MCKS Charitable Foundation UK is an ambitious and rapidly growing charity supporting schools and communities across the UK through school pantry programmes, breakfast clubs and wider wellbeing initiatives that help children and families experiencing food insecurity.

We currently support around 180 schools nationally, with a long-term vision to expand to 500 schools and beyond.

As part of this exciting growth phase, we are investing in two of the charity’s first full-time paid roles to help build the next stage of MCKS’ fundraising, partnerships, impact and operational infrastructure.

The Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising Manager will work very closely alongside our Schools, Community & Impact Manager, with both roles playing a key part in helping shape the future growth of the charity.

Together, these roles will help strengthen supporter engagement, develop partnerships, improve impact reporting, increase fundraising income and expand the charity’s national reach.

This is a genuinely hands-on opportunity to help build something meaningful from the ground up. Whilst significant growth and development is already underway, the charity is still evolving its infrastructure, systems and processes. This is not a role for someone who only wants to sit behind strategy documents.

About the Role

Working closely with the charity’s leadership, trustees and Schools, Community & Impact Manager, you will help develop and deliver a diversified fundraising and partnerships strategy that supports the charity’s ambitious growth plans.

This is a varied, fast-paced and hands-on role where you will focus on developing corporate partnerships, securing fundraising income, supporting campaigns and events, and helping strengthen the charity’s fundraising infrastructure for future growth.

Alongside longer-term relationship building, we are keen to see visible fundraising activity, momentum and new opportunities generated within the first year.

We are seeking a fantastic corporate partnerships manager to join our Income Generation team. This is a key role for the organisation, proactively leading on new business; delivering mid and high-value partnerships and maintaining a healthy and active pipeline of new prospects to support the long-term sustainability of our work. The successful candidate will develop compelling proposals and pitches to build new relationships and provide excellent stewardship for existing corporate partners. They will manage and deliver the Income Generation strategy, annual operational plan, and income forecasting and develop accurate annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against plan and meeting KPIs and targets.

Supporter Engagement & Fundraising Communications Manager — Go Beyond £35,000–£37,000 | Fully Remote | Permanent | Full-time

Go Beyond has given over 21,000 vulnerable children life-changing residential breaks since 1994. Young carers who spend their days looking after parents. Children living in poverty for whom a school holiday means hunger, not adventure. Children who've been bullied or bereaved and need a week away from their ordinary life.

The charity is entirely self-funded. £1.8 million a year, every penny raised by supporters. No government money. Which means the work this fundraising team does is directly and specifically what makes those breaks possible.

This is the role that sits at the heart of that.

What makes this moment unusual:

Go Beyond's flagship campaign, Ice Cream Moments, launches this summer — backed by Louis Theroux, James Acaster, David Gower and Jenny Agutter. The trustees want to go viral. A legacy programme is built and ready to launch. An alumni programme connecting with 21,000+ former beneficiaries is research-complete and waiting for someone to open the door. And a loyal supporter base of 200–300 regular givers — many of whom have been giving for over a decade — is generating £90,000 a year with almost no stewardship behind it.

What the role involves:

The Supporter Engagement & Fundraising Communications Manager will own the supporter communications function end to end. This is a project management and strategy role — not an execution role. The doing sits with two direct reports and a network of freelancers. Your job is to build the plan, manage the team, deliver the campaigns and make sure the data tells you what's working.

In practice that means:

• Building and managing proper supporter journeys for regular givers, challenge event runners and Ice Cream Moments donors
• Project managing the full campaigns calendar — four annual appeals, Ice Cream Moments, challenge events, and a growing digital communications programme
• Developing and implementing a data strategy, setting up income dashboards and overseeing the CRM
• Launching the legacy programme and, in time, the alumni programme

This is not a pure fundraiser role or a pure marketing role. It's a hybrid — and the right person will see that as a feature, not a confusion.

• A track record of owning campaigns end to end — not being part of them, owning them. Specific examples, with dates, outputs and results
• Genuine data literacy — comfortable in a CRM, able to run queries, understand segmentation. Not expert-level, but curious enough that you're never caught out
• Financial awareness — you ask what the target is before anything else. You work backwards from an income number

The Pepper Foundation is a local charity funding children’s hospice care at home, specialised play and family days for children living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. 

The Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser will be joining Pepper at an exciting time as we launch our new three-year fundraising strategy. Backed by committed investment and with full Board approval, we are delighted to be growing the charity to deliver sustainable income that directly supports local children and families with hospice care in the comfort of their own homes.

Working closely with the Head of Trusts & Foundations, you will play a pivotal role in increasing income from trusts and foundations by developing and managing a strong pipeline of funders, securing new grants, and building long-term relationships that lead to increased and multi-year support. You will research and prepare compelling applications to both new and existing funders, alongside producing timely, engaging reports that clearly demonstrate impact.

This role requires a highly organised and motivated individual with a passion for writing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional cultivation, stewardship and relationship management of trusts and foundations aligned with our mission.

Your work will directly support hospice at home care, specialist play services, and meaningful family days out for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions – making a tangible difference to families during the most difficult of times.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week working from home – applicants must live within Hertfordshire or Buckinghamshire (or surrounding counties)

• Work with the Head of Trusts & Foundations to agreed income targets and growth.

Sitting within the Community & Events Team, and more broadly the Income & Engagement Department, the Community Fundraising Officer plays a vital role in supporting the long-term growth, development, and delivery of Sands’ community fundraising activities.

This is a new role at Sands, and it is an exciting time to join our growing team. This role will support acquisition activity, national campaign delivery and provide outstanding stewardship to fundraisers, community group and Sands groups, maximising their fundraising efforts and strengthening their relationship to Sands. • Support the implementation of Sands’ regional fundraising model over the next strategy period, working with internal teams to establish ways of working, build best practice and, to identify opportunities for local engagement and increased income.

Supporter Stewardship & Relationship Management

• Deliver high quality, personalised stewardship for supporter led community fundraisers, community groups, schools, clubs and societies, ensuring supporters feel valued, inspired and supported throughout their fundraising efforts.
• Maintain regular communication with supporters via email, phone, and social platforms, ensuring prompt responses, clear guidance and automating where appropriate to improve efficiency.
• Provide proactive stewardship to high potential fundraisers and groups, helping them reach and exceed their targets.

You’ll be responsible for leading on a varied portfolio of fundraising activity, identifying new supporters, stewarding existing supporters and delivering community fundraising products and campaigns. 

Events and Community Fundraising is an established income stream at Breast Cancer UK but we know there is potential to grow, so we’re investing in proactively developing the area. This role is an opportunity for a talented fundraiser - with at least three years of experience working in Challenge Events and/or Community Fundraising and a strong track record of delivering results – to take a lead on these income streams and build something amazing. You’ll need a strong understanding of how to deliver excellent supporter experiences, and the ability to spot trends and opportunities aligned with our audiences and our brand, and capitalise on them.
