In this rewarding role, you will be within a team of Relationship Fundraising Managers and play your part to drive income growth across the region by building valuable relationships with supporters and delivering tailored stewardship to a variety of audiences. About you
The skills and experience we are looking for in the role are:
- Solid account management experience with the proven ability to build rapport and develop relationships while understanding the needs of a variety of individuals, organisations and groups. You will place our supporters at the heart of everything you do by creating personalised and thoughtful solutions to deliver a first-class supporter experience.
- Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and achieve both team and individual goals, including managing relationships with Macmillan supporters, volunteer groups and meeting key metrics such as, supporter retention and increasing fundraising targets.
- Impactful written and verbal communication and influencing skills to enable you to engage, inspire and deliver key messages combined with experience of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively acquire new business and new relationships through targeted acquisition including research, completion of applications, and presentations to supporters/companies/groups to secure new income and/or relationships.
This role is home-based with mobile working. Your home base needs to be in Wales (or close to the border - e.g. in Chester) as on a weekly basis you can expect to work across Wales to meet with supporters face to face approximately 2 to 3 days a week. As such, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle or the ability to travel frequently across the region.
There will be a requirement to attend in-person team meetings based in the area on a quarterly basis and other parts of the UK when our wider fundraising territory and department get together.
There will also be a requirement for flexible and out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity and you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

About the role
This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for managing and growing Centrepoints largest corporate partner- Nationwide. that delivers long-term, sustainable income and meaningful social impact.
You will lead the direct relationship with Nationwide and managing the internal governance structure supporting the partnership.
You will work closely with colleagues across the whole organisation to deliver on all aspects of the partnership to deliver mutual value for both Centrepoint and our corporate partner.
This role also includes leadership responsibility, providing direction, support and development to two line reportswithin the function.
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g. two days one week and three days the next). BACKGROUND
The latest research suggests that 2.7 million children are at risk of hunger, meaning one in five children don’t have enough to eat. When a child is too hungry to learn, they struggle to concentrate, absorb information, and manage their emotions, causing them to fall behind in their studies.
Magic Breakfast provides a nutritious breakfast to over 300,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma. We are now at an exciting point in our journey as we launch Nourishing Futures, our long-term strategy, which capitalises on market changes and government commitments to scale our work, while redefining breakfast spaces not just as places to eat, but as places to thrive.
To support the delivery of this strategy, we are evolving our Business Development function and creating a new Business Development Manager – Scotland role. This role will unlock opportunities in Scotland across public funding, trusts, foundations, philanthropy and partnerships, ensuring Magic Breakfast grows its income sustainably across devolved nations.
JOB PURPOSE
The Business Development Manager – Scotland will drive income growth and strategic partnerships in Scotland. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this role will take a lead in developing both public funded income and philanthropic support (trusts, high-net-worth individuals and corporate partnerships).
The postholder will work closely with the Head of Major Giving (Trusts & Philanthropy) and Head of Partnerships in England to ensure joined-up approaches, while developing extensive networks and relationships across Scotland’s funding and commissioning landscape.
This role is both externally focused — cultivating relationships with commissioners, funders, and partners — and internally collaborative, aligning with colleagues across Magic Breakfast to maximise opportunities and deliver against the organisation’s strategic plan.
Key responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy

With support from the Head of Business Development, lead the development and delivery of the Scotland Business Development and Fundraising Strategy, ensuring alignment with Magic Breakfast’s UK-wide income priorities, wider organisational strategy, and any Scotland-specific plans across Service Delivery and Policy & Engagement.

Act as the lead advisor on business development in Scotland, providing insight, guidance and recommendations on market trends, risks and opportunities.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities across public and philanthropic income streams, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
Public Funding

Identify and secure public funded service contracts in Scotland, particularly with local authorities, education commissioners, and government departments.

Build strong partnerships with consortia, third sector networks, and intermediary bodies to access collaborative commissioning opportunities and joint delivery models.

Monitor and respond proactively to changes in the Scottish Government’s commissioning priorities (e.g. child poverty, attainment challenge, early years and family support, wellbeing economy), aligning proposals with policy drivers.

This will include working closely with the Prospect Research Manager and Major Giving colleagues to identify and qualify new opportunities, and to re-engage lapsed supporters in Scotland,

Take responsibility for cultivating relationships, preparing compelling cases for support, and personally soliciting major gifts (five- and six-figure level), securing multi-year, transformational commitments.

Work collaboratively with the Major Givings Leads and the Head of Major Giving to integrate Scottish funders into the UK-wide prospecting and stewardship framework, maximising opportunities for uplift and avoiding siloed engagement.

Deliver high-quality, values-driven donor journeys for Scottish prospects and supporters, including bespoke engagement opportunities such as school visits, events, and briefings that connect funders directly with impact.

Build relationships with corporates headquartered or operating in Scotland, coordinating with the Head of Partnerships to ensure Scottish corporate engagement complements and aligns national partnerships, avoid duplication, and develop bespoke proposals and stewardship plans where appropriate.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
Knowledge and Experience

Strong knowledge of the Scottish funding and commissioning landscape, including key trusts, foundations, government bodies and corporate networks.

Proven track record of developing and delivering income growth from a variety of sources, including public funding, philanthropy and partnerships.

Young Roots is looking for an experienced and creative Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to play a key role in securing income that transforms the lives of young refugees and asylum seekers. This is a rewarding role leading Trusts and Foundations income generation with structured support from the Head of Fundraising and Development. About the role
Medact is hiring for the new role of Fundraising Manager: Trusts & Grants to secure grant funds for the organisation over a critical one-year period. The new Fundraising Manager will be responsible for completing applications already in the pipeline, and then setting out a plan to apply for as many successful grants as possible in the period and delivering it.

The NSPCC relies on voluntary income for the majority of its work to keep children safe, prevent abuse and ensure every child has a voice. To secure long-term sustainability, the charity has reshaped how it engages supporters through the Engagement and Fundraising Directorate.
Within this, the Philanthropy and Partnerships Department brings together high-value audiences and supporter-led income. The Volunteer Board Fundraising team leads income generation through regional and national volunteer boards, volunteer-led fundraising initiatives and delivery of special events through our high value event committees. These activities play a vital role in maximising sustainable income, engaging senior volunteers, and supporting long-term supporter relationships.
The volunteer boards are made up of influential and successful senior stakeholders who feel passionately about the NSPCC and volunteer their time to help the NSPCC generate income and awareness. They employ a range of fundraising techniques to reach their goals – their focus being to use their networks and influence to secure income generating opportunities via events, corporate partnerships and major gifts from individuals.
The team works closely with colleagues in Philanthropy and Partnerships (corporate partnerships, major gifts, trusts and statutory), Public Engagement (marketing, brand, digital), and Fundraising Operations (data, compliance, finance, procurement) to ensure volunteer fundraising is integrated into supporter journeys, delivers excellent experiences, and achieves strong ROI.
With the support of a Fundraising Manager, the role of the Fundraiser is to cultivate and steward key relationships and deliver special projects across the volunteer boards and their network to deliver against annual income plans.

We are seeking a proactive and relationship-led fundraiser to drive major donor and legacy giving for a growing and ambitious charity.
Position: Philanthropy Manager
Salary: £40,000
Location: Hybrid, with weekly office day in Kennington, London SE11
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
This is a hands-on and rewarding role where you will lead the day-to-day delivery of major donor fundraising and help grow legacy giving. Working closely with the Development Director, senior leaders and trustees, you will oversee the major donor pipeline, build strong and meaningful relationships, and deliver personalised supporter experiences that inspire long term commitment.
You will line manage the Philanthropy Officer and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to plan and deliver events, develop compelling donor communications and support data driven insight into supporter behaviour and opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing a portfolio of major donor prospects and supporters
- Developing tailored cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans
- Planning and delivering high quality donor events and engagement activities
- Leading on legacy giving development, communications and stewardship
- Researching new prospects and preparing donor briefings
- Overseeing due diligence processes and ensuring compliance with fundraising standards
- Producing regular reports to support income forecasting and pipeline management
- Coaching, motivating and developing the Philanthropy Officer
- Supporting the implementation of improved CRM and data systems
About You
As Philanthropy Manager you will be confident, organised and proactive, with strong relationship management skills and the ability to communicate impact with clarity and warmth. You will be motivated by building meaningful supporter relationships and delivering exceptional experiences.
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong background in major donor or individual giving fundraising
- Experience securing five or six figure gifts
- Ability to manage pipelines and donor journeys using CRM systems
- Experience planning and delivering donor cultivation events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, trustees and colleagues
- Experience researching and cultivating new prospects

We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our busy and ambitious Corporate Partnerships team.
You will lead on the growth and delivery of a suite of global and national partnerships worth c£400,000 per year.
You will have a proven track record of growing corporate income, with expertise in leading the management of both commercial and strategic partnerships. You will also be comfortable and confident building relationships with senior management and influencing to ensure partnership success and alignment with Action Against Hunger’s ambitions. The successful candidate will be an excellent relationship manager, possessing creativity, drive and ambition.
This is an important role in the Fundraising and Communications department, which has big ambitions to grow income in support of Action Against Hunger’s work. Corporate partnerships are key to our current and future success, and we seek a passionate, energetic and openminded colleague to manage some of our key accounts and contribute towards the fight against life-threatening hunger.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and a number of our colleagues in the Action Against Hunger global network.
