About the Service

We are seeking a Volunteer & Service User Involvement Administrator to play a vital role in supporting the implementation of our 5-year strategy, which places service user involvement and volunteering at its core. This role is key to ensuring that the voices of service users, volunteers, and women with lived experience of VAWG are actively captured, organised, and integrated into the development of our services, operational activities, and strategic direction.

About the Role

The key responsibilities of the Service User Involvement Administrator are:

• Provide high-quality administrative support to the Volunteer & Service User Involevment Coordinator across all areas of service user and volunteer engagement.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes for volunteers and service user involvement activities, including processing DBS checks, references, and welcome packs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on volunteer and service user engagement databases and spreadsheets.
• Prepare agenda’s, correspondence, newsletters, and recruitment materials as required.
• Assist in planning and coordinating events, focus groups, training sessions, consultations, and board meetings.
• Manage invitations, bookings, and logistics for internal and external meetings or workshops involving volunteers and service users.
• Take and circulate clear and concise minutes and action points.
• Draft and disseminate regular communications, including newsletters, reminders, surveys and feedback forms.
• Ensure information is accessible and aligned with Solace’s inclusive and psychologically informed frameworks.
• Manage the inbox of service user involvement and volunteer queries and escalate as necessary.
• Ensure all volunteer and service user information is managed confidentially and in line with Data Protection regulations.
• Keep volunteer and service user training, DBS, and participation records up to date.
• Support in monitoring engagement levels and preparing basic reports or summaries on SUI and volunteering.

Self Employed - Neonatal Lead

For Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, and Newham Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP)

Salary: £150 per day, with reimbursement of childcare and travel expenses (subject to policy)

Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust provides neonatal and maternity care for women and birthing people and their babies each year across Tower Hamlets, Newham, and Waltham Forest, providing all aspects of obstetrics and midwifery care in our labour ward, midwife-led birth centre and home birthing service.

TWN Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) listens to the experiences of women, birthing people and families, and brings together service users, staff and other stakeholders to plan, review and improve maternity and neonatal care. MNVPs ensure that service users’ voices are at the heart of decision-making in maternity and neonatal services by being embedded within the leadership of provider trusts and feeding into the Local Maternity and Neonatal System and Integrated Care Board. This influences improvements in the safety, quality, and experience of maternity and neonatal care. We work to ensure that every woman and birthing person on the maternity and neonatal pathway has a chance to have their voice heard. We do not speak for them.

We are recruiting a Neonatal Lead who brings the expertise of women/birthing people with lived experience of neonatal services at Barts Health NHS Trust into the heart of the development of every aspect of neonatal and maternity services at the trust.

The role of Neonatal Lead is key to providing inclusive and collaborative leadership and ways of working, ensuring that all women and birthing people and their families’ views are heard and acted on. This is an exciting opportunity to review, shape and improve services and make a real difference to women, birthing people and their families.

Healthwatch Newham (part of CB Plus), along with Healthwatch Tower Hamlets and Healthwatch Waltham Forest, has been commissioned by NHS North East London ICB since 2023 to manage the MNVP in Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, and Newham (TWN), including staff employment.

We are looking for a TWN Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) Neonatal Lead who:

● Is passionate about helping to develop and improve the experience of neonatal (and maternity) services for babies and their families who require neonatal care.

● Is keen to engage families and seldom listened-to groups to inform neonatal and maternity service development.

Please note this role is for someone with lived experience and is not suitable for clinical staff (although they are welcome to join the MNVP in their professional role).

This is a self-employed position on a fixed-term contract until March 2026. The successful candidate will not be entitled to employee benefits such as pension, sick pay, or holiday pay.

As a self-employed contractor, you are responsible for managing your own tax and National Insurance contributions. You will be required to invoice the organisation for your work, and payment will be made within 21 days of receipt of a monthly invoice.

To manage, lead and support the Fundraising and Communications Team to retain donors, increase income and provide clear direction for our communications. You will be experienced in managing CRM systems (particularly Salesforce), data analytics, and optimising systems to improve performance and efficiency.

You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and actions. A deep understanding of cybersecurity, GDPR, data governance, and risk management is essential, as is a forward-thinking approach to emerging technologies, including AI and automation. We are looking for a team member who is passionate about applying therapeutic approaches in non-clinical group settings, can inspire and support young people to take the lead in devising their own work, and committed to delivering wellbeing through creativity. You’ll bring a therapeutic lens to help shape a pioneering new school engagement project, developed in partnership with local primary and secondary schools and youth clubs. Project Overview

The Inspiration Academy will support Years 6-8 to engage with education, strengthen attainment and wellbeing, develop leadership skills, and build a sense of belonging. It is part of a new Belonging Partnership which represents a unique opportunity over 3 years to make a difference to young people during one of the most challenging periods of their lives. The partnership will enable us to track progress and share practice, with multiple perspectives available to assess how young people have benefited, including teachers and parents/carers. We know how rare such opportunities are and we are therefore hugely excited about it.

DreamArts’ contribution to the partnership is the Inspiration Academy, designed to reach 150 pupils in 5 primary schools annually. Of these, 30 young people identified as at-risk of disengagement receive tailored group-based support as they transition to Pimlico Academy.  

Year 6 students from partner primaries will choose and explore a meaningful issue and lead a creative campaign for their school community. Those at risk of disengagement will work alongside peers, taking on positive roles that reshape their self-perception.

A week-long summer intensive will equip at-risk students with a ‘toolkit’ to navigate the academic, social, and emotional challenges of secondary school. Once at Pimlico Academy, they’ll train as Inspiration Ambassadors, delivering workshops to future cohorts.

Additionally, Family Express will provide parents/carers with a creative space to explore challenges alongside their children and other families, strengthening relationships and resilience. Through these opportunities, young people will be supported to build a sense of belonging within their schools and within their wider community.

Responsibilities

The Project Therapist will work alongside the Project Lead and provide a group-based creative therapeutic approach to the planning and co-delivery of the Inspiration Academy. You will help identify mental health and educational needs and co-develop strategies for reducing barriers to participation so that young people can:

· Explore who they are

· Build positive relationships with peers and adults

· Improve their sense of belonging within their school community

What will I be doing?

• Leading on the delivery of campaign set up, development and launch across multiple channels (including ALT digital channels, telemarketing, direct mail, email, social)

• Translating cross-channel integrated briefs into production specific briefs, leading on the delivery of data and digital campaign set-up requirements in collaboration with a number of internal teams

• Taking responsibility for the content and creative production process, working with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling creative across a range of channels

• Leading on in-campaign reporting and post-campaign analysis, sharing recommendations for optimisation and to improve the effectiveness of future campaigns

• Working with UX experts to devise pre-launch test and learn initiatives, using results to recommend areas for optimisation
