Job description

Harris Hill is delighted to be supporting a leading national charity in its search for a Projects Officer to join its Carer Services team.

Location: Hybrid, London
Contract: Part-time, 21 hours per week, 1-year fixed term
Salary: £35,629 FTE, inclusive of London Weighting (pro rata)

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of projects that improve services, resources and support for unpaid carers.

Reporting to the Head of Consultancy and Services, you will support a range of projects across project management, co-production, content development, and monitoring and evaluation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project planning, delivery and coordination.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Maintaining project plans, records and risk registers.
  • Supporting meetings, reporting and budget monitoring.
  • Designing and delivering co-production activities with carers and stakeholders.
  • Developing surveys, focus group materials and other research tools.
  • Supporting data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Contributing to the development of guides, videos and e-learning resources.
  • Supporting project monitoring, KPI tracking and evaluation.

You will have:

  • Experience in project planning and delivery, including stakeholder management and budget monitoring.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research and analysing and presenting findings.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, databases and email systems.
  • Experience with SurveyMonkey would be desirable.
  • An understanding of the challenges faced by unpaid carers would be advantageous.
