Following an internal promotion, we are looking for our next Senior Special Events Executive to join our high performing Special Events team. Together, the team delivers a range of special events which raises vital funds to save the lives of people with cancer,  including:

• Recital 4 Research, an opera recital and reception; 
• The Royal Marsden Cup, our annual golf day; and
• the Ever After Garden, our flagship and high profile annual remembrance garden in Chelsea, which last year was visited by HRH The Princess of Wales and over 190,000 visitors

In this role you will help deliver our portfolio of events, which will include:

• coordinating speakers, 
• liaising with suppliers, 
• managing senior volunteers, 
• supporting in donor meetings,
• securing high value auction and raffle prizes, and 
• writing donor communications. 

Your support will ensure that as a team we deliver outstanding donor experiences and event outcomes.You will be joining us at an exciting time as we seek to grow our portfolio and deliver income growth from high value fundraising committees and special events.

Scleroderma & Raynaud’s UK is the UK’s leading charity for people affected by Scleroderma and Raynaud’s. We provide information and support to patients, campaign for better awareness and services, and fund research into treatments and cures.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the CEO, the COO will translate strategic vision into operational delivery, ensuring the organisation has the systems, people, and processes in place to achieve its goals
• Providing operational leadership as part of the Senior Management Team
• Overseeing financial management, budgeting, and reporting
• Leading governance, compliance, and Board support
• Driving people strategy, culture, and organisational development
• Managing IT systems, data, and digital transformation
• Ensuring effective operational processes and risk management
• Providing support to the department heads, chair SMT meetings, and deputise for the CEO when needed

About You:

You will bring significant experience in senior operational leadership, ideally in the charity or not-for-profit sector.  Knowledge of health, particularly rare conditions or patient organisations would be advantageous, but not essential.   

You will have a strong track record of leading and developing senior teams.  Financially astute, you have experience overseeing budgets, management accounts, and presenting to Boards, alongside a solid understanding of governance and regulatory compliance. 

You will bring experience in HR and people management, including policy development and employee relations, as well as oversight of systems, IT, and digital infrastructure. Professional qualification in finance, HR, or relevant management discipline would be advantageous. 

Crucially, you will combine strategic insight with a pragmatic, hands-on approach, and will be comfortable operating across a broad remit within a small, agile organisation, and motivated by the opportunity to help shape and strengthen how it operates.

We're looking for a Systems Administrator to take operational ownership of the Institute’s core digital systems, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and effective in supporting both academic and professional services functions.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on the day-to-day administration, maintenance and optimisation of key platforms, including our virtual learning environment (Moodle), our student information system (Quercus), and other institutional systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring systems are functioning effectively, supporting users, and enabling a high-quality digital experience across the organisation.

You'll bring strong technical capability alongside a practical, solutions-focused approach, be confident working across a range of stakeholders and able to translate technical issues into clear, actionable outcomes and you'll have:

• Experience administering digital systems in a complex organisation (ideally in higher education or a similar environment)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing system updates, releases and user access
• Ability to produce clear documentation and user guidance
• Strong organisational and communication skills

About you:

The Special Events Officer is an exciting role at MDUK, that will sit within the High Value Engagement, Fundraising team.​

You'll:​

• Support the Special Events team on a variety of tasks including sourcing prizes, managing guest lists, marketing, liaising with suppliers and thanking supporters. 
• Assist the Special Events manager in the research and delivery of new events.
• Lead on the delivery of third-party fundraising events.

About the role

The Accounts Assistant role involves:

• Processing day-to-day finances, ensuring all bank accounts and transactions are reconciled and coded correctly on Xero at month end.
• Ensuring all income is accurately processed and recorded on Xero and our CRM system (Beacon).
• Generating invoices as required, inputting into Xero, and chasing outstanding payments
• Overseeing and managing the expense card system (Volopa), topping up individual cards as required and processing payments
• Supporting the Finance Manager in the planning and production of accurate annual budgets.
• Supporting the Finance Manager with preparing documents required for annual audit.

The Follicular Lymphoma Foundation (FLF) is partnering with Robertson Bell on a retained basis to appoint a Head of Finance on a permanent basis. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity within an ambitious, globally focused organisation working to accelerate a cure for follicular lymphoma - and to do it fast.

Founded in 2019, FLF is the first charity in the world dedicated solely to curing follicular lymphoma, an incurable blood cancer affecting more than 1.5 million people globally. Reporting directly to the Global CEO and working closely with Trustees, Board Members and senior stakeholders, the Head of Finance will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, strengthening operational maturity and supporting international growth.

The role:
• Lead the development of FLF’s long-term financial strategy, supporting growth and international expansion.
• Partner with the Global CEO, Trustees and leadership team, providing financial insight to support decision-making, programme investment and fundraising activity.
• Oversee financial management across multiple international entities, ensuring robust controls, governance and compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling processes.
• Support grant funding, restricted income management and pharma partnership activity.
• Oversee management accounts, statutory reporting, audits and regulatory submissions across UK and US operations.
• Drive improvements in systems, reporting and operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership and development support to the Finance and Operations Officer.
• Act as a trusted advisor across the organisation, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.
• Present financial information clearly to Boards and non-finance stakeholders.
