About the Department
The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership was set up in 2017 with the mission to 'develop inspirational leaders who are called, connected, committed to deliver the Church of England vision for education'. Since then, it has operated a wide range of leadership development programmes, networks, research, conference and events, and published a range of key leadership resources to equip school leaders at every level to put their vision into practice.
Part of this provision has been as a very successful national provider of NPQ programmes. Beginning in 2017 with the delivery of NPQs for Headteachers, our suite of programmes has now expanded to include programmes for Specialist Teachers, Senior Leaders and also Executive Leaders. More recently, a partnership between the Church of England and the Catholic Education Service is also enabling programmes to be delivered more widely as together our school provision represents around 34% of the sector.
In 2025, the department will launch three new national programmes: Flourishing Leaders, Flourishing Teachers, and Flourishing ECTs (in partnership with UCL). These programmes respond to growing demand for high-quality, values-led professional learning and represent a significant expansion of our work across the education sector.
About the Role
As Programme Lead for Flourishing ECTs, you will oversee the successful delivery of the Flourishing ECTE programme: a professional learning offer we have developed at the Church of England in partnership with UCL.
You will ensure these programmes are delivered with excellence across a wide network of regional partners, supporting facilitators to create high-impact learning experiences for school leaders and teachers. Your role will involve coordinating delivery partners, refining programme content based on feedback and research, and ensuring that participants are well-supported throughout their learning journey.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of these programmes, driving continuous improvement and championing a vision of leadership and teaching that enables adults in education to flourish.

Professional Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of the Flourishing ECTEs programme, delivered in partnership with University College London (UCL).
- Ensure 'Flourishing Content' is continually improving and evolving, establishing a truly unique ECTE offer.
- Equip, train, and support facilitators to deliver programme content effectively, ensuring that training is tailored to the specific context and needs of the ECT phase across regional cohorts.
- Deliver elements of programme content in both large-scale virtual settings and smaller regional groups (virtually or face-to-face).
- Ensure effective curriculum delivery and knowledge application in early career teaching contexts, aligned with UCL's curriculum framework and standards.
- Collaborate with other Programme Leads to ensure coherence and consistency across programmes and to share best practice.
- Use leadership credibility to contribute to programme visibility and engagement, including sharing expertise through blogs, videos, and speaking at external events.
Staff Management and Collaboration. - Work closely with UCL and a wide network of delivery partners to ensure effective programme implementation and regional coordination.
- Lead the setup and onboarding of new Delivery Partners, ensuring they are well-prepared and supported to deliver the programme in line with UCL's expectations.
- Collaborate with other Programme Leads and the wider Professional Learning Team to deliver high-quality learning experiences for participants.
- Line manage members of the programme team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to ensure effective delivery and professional development.
Quality and Standards
- Implement robust quality assurance processes across all stages of programme delivery, responding to feedback and driving continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as attendance, engagement, and completion, working with UCL and Delivery Partners to ensure targets are met.
- Ensure participants are well prepared for assessment, supporting consistently high success rates.
- Regularly review feedback and address areas for improvement through curriculum design and facilitator development.
Communication and Engagement
- Ensure excellent communication with UCL, Delivery Partners, and participants, including oversight of inbox management and timely responses to queries.
- Coordinate external communications and logistics for events, briefings, and programme updates, ensuring a high-quality experience for all stakeholders.
Research and Development
- Engage with governance and research groups, including UCL, to ensure programme content is underpinned by current evidence and responsive to emerging themes.
- Work with school leaders and sector experts to bring evidence-led leadership development to life within the ECT phase of the programme.
Essential
Knowledge and Experience:
- Successful senior leadership experience within the education sector.
- Proven impact in designing and delivering professional development, particularly in relation to NPQs, ECTE or the Church of England's Flourishing programmes.
- Experience of leading teams of facilitators and/or coaches in a professional learning context.
- Strong understanding of the NPQ/ECF frameworks and their research base.
- Secure understanding of the Church of England Vision for Education and its application in schools.
- Experience in evaluating the impact of professional learning programmes using qualitative and quantitative data.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to design and deliver research-informed teacher development programmes.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, both in-person and online, with large and small groups.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.

Circumstances
- Whilst this is a remote role, the post-holder will need to travel on occasion. This could be for NSE Team Days, NSE Residential (one overnight stay in the Autumn each year), Professional Learning Team Days, other events such as the National Conference, DP Days etc.
- It is anticipated that there will be approximately 12 travel days per year, although this will vary.
- In addition, in this leadership role, you will be involved in Partnerships and Engagement development, promoting the NSE's Flourishing programmes with current and prospective delivery partners, and undertaking QA as required (number of days TBC each year in conversation with line manager)

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking a permanent Chief Medical Advisor. This is an SCS2 grade role and an outstanding opportunity to work in the largest Civil Service Department that touches the lives of citizens the length and breadth of the UK.
This is a unique opportunity for a senior medical professional to provide expert advice to inform policy, legislation, and delivery decisions at the UK’s biggest public service department, where we administer the State Pension and a range of working age, disability and ill health benefits to around 20 million claimants and customers.
This role will be the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) for Clinical Governance and Clinical Profession. The postholder will build strong relationships with senior leaders, including the Permanent Secretary, ministers, and external stakeholders, ensuring clinical advice is accurate and of the highest quality. The role requires strong team leadership, promoting an inclusive environment for clinicians to encourage development and growth while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
As the Department’s most senior medical professional, you will provide expert advice on clinical policy and clinical governance matters to DWP Ministers and senior leaders across DWP including the DWP Executive team. The role will also work closely with other clinical teams across government as well as external organisations such as regulatory bodies, external providers and charities.
The Department has an ambitious reform agenda including priorities set out in the Get Britain Working White Paper and the Pathways to Work Green Paper and a focus on tackling rising youth inactivity.
As Chief Medical Advisor you will bring professional expertise to complex problems, influencing right at the heart of decision making. You will be a strong relationship builder, able to work effectively across a large and complex organisation, and operate as an inspiring leader.
This role has four major components:
- Leading a team of approximately 50 colleagues providing clinical advice across DWP, you will act as the Department’s expert on clinical policy matters and work with officials across the Department to ensure Ministers receive the highest quality advice on clinical policy.
- Provide the in-house clinical advice relating to disability, work, and health within DWP for Ministers and the Executive team.
- Operate as Head of Clinical Profession, where you will be responsible for training, appraisal, and revalidation of c.200 clinicians in DWP, ensuring they are in good standing with their regulatory body. There is also a dotted line of professional responsibility to 5,500 healthcare professionals within contracted provider organisations.
- As SRO for Clinical Governance, you will oversee the DWP Caldicott Guardian and Clinical Safeguarding Lead, providing final sign-off for sanctions and waivers on behalf of the Secretary of State.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their knowledge, experience and skills against the following essential criteria:
- Excellent strategic thinking skills, with the ability to understand both complex policy detail and high level, strategic connections across a broad portfolio and an outstanding eye for critical detail.
- Experience of delivering practical and innovative responses to complex issues and responding to unplanned circumstances.
- Strong technical skills relevant to clinical safeguarding with expertise in occupational health or functional medicine.
- Evidence of exceptional leadership and ability to lead multidisciplinary clinical education teams and / or programmes to ensure understanding of all roles across the 5,500 strong clinical profession, including the ability to motivate and inspire an experienced and diverse clinical team.
- Ability to demonstrate credibility to inspire the respect of both internal and external stakeholders at Director level and above.

- A clinically active doctor with license to practise with GMC.
- Candidates must meet minimum ‘Continuing Professional Development’ (CPD) requirements (i.e. be up-to-date) in accordance with the requirements of the appropriate recognised professional body.
- Medical qualification MBChB or equivalent.

Resource Mobilisation Team
The Resource Mobilisation team at the Good Ancestor Movement helps liberate and steward financial flows in service of justice, reparation, and systemic change. The team works with wealth holders, funders, and movement partners to design values-aligned redistribution strategies, manage pooled funding vehicles, and co-create tools and practices that shift the culture of wealth. Our work includes grant and investment operations, grantee relationship support, community learning, and strategic resourcing design rooted in equity and care.
About Your Role
As a Resource Mobilisation Lead you will join our Resource Mobilisation team at Good Ancestor Movement in an exciting time for our organisation’s growth. You will be working closely with Kiki Mager, Director of Resource Mobilisation, although you will be working alongside our entire team and contribute to the organisation’s bold aims and ambitions within your role.
After having run 5 cohorts of our political education journey Reimagining Wealth, we launched a trial community of practice for wealth holders collectivising them around a pledge to redistribute. This community of practice is called Catalytic Collective and includes a pooled resourcing vehicle, the Roots Fund, to which members commit funds which are then being redistributed through a participatory governance model, the Accountability Circle, led by movement leaders. We have just completed our first pilot year of this resourcing vehicle including the release of our first round of 3-year funding commitments. To ensure the ongoing feasibility of this vehicle we are looking for a passionate new team member to tend to the ongoing development and scaling of this work.
The Catalytic Collective, Accountability Circle and Roots Fund formed in response to findings of a research and report that we commissioned with Decolonising Economics into Resourcing the Solidarity Economy. This report is the bedrock for our emergent resourcing vehicle and wider organising of wealth holders around wealth redistribution and stewardship practices centred in collective liberation. It also informs our educational programmes, our consultancy offerings and Transformative Investment Practice development.
As our Resource Mobilisation Lead, you will primarily support the management and ongoing development of our resourcing vehicle with Catalytic Collective (CC), the Accountability Circle (AC), the Solidarity Partners (SP) receiving funds and our wider wealthholder community. Your roles here will include:

Liaison with our fiscal host Social Change Nest and ensuring processes and grantees (‘Solidarity Partners’) experiences are in alignment with our mission and intentions.

Relationship management and primary contact for Solidarity Partners

Leading the development and/or fine tuning of a grant management system (GMS) to improve oversight and streamline processes together with one of our movement partners and manage the GMS once implemented, particularly as the number of grants mobilised will increase.

Supporting the AC with admin related tasks like the scheduling of meetings, direction on discussion points and the refinement of their own governance.

Administering CC agreements and resourcing commitments including confirming & signing funding agreements with CC members, sending out reminders about funding cycle renewal and exploring approaches to open up the resourcing pool for wider funders to contribute as a one-off without being a CC member.

Notice, reflect on and feed into ongoing learning and development around the processes and systems in place and what might we need to consider to further improve these in alignment with our vision and mission.

Manage the process of mobilising resources from our wider wealth holder community and others to commit boldly.

Support with story telling proposition and narrative pieces to support building momentum around the resourcing vehicle
Alongside this workstream, you will also:

Steward our Capital Campaigns process to support ad hoc relational and strategic resource mobilisation opportunities meeting needs of aligned organisations in the new and regenerative economy space.

About the Foyer Federation
Young people who experience homelessness are more likely to experience it later in life too. Our purpose is to break this cycle.
For over 30 years, we have led a national network of 51 Youth Foyers, reaching approximately 3,100 young people aged 16-25 who can’t live at home every year.

As Network & Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with staff and young people in our Youth Foyer network.
By proactively listening to the network’s needs, ambitions and experiences; offering coaching and development opportunities; and guiding Youth Foyers through our accreditation programme, you will support services to develop and deliver transformational opportunities for young people who can’t live at home.

Job Summary
The Senior Partnership Officer will play a pivotal role in building, strengthening and diversifying Bipolar UK’s high‑value relationships, with a particular emphasis on corporate fundraising and identifying strategic, mutually beneficial collaborations that support the charity’s long‑term needs.
Working closely with the Strategic Partnership Manager, you will manage and grow our portfolio of major donors, corporate supporters, and strategic partners. You will provide exceptional stewardship, ensuring partners feel valued, engaged, and inspired to deepen their relationship with us.
