of Bexley, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, and other relevant stakeholders.
The role is responsible for ensuring that carers receive high-quality, person-centred support, enabling them to lead fulfilling and valued lives, actively participate in their communities, and develop their abilities to their fullest potential.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Service Delivery and Development
· Develop, coordinate, and maintain a flexible, responsive, and high-quality service to support carers.
· Carry a client caseload.
· Provide individuals with clear information and guidance, enabling them to explore innovative and creative approaches to meeting their needs and achieving desired outcomes.
· Develop and deliver groups, workshops and courses for carers.

Leadership and Management
· Provide effective leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance management to staff, volunteers, and students on placement.
· Promote a positive, collaborative working culture that supports high performance and continuous improvement.
· Assist in the organisation and facilitation of team meetings, promoting open communication and a cohesive team environment.
Partnership Working and Collaboration
· Work collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies, and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and the achievement of agreed objectives.
· Build and maintain strong working relationships with local and regional carers’ forums, ensuring innovative approaches to supporting families and carers are explored and implemented.
· Contribute to inter-agency working by maintaining high standards of communication and participating in relevant forums.
Advocacy and Engagement
· Advocate for the needs of carers, ensuring their voices are reflected in care planning processes across mental health and social care services.
· Promote the importance of carer involvement, in line with The Carers Trust “Triangle of Care” best practice guidance.
Quality and Performance Management
· Take overall accountability for the quality, performance, and continuous improvement of the service.
· Ensure monitoring data and information is collected and submitted on time.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.
· Monitor and evaluate service outcomes to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for development.

The Role:
We are recruiting for one IPS Employment Specialist role within our Islington IPS Service. This position will be based within the North London NHS Foundation Trust mental health services in the borough of Islington.
As an IPS Employment Specialist, you’ll play an important role in supporting people with lived mental health experience on their recovery journey by supporting them back into paid employment. This is an opportunity to offer ongoing support, to motivate and provide people with hope, while developing the tools and skills required to recover – ultimately transforming their lives.

Answering quantitative questions to support product development
Tackling the product questions that need analytical work. For example, modelling how to personalise the order of opportunities shown to students, or evaluating the effectiveness of our assessment practice test questions.
Surfacing opportunities for product improvement
Going beyond answering questions to proactively flagging what the data suggests we should do differently - finding friction points, underused features, or patterns in how students and teachers use our tools.
Bringing platform data to life for partners
As someone who understands deeply how students use Unifrog, you'll help internal teams and external partners - schools, universities, and employers - make better decisions using platform usage data.
Contributing to the Data team’s shared workload
Like everyone on the team, you’ll pick up your share of ad hoc requests and cross-company projects - supporting analysis for school-facing teams, partnerships, marketing, and others as needed.

How the Unifrog platform works behind the scenes, particularly how user behaviour shows up in our data;
Our analytics stack - Amazon Athena for large-scale analytics and SQL Server for relational data - and how to work across both efficiently;

Skills and characteristics
We are looking for someone who is:
Technically fluent with data
You're extremely comfortable querying, aggregating, and analysing data using SQL, with experience in other tools such as Python, R, advanced Excel, or similar. You can wrangle messy data into something useful, and you have good instincts for when a result looks wrong.
Statistically minded
You have a solid understanding of statistical theory and some experience applying it, for example, defining metrics or evaluating an experiment. We see this hire as an opportunity to deepen our team's statistical capabilities.
Curious about user behaviour
You're naturally interested in how people use things and why, the kind of person who finds it satisfying to work out what a pattern or data point actually means. When the data suggests something could be better, you surface it without being asked.
A clear and persuasive communicator
You can turn analysis into a compelling narrative and explain technical findings to non-technical audiences without losing the nuance. You're also confident enough to push back when a brief is asking the wrong question.

We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of the role will be project managing fundraising activities which will require a proactive approach and an eagerness to learn, as well as some experience of leading a project yourself in the past.

Event management and delivery

· Carry out stewardship tasks using tools like Mailchimp, GivePanel, JustGiving & Funraisin, for which training will be provided.
· Use feedback & data to spot opportunities for the constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR.
Marketing and recruitment
· Work with the team to create effective marketing plans and lead on their implementation to meet acquisition targets.
· Create recruitment assets which are tailored by a good understanding of our audiences.
· With the support of the team, track and analyse marketing performance to proactively suggest improvements.
Administration and database
· Oversee stock management via our fulfilment house and ensure we have high quality fundraising merchandise.
· Carry out participant data processing, income processing and budget management tasks as required – including coding, database administration, supplier payments, and income & expenditure tracking.
· Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations, and with PCR’s policies.
Strategy and development

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional with strong charity-sector expertise to lead all aspects of finance, reporting and financial planning, while providing trusted advice to the CEO, Treasurer, Finance Committee and Board of Trustees. You will lead a small, dedicated finance team and drive continuous improvement across financial systems, processes and controls to support the organisation's ambitious goals.

In this role, you will take a leading position within a dynamic mental health crisis and early‑intervention service, managing a diverse caseload while providing skilled de‑escalation, robust risk assessment and coordinated multi‑agency support. You will guide and empower service users to engage with community services, while also offering day‑to‑day leadership to Recovery Workers, Peer Support Workers and volunteers, ensuring consistent, high‑quality practice. Acting as shift lead when required, you will make informed, real‑time decisions to maintain safe and effective service delivery. A key part of the role involves supporting student placements, contributing to learning plans and offering reflective supervision. You will work closely with the Service Manager and Area Manager to monitor performance, contribute to audits and quality reviews, and drive ongoing service development. You will also play an active role in recruitment, onboarding and volunteer integration, and represent the service in partnership forums, strengthening pathways with local crisis teams and community organisations to ensure continuity of care and smooth transitions for service users.
