About the team: 
The LSESU Advice Service supports students across a range of academic and housing issues, while also administering a series of increasingly sought-after hardship funds. As Advice Caseworker, you’ll be expected to become an expert in these areas, delivering the bulk of the casework and making a difference to the students who need it most. 
 
 

You’ll also work closely with our Communications team to shape our communication and engagement strategy - raising stakeholder awareness, improving service accessibility, and providing students with regular, proactive and useful information. 

The Advice Service sits within the Student Voice Department, alongside the Representation Team. You will work closely with colleagues across the Student Voice department and the wider Student Union, along with Student Support teams at LSE.

About the role 

We're looking for a skilled caseworker who is both empathetic and pragmatic. 

You'll manage a large, complex caseload while consistently meeting response-time targets, and you'll bring a positive, solution-focused attitude to the challenges that come with it. Above all, you're genuinely enthusiastic about supporting students and comfortable navigating the complexities of working with an external stakeholder organisation.

This role centres on providing 1:1 advice via email, video call, and in-person appointments, so strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are essential.

You'll also need strong diligence and the ability to digest complex regulations and translate them into clear, practical guidance — this is crucial to delivering the high level of support LSE students rely on.

In many ways, this is not a typical Advice Service, and we are not looking for a typical Advice Caseworker. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, driven, resilient, and a role model to others. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, able to support colleagues, and skilled at building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. The Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Management Officer to join the charity’s Data and Insights Function. You will be joining the charity at a time of significant opportunity as we continue to strengthen our approach to data, insight and supporter engagement.

The Data Management Officer will mainly be responsible for managing and developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supporter data. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM and data professional who enjoys hands-on responsibility for systems, process improvement and data management, and enabling colleagues to deliver exceptional fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement activity. Working closely with teams across the charity, you will ensure our CRM remains effective, compliant and fit for purpose while helping us better understand and engage our supporters. This role can be offered on a fully remote basis, with the option to work from Perth Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located or our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, if preferred. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.

About You

Essential

• Proven experience managing CRM systems in a charity or fundraising context and being comfortable working with large datasets.

• Experience with data segmentation, ETL processes, transformation and import / export processes.

• Strong understanding of data protection legislation (e.g. GDPR).

• Understanding of Gift Aid regulations and charity fundraising compliance.

• Confident using query tools and an understanding of query-based data extraction.

The Limbless Association is seeking a proactive, creative and resourceful Development Officer to enable the charity to extend its reach across the south west.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting individuals and their families experiencing amputation, through their rehabilitation, recovery and life beyond limb loss.

The Amputee Network Development Officer will play a pivotal role in the LA realising its outreach aims in the region. This is an exciting opportunity for a practical, compassionate community professional who wants to help households reduce energy costs, improve comfort at home and build resilience during a challenging time for many residents. Trusted, face-to-face advice in people’s homes is central to the role, particularly for households at risk of fuel poverty who may need impartial support to access the help available to them.

As an experienced Home Energy Advisor, you will carry out home visits across Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley and Bexley, as well as providing advice by telephone and at community events. You will tailor practical support to each household, helping residents use energy more efficiently, reduce bills where possible, and keep their homes warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

You will be a confident communicator and empathetic listener, able to understand the specific challenges faced by vulnerable households and respond with clear, positive and practical solutions.

Alongside advice, you will help residents install simple energy-saving measures such as LED bulbs, draught excluders and radiator reflectors. You will also signpost households to wider support, including funded retrofit measures, financial and debt advice, and health and wellbeing services.

About South East London Community Energy

South East London Community Energy (Selce) was born in 2014, when a group of people living in Greenwich & Lewisham became so concerned about climate change that they decided to come up with a formula that would help to create a clean and just energy future. 

Throughout our first ten-years, we have set up projects that address inequality and seek to reduce our collective carbon footprint at different points in the energy systems.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Lead to lead the implementation, rollout and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace and wider digital systems across the Refugee Employment Network.

The Refugee Employment Marketplace is a digital platform connecting displaced people in the UK with jobs, employers and employment support.

Working closely with developers, partners and users, you will help ensure the Marketplace is successfully implemented, accessible, adopted and scaled across Wales and the wider REN network.
