The Youth Employability Service
CXK delivers the Youth Employability Service (YES) across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. We offer information, advice, support and guidance to young people in academic years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to explore their options, plan and then take their next steps. We also work with schools supporting young people in year 11 who are at risk of becoming NEET. Liaising with a range of other services, YES is focussed on supporting young people to achieve their potential.
The Team
The YES team support young people from across the county, seeing them at CXK bases, partner venues or in community settings. The team assess and action plan with young people referred to the service, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and /or employment. Working with a wide range of young people, the team approach is focused, creative and persistent, building on young peoples’ confidence and motivation alongside their skills and personal growth.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated YES Team Leader to support the delivery of a high-performing Youth Employability Service across East Sussex. You will provide line management and case management support to a team of advisers, ensuring young people achieve positive outcomes in employment, education and training while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Working closely with the Area Manager, you will use performance data and service metrics to monitor delivery, identify areas for improvement and contribute to service planning. You will support quality assurance activities including audits, observations and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will oversee referral allocation and caseload management, ensuring service standards and contractual requirements are met. A key part of the role involves managing the service database to support the tracking of young people across East Sussex, working closely with the East Sussex County Council Data Team to ensure data accuracy, compliance and effective reporting
The role also requires effective partnership working, representing YES and CXK at stakeholder meetings, developing positive relationships with external agencies and promoting the needs of young people who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET. You will support staff with safeguarding, risk management and professional development, while championing youth participation and ensuring young people's voices are heard within the organisation.

The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is seeking an experienced and creative communications professional to join our growing international team working to deliver conservation impact and protect the basic human right to a secure natural environment. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the implementation of EJF’s content and digital communications, ensuring our investigations and advocacy are presented with clarity and impact. The Head of Finance will lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring our financial information is accurate, timely and useful. The role will oversee financial reporting, controls, compliance, payroll, budgeting and forecasting, while managing and developing the finance team. The postholder will work closely with budget holders and senior leaders to support good financial decision-making across the organisation. The role will also provide oversight of key operational areas, including premises, health and safety, equipment and outsourced technology support.
In the first 6–12 months, the postholder will be expected to strengthen monthly reporting, improve budget holder support, maintain clear financial controls, support the annual audit and help embed effective finance processes across the organisation.
Financial responsibilities

About us
We are a long-established UK research institution with charitable status and accounting operations in both the UK and East Africa. With an annual turnover of over £1 million, our finances span two entities and a range of restricted and unrestricted funds, consolidated for reporting. We are looking for a qualified accountant to join us as a contractor in a part-time, ongoing capacity to strengthen the running of our finance function.
The role
Our accountant in the East Africa office handles the day-to-day transactions — raising invoices, recording expenses and paying supplier bills. You will work alongside them, providing the qualified oversight, payment control and monthly discipline that keep the finance function running well, and supporting their development along the way.
It is a varied role that combines hands-on accuracy with oversight and coaching. In practice, you will:
• Support, guide and coach our accountant so that accounting entries are made correctly and consistently, building their skills over time.
• Run payment preparation and approval process in the UK entity, approving payment runs for release by local signatories.
• Financial management of project funds: accounting, expense management, funds transfers and accurate financial reporting.
• Review monthly results and report, examining the Statement of Financial Activities and underlying entries, and tracking performance against budget.
• Own the budgeting process, maintaining and updating the existing annual budget and monitoring it each month, and reporting quarterly to funders.
• Run a reliable monthly close and provide cover for our accountant during leave or absence to keep the accounting running.
• Lead on risk, taking an active interest in risk assessment, management and internal financial controls, working with compliance officer for local regulatory compliance.
• Attend and co-ordinate the finance and development meeting, support Companies House and Charity Commissions returns and updates.
• Administrative support for grant applications and management of these.
Key requirements
• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIPFA), or a finalist with strong relevant experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Proficient in Xero, and either proficient in Joiin or a similar consolidation system such as Hyperion and able to learn it quickly. Familiarity with payment platforms (desirable).
• Sound understanding of payment controls, dual authorisation and segregation of duties.
• Experience of maintaining a budget and reviewing monthly performance against it.
• Detail-focused and hands-on, with the judgement to review, oversee and coach a colleague.
• Charity or non-profit experience is useful but not essential, including experience of managing project funds, expenses and reporting to funders.

Our systems
We use Xero for our accounting and Joiin for consolidated reporting. Both are already implemented and stable. Proficiency in Joiin is ideal; otherwise, experience of a similar system and a readiness to learn this software quickly is an advantage.

The role
We are looking for an experienced Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our friendly Fundraising Team. You will lead our trusts and foundations income stream, building a strong pipeline of significant funding opportunities, including high-value and multi-year partnerships. We’re excited to be recruiting a Senior Digital Channels Analytics Manager to join WWF-UK.
In this role, you’ll lead our digital channel analytics capability across web, email, social and paid media, helping teams understand what is working, where we can improve and how digital activity supports supporter experience, engagement and meaningful action.
You’ll act as the organisational expert for digital channel analytics, providing the insight, standards and expertise needed to inform decisions across fundraising, communications and digital activity. You’ll also play an important role in supporting compliance, including cookie banner management and alignment with GDPR, ePrivacy and ICO guidance.
