The Position
We’re looking for a highly motivated senior programmes officer with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to run the Schools’ Outreach programmes. These include, but are not limited to, Work Experience Programmes, Corporate Mentoring Programmes and Corporate Insight Days
Annual Rate: £35,000 to £38,000 (pro rata)
Location: The ideal candidate will be based in London. This role is 3 to 4 days per week working from home and 1 to 2 days in the office. Additionally, there will be travel to schools, companies and event venues across England.

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Programmes Officer (SPO) who is passionate about supporting online and offline learning and programmes. Your primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day administrative support for our online and offline schools programmes, collaborating closely with schools and corporate mentors to guarantee a holistic student experience.

About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
1. Demonstrable programme administration experience
2. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, enabling independent drafting of documents, virtual learning content, and correspondence tailored to diverse audiences.
3. Proficient in numerical analysis, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy when handling complex data, employing a data-driven decision-making approach.
4. Experience in the use of student records systems and virtual learning environments, including proficiency in managing online assessments.
5. Proven experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders across two separate areas.
6. Strong time management and organisational skills, adept at meeting tight deadlines and managing competing priorities, particularly across Schools, with a willingness to seek and utilise support as needed.
7. Customer service experience, coupled with the ability to address complaints and service issues efficiently and professionally.
8. Experience of collaborating effectively within a diverse team, demonstrating a proactive approach, and possessing the capability to work autonomously, along with a dedication to fostering equality and diversity in the workplace.

Advice Service Delivery Manager
The newly created Advice & Support Team plays a key role in delivering Battersea’s increased strategic focus on early intervention in the pet ownership journey. By offering well-timed expert and empathetic support and advice before owners reach crisis point, the team aims to prevent avoidable animal welfare issues and reduce the number of pets relinquished for preventable reasons.
A key service in this area is the Behaviour Advice Line (BAL), currently delivered by our Animal Behaviour Team. This new role exists to lead the development of a clear, evidence-based service model and plan to transform the line into a cost-effective multi-channel service that delivers measurably improved impact for owners and their pets.
The role is for one year with the outcome to develop a detailed service model and associated change plan and budget, that is evidence based, co-designed and in alignment with the future Advice and Support strategy and Operations structure. Iterative changes should be identified for service improvement within the year and a business case for investment produced by the end of July 2026.

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Project Manager with experience working in or with schools to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of our careers-related activities. Launched in 2024, Making Waves is our flagship one-to-one music-making programme designed for people at risk of offending or those leaving prison. Over 10 sessions, participants work with a professional producer in our private studio to create, record, and release their own music, building confidence and gaining new skills along the way. Alongside music-making, participants can also gain a King’s Trust qualification in Personal Development and Employability Skills, receive tailored mentoring from Trailblazers to support them into employment, and join our alumni programme for live performance opportunities, industry masterclasses, and ongoing support.
The Programme Coordinator is a new role within the Finding Rhythms team. Based on the success of the Making Waves programme over the last year, we now are in the process of expansion - with plans to increase delivery and engage more participants. The Programme Coordinator fulfills an essential role to support successful expansion of the programme whilst maintaining maximum impact for participants and partners.
To be successful in the role, you will be a highly motivated and proactive individual. You will support the day-to-day running of the programme on site, providing administrative support, and being the first point of contact for programme participants. REFERRALS AND ON-BOARDING
● Processing a high volume of referrals of participants onto the programme, in a time-effective manner, ensuring all essential information is gathered and recorded
● Communicating regularly with participants and referral partners on the status and timeframe of their place on the programme
● Responding to general enquiries about the programme and distributing relevant information
● Encouraging participants to attend including identifying issues and providing solutions
● Briefing participants in the lead up and throughout the duration of the programme

PROGRAMME COORDINATION
● Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and processed
● Updating the musician and Programme Manager with key information in the lead up to sessions and on the day
● Liaising with partnering organisation Trailblazers Mentors and participants to organise mentoring sessions on-site and online
● Ensuring the studio is clean, tidy, and correctly equipped
● Ensuring studio ‘rules’ are adhered to and sessions run smoothly, flagging any issues to the Programme Manager
● Supporting the Programme Manager with the alumni programme including the organisation of live performance events and industry masterclasses
OUTREACH AND COMMUNICATIONS
● Organising and attending outreach and taster sessions across multiple locations (some of which will take place in prisons)

- Significant experience of working at board level

- Strong organisational skills
- Adaptability and flexibility to deliver training in various formats
- Ability to communicate complex clinical governance concepts to a non-technical audience
