St Luke's is a small charity that works collaboratively to support clergy wellbeing. Our trustees play a vital role in shaping our strategic direction. safeguarding our mission and ensuring we continue to respond effectively to the evolving wellbeing and mental health needs of those we serve.
As a trustee, you will contribute to governance, provide oversight and support the long-term sustainability of the charity. We usually have three scheduled online meetings, and one in-person meeting a year with other ad-hoc meetings as required.
All trustees are expected to engage in regular email communication and respond promptly to requests and decisions.
As a charity working within the Anglican Church, we ask that our trustees have a personal Christian faith, along with a good understanding of the Anglican church and the issues facing clergy today.

RCN Foundation
Trustees (Finance & Investment Expertise)
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Board of Trustees of the RCN Foundation, an independent charity that supports and strengthens nursing and midwifery to improve the health and wellbeing of the nation.
Since 2010, the Foundation has provided hardship, education, research and innovation funding to thousands of nurses, midwives, nursing associates and healthcare support workers across the UK. As the Foundation continues to deliver its ambitious strategy, we are seeking to appoint two Trustees with senior-level expertise in finance, accounting and/or investment governance to join the Board from April 2027. Trustee and Chair - Income Generation and Investment Committee

As Chair of the Income Generation and Investment Committee, you will provide leadership and oversight across the Foundation’s investment portfolio, fundraising activity and wider income generation strategy. You will support the Board in ensuring the Foundation’s long-term financial sustainability and will also represent the Foundation on the RCN Group Audit Committee.
Trustee - Finance & Investment
You will bring senior financial leadership experience, with expertise in areas such as finance, accounting, investment management or financial governance.
You will provide support and constructive challenge on matters including financial sustainability, investment performance, reserves and longer-term planning, contributing to the work of both the Board and the Income Generation and Investment Committee.

Tenure, Time Commitment and Process

LAH is a community-led charity driven by and for Latin Americans in the UK. About the role
This is a voluntary, non-executive governance role with a time commitment of just 2 to 3 hours per month. As Finance Trustee, you will Chair our Finance and Fundraising Sub-Committee, providing board-level oversight of LAH's financial health: reviewing management accounts, scrutinising budgets and forecasts, ensuring our financial controls are robust, and supporting the wider Board of Trustees at Latin American House to understand financial risk and sustainability.
You will work closely with LAH Director and finance team, contributing to the approval of annual accounts and budgets, and ensuring we meet our Charity Commission and Companies House obligations.
This is strategic oversight, not day-to-day operations - the hands-on finance work stays with our staff.

You will have a direct Latin American background, this is a requirement of LAH's governing documents, alongside experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, or financial management. You do not need prior trustee or charity experience. What matters is integrity, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine commitment to the communities LAH serves.

Duties of trustees & directors
- Support and direct Change Agents UK’s vision, goals, strategy and activities.

As a Climate Ambassador, you would be joining thousands of volunteers supporting the Department for Education’s Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy, launched in 2022.
Climate Ambassadors offer free support to nurseries, schools and colleges across England to develop and implement a climate action plan. This framework helps education settings evaluate and address key action areas – adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity, climate education and green careers, and decarbonisation.

Correspondents will play a key role in shaping and sharing the stories behind our sustainability initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working alone or in pairs; introduce campaigns to stakeholders/public, research, plan, compose and execute interviews and features (text, audio, video as applicable)
- Conducting interviews with project leads, community members, partners, special guests, advisors and beneficiaries; for public events, public engagement, award ceremonies, campaigns
- Recording high‑quality audio and video content in the field (public places) or remotely.
- Editing interviews and project footage into clear, engaging, and professional media outputs.
- Creating compelling written and visual content for social media, newsletters, and other organisational platforms.
- Managing the publication of content across our digital channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with our mission.
- Collaborating with multiple project teams, selecting assignments based on your availability and areas of interest.
- Maintaining organised media archives and ensuring all content adheres to ethical and brand guidelines.
What are we looking for?

The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust (JSAWT) is seeking new Trustees to join its dedicated and collaborative Board.
What we do:
JSAWT supports UK-registered charities that rescue, rehabilitate, release, and rehome animals by providing vital grant funding.
We focus on smaller organisations—where our support can make a real difference—helping transform the lives of animals and the people who care for them. From volunteer-led hedgehog rescues to international wildlife conservation initiatives, our work spans a diverse and inspiring range of causes.
Applications are reviewed three times a year by the Board of Trustees. Awards are given on a case-by-case basis to charities that meet our criteria and clearly demonstrate how the funding will benefit animals in their care.

Terms:
- Three Board meetings are held in March, July/August, and November. The meetings are held at the London office. They are usually in the afternoon and can last 4-5 hours.

- The office has step free access and is all on one level.
- There may be occasional sub-committee meetings or events (virtual or in person).
- Reasonable expenses incurred by attending meetings (or other agreed work) may be reimbursed: for example, travel, subsistence, and childcare.
- The initial term is three years, with the option of renewal for a further three years.

Play Area Maintenance Volunteer
About The Role
Washington’s amazing inner grounds have a lot of infrastructure which requires regular maintenance. By volunteering your time with us you will be helping to ensure that Washington’s play area is maintained to the highest standard for our visitors, helping families make memories in our amazing wetlands.
What will you be doing?
- This role will be varied, and will involve a lot of daily maintenance/minor repair of the play area, including:
- Inspection of play area to identify work required and ensure it is in working order (training will be given in line with our Play Inspection system)
- Cleaning of play equipment and ground surfaces using brushes, mobile jetwash and environmentally safe detergents
- Raking and replenishment of woodchip and sand
- Weeding of play area
- Identifying and undertaking minor repairs of equipment and pathways within the play area
- Managing vegetation around the play area and its pathways
Volunteers are an essential part of the WWT team. You’ll get a warm welcome, including information on training, equipment and anything else you need.

About You
Who are we looking for?
- Someone who should be committed to good customer service and willing to engage our visitors with the work of WWT.

- Proactive and able to work with a minimum of supervision, under the direction of the grounds team.
- Must have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
