About the Role
Here at Fire Fighters Charity, we are here to help all serving and retired members of the UK’s fire family to live healthier and happier lives.
We’re looking for a Performance and Insight Coordinator to help us better understand our performance, impact and relationships, and use that insight to drive improvement across the organisation.
Working within our Change and Innovation team, you’ll play a key role in bringing together data, feedback and relational insight from across the organisation and our partners. You’ll gather and analyse both quantitative data (such as service performance and reach) and qualitative insight (including staff feedback, stakeholder views and “soft signals”) to build a complete picture of how we’re performing.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across teams and with external partners, including Fire and Rescue Services (FRS), to capture and analyse relationship insight. By connecting this with performance data, you’ll help identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities.
A key part of the role will be turning complex information into clear, actionable insight. You’ll produce dashboards, briefings, heatmaps and reports tailored to different audiences, enabling teams and leaders to make informed decisions and continuously improve.
You’ll also support strategic planning and innovation by feeding insight into change activity, tracking learning, and helping embed a culture of reflection, feedback and improvement across the organisation.
This role is subject to a basic DBS check.
About You
You are confident working with both data and people, able to bring together numbers, feedback and observations to tell a clear and compelling story.
You’ll have experience in a role involving data, as well as research, engagement or service delivery, with a proven ability to analyse diverse information and translate it into meaningful insight. You’re comfortable working across teams in a complex organisation and understand the importance of strong stakeholder relationships.
You’re a skilled communicator, able to present information clearly to a range of audiences, including senior leaders and non-specialists. You’re also highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across geographically dispersed teams.
With strong emotional intelligence and listening skills, you can create safe spaces for feedback and ensure insight is captured consistently. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, spotting patterns, and identifying what matters most.

About Kirklees Better Outcomes Partnership (KBOP)
KBOP is a mission driven social enterprise working with a partnership of expert delivery organisation to provide floating support to vulnerable people across Kirklees. Through following an asset-based approach focusing on people’s strengths and aspirations, we enable people to secure accommodation and to give them the skills required to sustain these tenancies independently over time, with a key focus on helping people into employment.

About the Opportunity:
The Initial Engagement Co-ordinator is a pivotal role to the function of KBOP. Working alongside the Team Leader and KBOP Central Hub, the role is the first point of contact for any individual or referring body seeking to access support from KBOP.
The responsibility of this role is to listen and understand the experiences of anyone contacting KBOP to determine how our service can support and enable them to overcome their current challenges, achieving their goals and ambitions. Ensuring that individuals feel supported from the first point of accessing KBOP and any immediate needs met with verbal advice, support and guidance over the phone.
This role will determine that anyone referred into the service is eligible and all information required to ensure to direct someone to the most suitable delivery partner, is available on the referral form. Signposting to alternative services if KBOP cannot meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· To engage with individuals contacting KBOP in a positive, asset focused way. Ensuring they feel heard and empowered to make their own decisions regarding the support they would like to receive.
· Clarifying ambitions, needs and eligibility of individuals seeking to access support from KBOP. Redirecting to other services if they do not have a housing need or currently accessing support from other services in Kirklees.
· If individual does have a housing need or is not currently supported by another services in Kirklees, assessing presenting ambition or needs to determine suitability for KBOP service.
· Once suitability has been confirmed, providing initial advice, support and guidance to individuals or referring bodies seeking to access support from KBOP. Supporting any individual with low level guidance & interventions to ensure their needs are met and ambitions supported.
· Responding to any enquiry into the KBOP service. This will be via phone or email.
· Identify eligibility of initial enquiries to KBOP service – checking for completion of referral form & signature of participant giving consent. If individual is not eligible for the service redirecting to another suitable service within Kirklees.
· Ensuring all information fields on initial referral have been completed – prioritising personal contact information to ensure Delivery Partners have the right information to engage individuals as quickly as possible.
· Updating applicable IT systems such as CDP Soft to ensure all relevant data is recorded in the system.
· Working with the central KBOP team to determine suitable Delivery Partner and updating system accordingly.
· Contacting referral body or individual seeking to access KBOP to confirm outcome of the initial process.

About Chapter One
Chapter One is a dynamic, growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most. We work in thirteen areas/regions of the UK and will support over 4,000 children in 2026-27.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs struggling five to seven-year old (Y1-3) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.
From a school perspective, online reading volunteers provide direct, meaningful literacy support for up to 10 pupils per class. The programme is particularly suitable for communities where it might be challenging to find parents and other volunteers who can commit to physically visiting schools to boost reading. About the Role
Chapter One is seeking a Bradford Programme Manager who is an excellent communicator and is able both to motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to disadvantaged communities is maximised throughout the academic year.
The post is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible, term-time only work from a home base and who is able to travel frequently in and around West Yorkshire. The postholder will be joining a team of established Programme Managers who work in different parts of the UK and will need to have some flexibility to work some additional hours during busy autumn weeks, and conversely to work fewer hours during quieter periods of the year.
There are plans for future expansion in Bradford so the role may grow, in time.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively explain Chapter One’s online reading volunteer programme and its benefits to school leaders and teachers.
Install, setup and maintain Chapter One equipment in participating classrooms.
Organise and conduct initial teacher training and follow-up.
Ensure a smooth initial launch of Chapter One’s programme in every classroom.
Fully understand the operation of the Chapter One platform and database and effectively communicate this to others as needed.
Liaise with colleagues performing technical and volunteer support roles.
Through regular visits to/contact with schools, provide on-going embedded professional learning and support to teachers throughout the year as needed.
Proactively monitor classroom adherence/fidelity to the Chapter One model, including systematic review of data reports and volunteer feedback, taking proactive action to resolve problems that arise.
Analyse and manipulate data (largely in Google sheets) to produce reports and identify trends.
Create regular data summaries for all participating classrooms.
Lead annual review meetings for senior leadership at participating schools.
Support programme monitoring, evaluation and research as required.

About the role
The focus of the role will be on digital campaigns and organising and promoting fundraising events to generate new income streams for the charity. These new income streams will allow us to move away from reliance on our core funding and enable us to diversify into areas necessary for us to aim for our strategic goal and reach more clients.
This role will work closely with the Digital Communications Manager and Service Managers to develop, lead and achieve buy-in on all campaigns and events.
The Fundraiser will build on relationships with existing donors and corporate sponsors and establish further networks of supporters, raising the profile of Staying Put and securing further funding.
Other areas of the role will include identifying and submitting applications for prizes and awards, preparing funding proposals, helping to shape the fundraising strategic plan and reporting on the success of campaigns.
Part-time, 18.75 hours per week, over 3 days. £30,900 FTE per annum.

About the role
The focus of the role will be on writing grant applications and competitive tenders to generate new income streams for the charity. These new income streams will allow us to move away from our reliance on core funding enabling us to follow our strategic plans and diversify where necessary to support more survivors.
This role will work closely with the Service Managers to identify funding opportunities which match our capacity for delivery.
The Bid Writer will develop and maintain networks and beneficial working relationships to raise the profile of Staying Put.
The role will involve analysing and researching information from various sources and then presenting these in a cohesive and persuasive way for the required audience. Writing reports and analysis for SLT will be required as part of this role.
Part-time, 18.75 hours per week, over 3 days. £32,900 FTE per annum.

About the Role
The PR team is responsible for generating, sustaining and growing the charity’s income year after year by communicating the work, ministry and financial needs of Caring For Life to a wide range of audiences.
The Trust Fundraiser will focus primarily on securing funding from Trusts, Foundations and grant-making bodies, whilst also helping to nurture relationships with major donors and exploring opportunities for corporate support.
As part of the PR team, the successful candidate will also support wider PR activities during busy periods, including Open Days, Supporters’ Days, formal visits and practical tasks at peak times.

The PR team is line managed by the Executive Director, with additional support from the CEO regarding pastoral insight and communication with churches and other Christian groups.

The Role
Reporting to the Retail Development Manager, the Retail Development Officer will support with the continued growth and development of our retail network.
The role holder will actively support the Retail Development Manager to build, deliver, and implement a pipeline of new sites development in retail, including shops, cafes and superstores, Yorkshire Cancer Research Centres, and other retail related projects.
You will have responsibility of supporting the Retail Development Manager with market analysis and feasibility studies of potential new sites, contributing to the development of business cases, projects plans and delivery of these plans as well as contributing to compliance and ongoing maintenance and required improvements within the retail real estate. There will also be an opportunity for the role holder to inform future decision making through the delivery of business insight, KPI data and other metric reports relating to income.
Specifically, you will:
Ensure Retail Development effectively manages risk through clear prioritisation and consistent role modelling of best practices:
· Work collaboratively with the Retail Area Manager, with regards to monitoring compliance with retail policies and procedures, as well as Health & Safety standards.
· Act as a visible leader in relation to all health and safety responsibilities, taking reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others. Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements, processes and procedures.
· Support and role model a strong safety-first approach in all retail development activities and projects.
· Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure new shops are in good condition and compliance documents are in place before being handed over to operate under business-as-usual activities.
Drive strong team performance across retail by consistently delivering high-quality work, demonstrating reliability, and actively collaborating across teams and external partners:
· Support, where possible, the recruitment process for new shop managers and volunteers and ensure this is complete in time for each new shop opening.
· Maintain and monitor detailed project plans for refurbishments, openings and improvement projects, ensuring suppliers, tradespeople and internal stakeholders are engaged and informed of key dates.
· Deputise for the Retail Development Manager, support and maintain relationships with property agents, shopfitters, tradespeople and third parties, in their absence.
· Assist as a contact for discussions with relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding new locations.

· Assist in developing business cases for each new shop, ensuring they are financially viable and key decisions are documented.
· Support the development of project plans for shop openings, closures, and refits by ensuring suppliers, tradespeople and internal stakeholders are engaged and informed of key dates.
· Continuously improve systems and processes that support effective project delivery, ensuring accurate documentation, reporting and compliance.
· Work alongside the Retail Development Manager to identify new suppliers, ensuring they are suitable, competent, and aligned to our values.
