Tall Ships Youth Trust is looking for an exceptional Director of Youth Development & Outdoor Learning to lead and grow our youth development offer at a pivotal moment in our strategy. You will shape the journey young people take with us, from their first voyage to longer-term development, training, employment and progression opportunities.

You’ll identify and create networks across the UK with education and youth development clients, outdoor learning providers and national organisations that offer leadership and development opportunities for young people. Ensuring that our three-voyage programme and space in between is employed as their preferred option for the personal and social development of the young people that they are responsible for.
This includes trading income generation for groups and individuals, while also supporting fundraising by developing business in geographies and communities that align with geographically restricted funding secured by the Trust.

Role Summary

About the Role
The resettlement team in South Yorkshire provides advice and support for resettled refugees to help them access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies running similar services across the UK, the Refugee Council resettlement team promotes both the integration and independence of this group.
Alongside the resettlement team, the psychological therapy service team offers therapy to refugees presenting with mental health difficulties across both historical and future resettlement programmes. The service currently offers holistic psychological assessments and therapy to respond to clients referred to the service from Refugee Council and other local services working with resettled refugees.
The Children and Families Wellbeing Project was established in 2019 to respond to the needs of refugee children/young people and their families who are experiencing mental health difficulties within a systemic approach. This specialist service is managed by the Refugee Council and led by the Strategic Migration partnership and is provided across Yorkshire and Humberside through a partnership of the Refugee Council and Solace.
As a Family therapist/Practitioner, the post holder will be working autonomously within the context of a multi-disciplinary team approach to deliver psychosocial therapeutic work with refugee children/young people and their families in South Yorkshire.
The postholder will work closely with the Sheffield Therapeutic Service for Resettled Refugees and work with children and families at home, as well as in community and educational settings.

Job Description & Person Specification
Purpose of This Role:
This key support role will work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure NASP’s data and key systems, including our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365), dashboards and databases, are effective, accurate, and useful. This includes improving data capture, enabling consistent reporting, and ensuring that quality data can be used to support organisational priorities.
The role will support colleagues to use systems confidently and understand data requirements, providing analytic solutions that meet the needs of the organisation, and identifying where practices and systems can be improved.
The role will sit within the wider Operations team who oversee the core business and operational functions of NASP, including Finance, HR, Governance, Project Support, Administration, and Logistics. As a member of this team, the role will provide general administrative support to NASP programmes, liaising with our CRM support provider (Chorus) and IT provider (Logicata) to act as an essential bridge between internal colleagues and these external technical experts.
As NASP continues to develop its membership and training offers, the Data and Systems Officer will support the growth of this work, ensuring that systems and data flows are aligned, and leading on the technical management of data within these systems. The role will also support teams with reporting and evaluation, making effective use of NASP’s data.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual with excellent data management, administrative, and technical skills (particularly working with CRMs) to support across the range of NASP’s programmes and projects, as well as development of new systems and processes.
Person Specification:
Essential
Knowledge of the VCFSE sector and/or Social Prescribing
Good working knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (including technical skills)
Experience of administrating/managing membership systems or other databases
Knowledge of GDPR and other Data compliance requirements

Responsibilities:
CRM and Systems Management
Ensure colleagues across the organisation are effectively using the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics); as well as other key data systems, supporting with staff training and guidance, providing advice and support where needed to ensure the team feels positive and confident using them in their day-to-day work.
Undertake regular reviews & audits of data stored on the CRM to amend errors (e.g. duplicate records), and identify gaps or areas of concern, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Work closely with our CRM support provider (Chorus) to manage any support requests and technical errors, undertaking any updates, fixes and developments to the system where required.
Proactively identify any CRM and wider system processes that can be improved or developed, working with NASP colleagues to ensure the CRM is being effectively integrated into their work.
Working with the Strategic Project Manager, undertake regular contract reviews with our CRM provider to ensure value for money and quality of service.
Data Management
Oversee NASP’s Data inbox, responding to enquiries and escalating concerns or risks.
Working with Director of Operations to proactively support NASP to meet data compliance; to identify any data risks and to mitigate these, including gaps in data capture or poor system use.
Present data through reports and produce insights to support NASP’s evidence, evaluation and reporting needs (e.g. for grant funders, programme evaluation or trustee board reports).
Work with NASP colleagues to improve how data is used in their work, building good data habits across the organisation.
Identify and address common issues in how documents and information are managed across the organisation, ensuring standards are maintained consistently across NASP.
Systems Integration
Work with colleagues to support the ongoing development of NASP’s Membership & Training offers, by ensuring the data and systems that support this work are effective.
Support colleagues with effective data use to track the engagement, activity and growth of key networks and communities.
Provide administrative support to establish and develop any new systems, working with colleagues and external providers as needed, ensuring that data flows between existing systems are aligned.
Work closely with the Communications team to ensure the NASP website supports the capture and flow of data effectively.
Liaise with our IT provider (Logicata) for anything relating to the Microsoft suite, including technical support.
General
Take a proactive approach to support and lead administrative reviews / efficiencies across the organisation, ensuring consistency of approach.

The Learning & Development Officer is responsible for working closely with the Director of People & Organisational Development in supporting the design, delivery and development of the education and training across the hospice group.
They will coordinate and organise all in house and external training programmes, maintain accurate records, monitor compliance and support a learning culture across St Giles. They will provide full support for preparing documentation, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and deadlines are met.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with delivering learning sessions, handling and dealing with all requests that come through the L&D department, supporting with data, audit, evaluations and coordinating all invoices.
They will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth, efficient delivery of St Giles learning and development initiatives to ensure we remain compliant through regulatory standards and frameworks.
The role will also maintain effective working relationships across the hospice to support efficient service delivery.

About the role

Overview
Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) is a pioneering charity aiming to improve the health, wellbeing, educational attainment and employability skills of the local community.
CACT are seeking two enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced individuals to deliver a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Flexible Support Fund employability programme, focusing on 16–24-year-olds living in Greenwich and Bexley who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). In collaboration with the DWP, CACT Employability Officer/s will design and deliver a ‘Youth Hub’ offer to support and guide young people to into Education, Employment or Training opportunities.
Job Purpose
· To work as a member of the ‘DWP Youth Hub’ project team to engage and enable young people to reach their full potential with education, training and employment opportunities.
· The project will provide one-to-one mentoring sessions with wraparound support.
· The postholder will identify and recruit a caseload of young people to support into and sustain their engagement in Education, Employment and Training.
· The programme will provide an opportunity for young people not in education, training or employment in Greater London area to access training and work experience to enable them to attain the skills and confidence to gain employment.
· The post holder will have a broad range of experience in building relationships with individuals from a range of backgrounds, alongside an ability to build and maintain relationships with employers.
· The post holder will co-ordinate and deliver one to one and group coaching sessions. Sessions will address essential skills for employment and provide practical support, interview coaching, careers information and guidance.
· The post holder will facilitate and / or signpost to wellbeing workshops and physical activity sessions to develop improved mindset, healthy lifestyles, mental health and self‐care. Working with multi-agency partners the post holder will seek to identify the barriers that have prevented young people from engaging in education and employment and help them to develop strategies to overcome these challenges
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· To provide one to one and group employability coaching sessions; in the community and online, enabling participants to identify, assess, and address barriers to engaging with education, employment, and training, as well as sourcing the most appropriate support.
· Work with young people to understand their strengths and develop person centred, targeted plans to help them achieve positive outcomes. Create individualised progress plans, which include identification of the wraparound support that needs to be provided (e.g., support to access housing or mental health services).
· Work closely with community groups and agencies such as Skills Academies Hubs, Local Integration Hubs, Job Centre Plus, to identify and recruit young people that would benefit most from the programme.
· Support a caseload and develop, contribute to, and deliver interventions to engage young people in education training and employment.
· To develop relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that a suitably diverse life skills and employability offer that meets young people’s needs and abilities.
· To work with local key worker support service to address any barriers to inclusion for young people they are working with.
· As required contribute to multi-agency planning and assessments of young people
· To identify meaningful work placement opportunities for young people internally and externally through partnerships with local businesses, and to manage and support work placements through work placement visits
· To maintain oversight of young people participating in work placements to help them settle in, meet the expectations of their employer or training / education provider, perform at their best, and achieve their action plan goals.
· Regularly review and monitor the progress of young people on the programme and guide interventions / wraparound support.
· Maintain a record of distance travelled which demonstrates how far the participant has travelled since joining the project, for example, in terms of personal development, increased confidence, and greater levels of motivation.
· To maintain a working knowledge of education, safeguarding and effective practice in supporting young people into education, training and employment.
· To hold knowledge of the regions in which we work to maintain an up to date working knowledge of education and training providers and employers locally and ensure that young people are referred and supported into appropriate EET provision.
· Compile and submit all required monitoring to colleagues and the DWP on progress of those young people they are working with. Maintain full and accurate case records within appropriate timescales using the case management system.
· Attend training events, supervision meetings and other team, formal and informal meetings as required to contribute to professional, service and self-development.
· Support young person feedback mechanisms in the design of activities and in the continuous improvement of the project.
· To ensure good quality case studies and stories are shared with colleagues to support the promotion of the programmes.
