As a member of our Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership for learning and development across the hospice, ensuring our staff and volunteers have the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver outstanding palliative and end-of-life care.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (some flexible working considered)

What is the role?

Reporting to the Director of People, you will lead the development and delivery of our Learning and Development strategy, ensuring it aligns with our organisational priorities and values.

You will:

· Lead learning, education and organisational development initiatives across the hospice.

· Develop leadership and management capability at all levels.

· Oversee mandatory training, compliance and workforce development programmes.

· Work closely with clinical leaders to support education, competency development and best practice.

· Drive a culture of continuous learning, engagement and improvement.

· Build strong partnerships with external organisations, including healthcare and education providers.

· Lead and develop a passionate and dedicated Learning and Development team.

About you

You will be a strategic and collaborative leader with significant experience of leading learning, development, education or organisational development functions.

You will bring:

· Experience of developing and implementing organisation-wide learning strategies.

· A strong understanding of leadership development, organisational development and workforce capability.

· Experience of leading teams and managing budgets.

· Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

· A passion for developing people and creating inclusive, high-performing cultures.

Experience within healthcare, hospice, charity or public sector settings would be advantageous.

As our Development Lead for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, you will work at the heart of the CEO Office, implementing strategy and facilitating leaders to drive meaningful, organisation-wide action. We’re looking for an experienced and credible EDI professional who thrives in a complex environment and is confident working through influence. You will bring a strong track record of delivering EDI initiatives at scale, using data to drive decisions and building trusted relationships at all levels. You will have a deep understanding of the external EDI landscape, strong communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to turn vision into practical action. Experience in the charity, youth or public sector will help you make an immediate impact, alongside a genuine commitment to creating inclusive environments where everyone can belong and succeed.

Community Officer
Shrewsbury, Shropshire
£9,329 per annum (FTE £31,098 per annum) + 7% pension contribution

21 hours a week (0.6 FTE) worked flexibly, with Mondays based in our Shrewsbury office. Some evening and weekend work is likely - paid overtime is not available, but time off in lieu of hours worked will be given.

We are currently recruiting a Programmes Facilitator to work within HMP Channings Wood. Our ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs. 

We are seeking a committed and dynamic person to support the delivery of substance misuse interventions within a custodial setting. In this role, you will work directly with individuals in prison who are affected by drug and alcohol use, helping them to understand their behaviours, build motivation for change, and engage in structured recovery‑focused programmes.

You will facilitate group sessions, complete assessments, and provide 1:1 support that promotes harm reduction, stabilisation, and long‑term recovery. Working closely with prison staff, healthcare teams, and partner agencies, you will ensure that every individual receives safe, effective, and person‑centred support.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about empowering people to overcome substance misuse challenges, able to build rapport in a fast‑paced environment, and motivated to help improve outcomes and reduce re‑offending.

Where: HMP Channings Wood 

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. 

Responsibilities

About the role:

• You will work with service users to initiate recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependence, to enable service users in the prison to build their own recovery capital and to support them to move into long term sustained recovery and social (re)integration.
• To develop and deliver group psychosocial interventions. This involves facilitating Foundations of Rehabilitation programme, in addition to pod working tailored to the needs of the caseload.
• To be creative and innovative so that the post best meets the needs of the service user, promoting access into treatment, and encouraging engagement with underrepresented communities.
• Assess suitability for groups related to risk and special needs, working closely with prison partners to schedule attendance.

About you:

• Sensitivity in working with complex and diverse needs.
• Demonstrate a strong recovery focus and have knowledge of a range of psychosocial interventions.
• Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users.
• Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards.
• Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others.

The Family Support Worker is an exciting position within a growing, dynamic team where you can make a real difference to the lives of unpaid carers in Lambeth.

Following a highly successful launch to address a gap in support for young and adult carers looking after someone with substance misuse issues, this vital project has now been running for more than two years. As we enter the next established phase of the service, we are looking for a new Family Support Worker to bring their expertise, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas to help us continue expanding our impact.

The Role

Working across both our Young Carers and Adult Carers Services, you will provide holistic support to families affected by substance misuse through whole-family assessments and reviews. You will ensure that adult and young carers, as well as their wider families, have access to a range of emotional and practical support tailored to their specific needs.

What we are looking for:

• Sector Knowledge: An understanding of working within the substance misuse field and the associated health and social issues.

• Experience: Preferably, experience working with both adults and children/young people.

• Qualifications: A professional qualification in health & social care, youth or community work, and/or direct experience delivering family-focused interventions.

This is a position offering someone with the appropriate values and experience, the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the Finance Team, coordinating the Finance Department, ensuring that financial & payroll information is processed in accordance with HMN procedures & timescales.

As a Financial Controller you will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to drive quality financial processes through the core of the organisation, leading on the management of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Production of monthly management accounts to Senior Management budget holders
• Line Management of the Finance Administrators & Finance Officer
• Support with quarterly reconciliations & reports for Board
• Assisting with setting yearly budgets & projections in liaison with Senior Leadership Team & Finance Manager
• Assist budget holders in appropriate activity analysis

We are now looking for a Legacy Marketing Executive to join us in a permanent, home-based role. You will work across multiple channels and projects, helping to grow awareness and inspire more people to consider leaving a gift in their Will.
You will be part of a friendly, collaborative team within a wider Income and Engagement directorate, all united by a shared mission to help change the future of dementia. 
What you’ll do
You’ll lead on planning and delivering legacy marketing campaigns from start to finish. You’ll make sure campaigns are clear, well targeted, and reach the right people.
You’ll work with teams across the organisation and with external partners to keep everything running smoothly.
You’ll also review results and use what you learn to improve future campaigns.

- Deliver campaigns across different channels, including creative development, targeting, and planning
- Work with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams
- Track campaign performance and review results against KPIs like ROI and response rates
- Use data and insight to improve future campaigns
- Contribute ideas to legacy strategy and planning

About The Role

Delivering advice and advocacy in a variety of community settings, you will provide casework on debt, along with housing and welfare benefits, ensuring that quality assurance and standards are met in all areas and that you keep your own knowledge up to date. Identifying systemic issues by gathering evidence and developing insight will be crucial to bringing about the change we need, as well as working with a variety of stakeholders, building relationships locally and working collaboratively to achieve shared outcomes.

About You

• You have demonstrable experience of providing debt advice and related advice on housing and welfare, in line with current legislation 
• Experience supporting people with multiple disadvantages.
• You are able to manage your caseload and meet deadlines
• You have effective communication skills and technical skills, using IT programmes to communicate and record client data. 
• Everything you do will be in line with safeguarding procedures, our anti – racism goals and Equality and Diversity policies and practices.

Working alongside other Farm staff, the Programme Manager will be responsible for the oversight of our community activities and events and coordinating our volunteering offer. About The Role
At Alzheimer’s Society, no one should face dementia alone. We support people through some of the hardest moments in their lives.
As a Content Executive, you will help turn complex information into clear, practical content that people can trust. You will work in our Strategic Content Team and help shape content for people affected by dementia and to engage wider audiences to support Alzheimer’s Society’s cause.
This is a role for someone who cares about words and their impact. You will help make sure our content is accurate, easy to understand, inclusive and useful. People may read it on a phone at night, in a clinic, or with family.
People come into content roles from many paths. You might come from charity, agency, journalism, in-house communications, or another route. What matters most is your ability to create clear, helpful content.
We support different ways of working and value curiosity, learning and teamwork. We want people to do their best work in a way that works for them.
What you will do
You will create content that helps people affected by dementia by turning complex information into clear and practical guidance.
This could include editing dementia support resources, writing copy for a campaign, improving webpages, or scripting short videos and audio.
You will help ensure content meets high editorial standards, including Patient Information Forum (PIF) standards for health information. You will use feedback and insight to improve content, and you will also support work across fundraising, campaigns and wider projects.
 In your day-to-day work, you will:

- write and edit clear, accessible content across web, print, digital and scripts
- support dementia health information so it meets PIF standards
- collaborate with colleagues to meet user and organisational needs
- use feedback and insight to improve content
- support planning, quality checks and version control
- work with designers, editors and suppliers
- apply content design, SEO and accessibility principles
- support continuous improvement in how we create content

About you

You understand how the right words can support someone through difficult moments or encourage more people to support our cause. You want to use and develop your expertise to make information easier to understand, engage with and act on.

Are you interested in using your administration skills to support teams that work with children and young people?

The Mental Health Support Teams  ( MHSTs) in the West locality team in North Cumbria are recruiting a Service administrator  for 30 hours a week due to the growth of the teams.

The teams work in schools offering low intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to children and young people as part of an NHS contract.  

You will be working with the teams that cover Egremont, Whitehaven, Workington, Maryport, Cockermouth and Keswick. It is expected that you will be able to work from the service bases in Workington and Cockermouth on a weekly basis and the role will involve  attending regular meetings in Carlisle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating delivery of all administrative/ data functions across the service and ensuring that consistent processes are in place for finance, data and health & safety in line with contractual and Barnardo's requirements. 

You will implement new, and revise existing, systems for financial and data management across the service as required and prepare financial information dealing with, and checking income and expenditure, including payroll. 

Reporting to the Children's Services Manager you will support with designated work in terms of planning, development, projects, and business support tasks across the localities.

The post holder will be required to compile reports as required for presentation both internally and externally and support and work with the Regional Finance Team, Health and Safety Officer to ensure that all compliance requirements and targets are met/exceeded.  There will also be Line management responsibilities as designated and you will work with, and provide support to, the Children's Services Manager to ensure all compliance requirements are met

It is essential that you have:

• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills at a level that enables you to perform difficult calculations and produce reports
• Substantial experience of using IT packages particularly MS applications
• Experience of Health and Safety and premises/facilities management
• Experience of financial administration 

You must be:

• Able to work independently without direct supervision, demonstrating initiative when required.
• Able to delegate work effectively if applicable.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality and work within data protection guidelines.
• Able to work effectively as a member of a team.

Experience of formally line managing staff is advantageous, as this role will include directly line managing staff.
