We are looking for a Refuge Worker to work within our culturally specific refuge to provide specialist, high-quality support to women and children escaping domestic abuse. MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 

1. IT RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Be the first point of contact for our externally contracted IT support team, to ensure all devices are maintained, updated, upgraded, and secured, including operating systems, security patches, antivirus, and endpoint protection. 

• Lead on all IT systems across the organisation, including hardware, software, networks, cloud-based systems, and user access. 

• Be our cyber security awareness champion and link with the external IT support team on any suspected cyber incidents, phishing attempts, data breaches, or system vulnerabilities. 

• Purchase, install and configure new IT equipment and software in line with organisational needs, budget, and security requirements. 

• Support staff with installing and using approved software and digital tools, providing guidance and basic training as required. 

• Maintain accurate IT documentation, including user access, licences, warranties, and renewal schedules. 

• Support business continuity from an IT perspective, ensuring systems resilience, backups, and disaster recovery arrangements are in place and tested. 

2. Resources and Core Business Administration  

• Lead on organisational resource management, including purchasing of equipment, supplies, and services, ensuring value for money and compliance with budgetary controls. 

• Maintain and update the Asset Register, ensuring all equipment is logged, tracked, and reviewed appropriately. 

• Provide administration to support the core business team including finance, health and safety contractors, insurance contracts 

• Support the maintenance and regular review of the Business Continuity Plan, ensuring it remains accurate, practical, and up to date. 

• Assist with record keeping, document control, and data accuracy across administrative and resource systems. 

• Contribute to the smooth running of central administrative processes and support continuous improvement in systems and ways of working. 

ORGANISATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organisation. 

• Champion the charity’s values, professional integrity, and commitment to inclusion and respect.

Head of Product - Alzheimer's Society

Nearly one million people in the UK are living with dementia. How they access support, information and hope increasingly depends on the digital products we build. As Head of Product at Alzheimer's Society, you'll set the strategic vision for the digital services that shape their experience. You'll also lead the multidisciplinary teams that bring those services to life.

Digital products aren't just part of our work at Alzheimer's Society, they're central to how we reach people who need us. As Head of Product within our Technology directorate, you'll own the vision and strategy for our digital experiences. From the platforms where people find information in moments of crisis, to the tools that enable our services, campaigns, and fundraising user journeys.

This is a leadership role with real breadth and impact. You'll shape investment decisions across the digital portfolio. You'll set the standards for accessibility and user-centred design, and build the operating models that enable product teams to solve the right problems. But you'll also lead people. A multidisciplinary function spanning product management, delivery management, user-centred design, and matrix leadership of engineering teams. Your role is to create the environment where these disciplines don't just coexist but genuinely collaborate to deliver outcomes that matter.

You'll work at the intersection of strategy and practice. That means setting direction and guarding principles, while staying close enough to product teams to understand the trade-offs they're navigating. It means partnering with senior stakeholders across the organisation, from service delivery to fundraising. It means ensuring that our digital strategy serves the whole Society. And it means championing the voices of people affected by dementia through our Involvement team, ensuring lived experience shapes every product decision.

The digital landscape is changing rapidly, and so are the possibilities for how we support people. You'll balance the discipline of keeping existing products reliable and secure with the curiosity to explore what's emerging. Including AI-enabled services where they can genuinely improve reach or quality of support.

About you

You're an ambitious, values-led digital leader who sees product thinking as a powerful tool for social impact. You excel at developing clear digital visions aligned to organisational objectives. You understand that great products emerge from genuinely collaborative, multidisciplinary teams working together from discovery through to live service improvement. You bring fresh thinking to digital challenges and know that user-centred, outcome-led practice enables organisations to achieve their goals.

You'll have:

- Significant experience leading a multidisciplinary digital function, including product management, delivery management, and user-centred design.
- Proven track record of leading complex digital portfolios using agile, outcome-led and evidence-informed delivery approaches, with demonstrable ability to develop and deliver clear digital strategy aligned to organisational objectives.
- Good understanding of user-centred design and continuous improvement, with experience embedding these practices at organisational scale.
- Significant experience balancing user needs, organisational priorities, operational constraints and technical sustainability, with ability to define meaningful outcomes and success measures.
- Evidenced experience of working in partnership with software engineering, platform and data teams within a matrix-managed environment.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the proven ability to influence senior leaders and engage non-technical audiences.
- Experience of budget management, resource planning, and working with external suppliers to achieve value for money.

What you'll focus on:

- Owning and leading the Society-wide digital strategy, defining strategic outcomes, investment priorities and success measures for the overall digital portfolio.
- Leading delivery of strategically aligned digital products that support information, services, campaigning, fundraising and internal operations.
- Establishing and continuously improving a modern product operating model, influencing governance, funding, planning and decision-making processes across the Society.
- Leading, inspiring and developing your multidisciplinary digital function, ensuring digital capability, skills and structures evolve to meet future organisational needs, with clear professional standards across disciplines.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, communicating complex concepts clearly to executives, trustees and external partners.
- Championing accessible, inclusive and ethical design for people affected by dementia, working closely with our Involvement team.
- Managing the overall digital budget and strategic supplier relationships, ensuring effective prioritisation, resourcing, transparency and value for money.
- Providing matrix leadership to software engineering teams, working in close partnership with engineering and platform leaders to create conditions for genuinely collaborative teams working from problem discovery through to live service improvement.

The Role

We are seeking a Director for Charities to lead and further develop the Company’s grant-making, philanthropy and fundraising. The Director for Charities will oversee our grant-making, steward key funding relationships and play a central role in developing fundraising with members, including growing individual giving, legacies and events-based income. About the Role

Coram is contracted by the Department of Education to provide a data service to deliver the quarterly data collection on adoption and special guardianship orders, and develop and establish an annual adoption support data collection. The ASG Data team consists of three members and sits alongside the Impact and Evaluation Team within the Coram Institute for Children.

The Senior Data and Performance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the work of the ASG Data team. The post holder will support with the ASG data collection, the development of the Adoption Support data collection, undertake data analysis and reporting, and visualisations to provide high quality data intelligence for the DfE and adoption sector.

This post would suit someone who has experience of data collection, recording, reporting and visualising complex data and information, preferably within the adoption, charity or public sector context, is an advanced user of Excel and Python, and is confident in presenting data to a range of audiences.

The charity have been around for over thirty years and have carried out some incredible work over this time. This is an exciting time to join this charity as they are going through a period of significant growth and are seeking a proactive and motivated Fundraising Officer to support the expansion of their individual giving and challenge events programmes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with fundraising experience, you can really make this role your own and see the benefits day to day of the work the charity carries out. This role requires a self-starter, who can use their initiative to take charge and go out to achieve their fundraising activities. The team are brilliant, work collaboratively and flexibly, and really care about their staff and their services. It would be an excellent career development opportunity too.

In this role, you will steward individual donors and event participants, develop supporter journeys, donor engagement, create engaging communications, and use data insights to strengthen engagement and retention. You will manage online fundraising platforms, support key fundraising campaigns, and play an important part in delivering their charity events. You will also collaborate closely with the Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and help ensure accurate supporter data is maintained.

I'm looking for someone with sound fundraising experience, strong organisation and communication skills, and a confident, positive approach. Experience with individual giving, supporter journeys and charity CRM's is essential.

This role is initially a temporary role with the expectation to become permanent to the successful postholder fairly quickly. There is an urgent need for someone to be in post, so we are looking to move fast, with interviews week commencing the 16^th February, and starting soon after.
