NEA’s Fundraising and Partnerships team has seen sustained growth in income from public and corporate fundraising, helping to raise awareness of fuel poverty and expand our reach. To build on this success and continue increasing unrestricted income through a diverse fundraising mix, we are recruiting a Fundraising Officer to join our knowledgeable and compassionate team.
As Fundraising Officer, you’ll become part of a close-knit, friendly, and hardworking group who generate income from a wide range of sources, including corporate partnerships, major donors, events, community fundraising and individual giving. As Fundraising Officer, your role will be to support, develop and inspire corporate partnerships, individual supporters and fundraising groups to ensure our fundraising activity is as effective as possible.
You will provide excellent stewardship, support, and motivation to a wide range of supporters. You’ll develop and deliver dedicated corporate fundraising campaigns, write compelling cases for support, and create engaging copy for social media and email to inspire people to support NEA.
Working as a part of the Fundraising Team, the role will focus on identifying and developing corporate partnerships, as well as overseeing NEA’s calendar of fundraising events. You will deliver high-quality stewardship and support to fundraisers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience. You’ll also be responsible for planning and executing a portfolio of challenge events, while cultivating meaningful relationships with a diverse range of corporate partners.
A key part of your role will be identifying and securing new opportunities for corporate support, while strengthening existing relationships to foster long-term engagement. You will also play an important role in supporting NEA’s corporate volunteering programme.
You’ll be part of a small, friendly, and hardworking team that works collaboratively to achieve shared goals. The role requires strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, so we’re looking for someone with demonstrable experience in fundraising or business development, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
This is a hybrid role based at NEA’s Head Office in Newcastle upon Tyne, with national travel required to meet partners and attend events.

This is a new role working across Battersea’s Philanthropy, Partnerships and Commercial (PP&C) fundraising team, to help drive income growth and maintain strong funder relationships.
The primary focus of your work will be prospect identification and qualification for an upcoming capital campaign. This will include new major donor prospects and charitable Trusts that support capital projects.
You will also be responsible for undertaking due diligence on individuals, corporations and trusts that are supporting Battersea in order to inform our colleagues about potential financial and reputational risks, empowering them to make informed decisions about our partnerships.
You will be an integral part of the capital campaign, managing the prospect pipelines, tracking prospects as they move through the cultivation cycle and supporting the fundraisers with their cultivation. You will also write and contribute to event biographies for our Special Event program during particularly busy periods.
You will ensure that all research output is compliant with GDPR and will share data protection expertise with other team members.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic supervisor or team leader to take up a full-time role within our organisation as a Project Supervisor to be part of our small and dedicated team. About Unfold
Unfold is an established local charity supporting young people and families to reach their potential by identifying and achieving their goals through mentoring. We support families and young people in Westminster and its neighbouring boroughs through mentoring programmes and peer support groups for women with children.
For over 35 years, we have provided support to families and young people at risk of social exclusion. About the Role
The Programme Manager is responsible for the development, management and delivery of Unfold’s Broadening Horizons mentoring programme and peer support groups for children and young people aged 10–25.
The role includes managing a team of four (Senior Programme Officers and Programme Officers), ensuring effective planning and delivery of mentoring programmes in line with agreed strategies and workplans. You will oversee the development of specialised programmes, including mentoring for refugees, young people seeking asylum, those excluded from mainstream education, and those with care experience.
The Programme Manager will monitor performance, manage resources, ensure compliance with Unfold’s policies and procedures, and report regularly to the Deputy CEO and Board of Trustees. You will prepare reports and case studies, analyse monitoring data, revise training materials, and use findings to inform programme improvement.
Partnership management is a key element of the role, including maintaining and developing relationships with local authorities, schools, funders, and community organisations to enhance programme delivery. The postholder will also lead the Youth Advisory Council, supporting members to contribute to Unfold’s strategy and direction.

Who We Are
Our charity was established in 1992, to provide care and support to people in Sussex, living with and affected by HIV. Over the past three decades there have been huge advances in treatment and care for those affected by the virus. People taking effective anti-retroviral medication (ART’s) can live long lives, with HIV becoming undetectable and untransmittable.
Whilst people who are living with HIV can live longer, many develop other physical co-morbidities as they age and many experience social and self- stigma. Our service users are often from marginalised groups, who often experience inter-sectional discrimination and health inequalities. Many of our service users experience socio-economic disadvantage and have multiple and complex needs.
The Sussex Beacon offers a range of services to people who have been living with HIV for decades through to those who are newly diagnosed. Our services include:

Corporate Partnership Fundraising at The Sussex Beacon
The Sussex Beacon has a proud history of working with corporate supporters who are passionate about making a difference. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will lead on identifying new corporate prospects, developing compelling proposals, and managing a portfolio of existing partners.
