This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to provide stroke recovery support following a stroke.

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.

We work with women to initially ensure their safety from violence or coercion, then to address the underlying issues that lead them to sell sex. The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) is a membership organisation and the voice of the profession, with over 4,750 members in the UK and overseas. Our role is to champion the specialty, set standards of training and practice, and influence change to make a difference to the lives of patients with eye conditions.
Job Purpose
The Director of Examinations plays an important role within the College, providing strategic leadership, oversight and delivery of our exam function in the UK and overseas, at the same time as ensuring alignment with best practice and GMC standards.
This role has responsibility for a budget of £2M+ and for the delivery of exams to around 3,000 candidates each year. The postholder is also responsible for leading a team of six members of staff and forms a key part of our Senior Leadership Team, taking corporate responsibility for the overall direction and operational management of the College.
Main responsibilities
1. To oversee the strategic direction and delivery of exams
Provide strategic leadership for the College's examination function, ensuring all examinations are designed, delivered and continuously improved in accordance with the College's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, obligations and recognised best practice

The Head of Fundraising and Communications plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving Bowel Research UK's fundraising strategies and audience engagement initiatives.
This position is responsible for embedding and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing the charity’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.
You will have the autonomy and scope to drive elements of your work and take ownership of your own objectives. You will be required to collaborate on decisions to shape and deliver initiatives, programmes and processes as required for each area of income delivery.
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising – an area that is underdeveloped at Bowel Research UK. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of Fundraising role, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams would be a huge benefit as the role leads all fundraising income streams, but experience in individual giving is essential.
The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream.

About the role
As Director of Charity, you will lead the next phase of the charity's development. What you will be doing
You will be responsible for developing and embedding strategies and programmes that help people across England to discover and connect with their heritage, increasing engagement with Historic England (HE) and the historic environment through our nationally important Archive collections and engagement programmes, which include learning (Heritage Schools), community engagement, inclusion grants and participation programmes (e.g. Blue Plaques). As a member of the Corporate Leadership Team, you will work together with senior colleagues across Historic England to embed our strategic priorities for people and places, including delivery on government priorities and income generation opportunities.
You will share your expertise and passion, ensuring the organisation’s knowledge, resources and voice are leveraged beyond Historic England, and we are actively working together with more people and partners to the benefit of people and places. About the role
As a Psychological Therapist (Crisis Line), you will respond to individuals in high-risk and emotionally intense situations, providing calm, focused and compassionate support. You will use evidence-based approaches such as safety planning, grounding techniques, active listening and structured risk assessment to support people through crisis.
About you
You will have a Level 4 Diploma, or equivalent, in counselling or psychotherapy and be a registered member of a relevant professional body such as BACP, BABCP or UKCP. You will bring experience of supporting people in emotional distress or crisis, alongside strong skills in risk assessment, safeguarding and brief psychological intervention.
We are particularly interested in people who can remain calm and effective under pressure, communicate with compassion and clarity, and work confidently within structured protocols in a remote, shift-based service. Experience in crisis helplines, acute mental health settings, emergency services, suicide prevention or digital service delivery would be an advantage.
Working arrangements
This is a fully remote, UK-based role delivered through a rotational shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and nights. The role involves regular exposure to high-risk and emotionally intense situations, with supervision, in-shift support and reflective practice available to support safe and effective working.
