About The Role

Are you looking for a leadership role where you can make a real difference to dementia services across Belfast and can support our wider work across Northern Ireland?

We’re excited to offer an opportunity as Local Services Manager for Belfast. This is a 25 hours per week home-based role, but you’ll need to travel regularly across the region for meetings, engagement activities, and partnership work. Mileage claims will be paid from your door if you live in Belfast or the Belfast border if you live outside of Belfast.

You’ll work closely with other Local Services Managers across Northern Ireland to oversee delivery across the region. Your responsibilities will include managing contracts, leading a team of Dementia Advisers, a Singing for the Brain Leader, and oversee a Carers Information and Support Programme, to ensure services align with our Help and Hope strategy and organisational values.

About you

You will have:

- Experience in managing or supporting service delivery, ideally within health, social care or community settings or transferable experience from related sectors.
- Experience in leading teams and managing contracts.
- Passionate about improving services for people affected by dementia and committed to our values.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across a dispersed team.
- Have organisational and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and monitor performance.
- Be able to travel regularly across Belfast and maintain a strong local presence.
- Experience of utilising volunteer effort to enhance service output and to increase local presence

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing and monitoring the Regional Partnership Board contract as part of the Memory Support Pathway.
- Leading and supporting a team of Dementia Advisers, a Singing for the Brain Leader, a Carers Information and Support Programme facilitator and volunteers
- Working closely with other Local Services Managers and Local Communities and Volunteering Lead to ensure seamless delivery across Belfast and wider Northern Ireland.
- Building relationships with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and wider partners in the Belfast area and beyond to enhance collaboration, positively influence and to promote our work as a charity.
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen services and improve outcomes for people affected by dementia.

About the Role

As a passionate professional in the identification, development and management of a wide range of relationships in support of our programme partnership, you will ensure the Career Ready programme in Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire continues to thrive, which includes securing charitable donations from supporting partners. You will work closely with our Programme & Partnerships Manager for Glasgow, in support of our work growing there.

This role requires experience of partnership and account management and the scale and ambition of our social mobility work means you will need to be well organised, confident and able to positively influence a wide range of people including headteachers, teachers, CEOs and HRDs.

You will identify and approach opportunities that are well researched and pursue with unswerving perseverance. It’s also a great chance to develop personally.

Programme & Partnership Managers lead the delivery of our programme locally. In this role, you’ll grow, develop, and maintain the employer and education partnerships that make the Career Ready programme work — including our Local Advisory Boards, Local Authorities, school coordinators, the Developing the Young Workforce Regional Group, and the employers and volunteers who provide mentoring with the accompanying paid internship, deliver engaging masterclasses, and support events.

Once you’re confident in what, why, when, and how of our work, you will:
1. Lead, grow, and strengthen the Career Ready partnerships in Renfrewshire & West
Dunbartonshire.

You’ll ensure an excellent programme experience for all stakeholders and secure employer engagement for approximately 60+ students each year (with growth expected) who take part in our 18-month programme. This includes ensuring
sufficient mentors with the accompanying paid internship, high-quality masterclasses and purposeful events.

2. Support programme delivery, stakeholder engagement and the generation of new programme and funding partnerships across Renfrewshire & West Dunbartonshire. 

You’ll work closely with the Career Ready Glasgow & West Areas Local Advisory Board, the Programme & Partnerships Manager for Glasgow, the Head of Programme & Operations, the Scotland Partnerships Manager, Partnerships Lead, and your fellow Programme & Partnerships Managers — all committed to delivering quality, impact, and sustainability. You’ll also collaborate with the Scotland Operations Team to
ensure accurate data, strong processes, and effective management information for the area.

• £36,000 - £39,870 DOE (pro rata for part time)

We are looking for a Prevention and Intervention Programme Manager to line manage the Advisors (Sexual Violence Liaison Officers) and be responsible for an SVLO programme to support students who have experienced sexual violence, sexual harassment, gender-based violence and/or domestic abuse at any point in their lives. The Programme Manager will need to work closely with the Advice Service Manager to support the Specialist Advisors in working alongside the generalist advice provision. The Programme Manager will oversee the Active Bystander Programme as well as the expansion of new and existing programmes, including developing personalised packages for departments and an attractive offer for external partner organisations. 

Have you got demonstrable experience of working with individuals who have experienced one or more of the following: sexual violence, harassment, gender-based violence or domestic abuse? Have you got an understanding of the impact of sexual violence and sexual harassment on survivors, and how to support them with a trauma informed approach? Our ideal candidate will continue to develop and embed the trauma-informed Consent and Tackling Sexual Misconduct strand to enhance and grow the Active Bystander Programme. The right candidate will scope and develop propositions for new and innovative prevention and intervention programmes. Principal responsibilities and duties

Budget Management

• With the Head of Comms & Individual Giving, set annual budgets and programmes of activity, actively monitoring performance against these and adapting approach as necessary
• Plan, monitor and control expenditure as appropriate and manage income against set budget, KPIs; providing regular revised projections and narrative for the Senior Leadership Team and trustees as required
• Analyse individual giving performance, reporting as required and using the results to improve practice, including evaluation of cost effectiveness and sustainability

Communicating and building relationships

• Cultivate and steward meaningful relationships with individual donors to maintain their engagement and support and ensure a stable and growing donor base

• Promote and manage our in-memory products, enabling donors to remember their loved ones whilst supporting Willow
• Develop a regular giving programme, executing strategies to acquire, retain, and upgrade individual donors
• Grow our legacy programme and increase the number of people leaving a gift to Willow
• Develop our digital fundraising programme, bringing more supporters online

Data management

• Utilise the charity database (RE NXT) to track donor interactions, manage gift processing and generate reports for analysis and decision making
• Work with the Finance Team, Data & Insight Officer and Supporter Care Officer to ensure accurate data recording
• Use data to identify areas of prospective growth and build plans to deliver these
• Adopt a data-led fundraising approach, segmenting data and using supporter journeys to maintain engagement and speak to people about the right products for them
• Monitor donor attrition and implement measures to mitigate disengagement

• Build excellent working relationships with colleagues across the organisation, creating processes that support efficiencies and collaborative working
• Work with office volunteers to ensure administrative or support tasks are completed in a timely manner

Person Specification

Experience

• Experience working in individual giving fundraising with an excellent working knowledge of donor recruitment, retention and development
• Experience of designing supporter journeys that engage, retain, and inspire donors
• Experience of preparing and managing annual plans and budgets
• Proven project management experience, including design, print and mailing processes
• Experience of working with a CRM system (we use RE NXT) and digital fundraising tools
• Experienced in using data and insight to inform decisions and optimise activity

Knowledge

• Knowledge of fundraising laws and regulations in relation to data protection and compliance
• Knowledge of the Fundraising Regulator and Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice

Who we are

Every year, thousands of people in the UK face court alone. Often through no choice of their own, people must represent themselves at a moment that could have life-changing outcomes. This includes loss of access to children or homelessness. At the same time, people facing court alone may find themselves up against a party with legal representation. We supported unrepresented litigants in the civil and family courts in England and Wales over 45,000 times last year.

We provide a safe space with volunteers who listen to each client’s individual story. Last year, over 1000 volunteers helped people to get their thoughts in order, problem-solve and decide next steps, source relevant and reliable legal information, explain complex procedures, complete court forms, and clearly present statements.

We’re looking for a Communications Manager to join our team for maternity cover. You’ll be stewarding our 25th anniversary communications plan and helping us to connect with our stakeholders, especially with those in the legal sector. Primary Purpose:

• In-line with the organisation’s strategy, prepare an annual plan of activity for all areas of responsibility identifying resource implications.

We’re looking for a Senior Impact and Learning Manager to help us provide effective impact measurement and learning support for London Sport’s Place Universal Offer (PUO) programme funded by Sport England. The work will also support the delivery of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) in three Place Based delivery areas (Enfield, Lambeth, and Newham).

In the role, you’ll report to the Head of Impact and Learning, and work alongside Insight and Impact colleagues to take ownership of four main workstreams:

• Development, championing and delivery of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) of the PUO programme. (Workstream 1)
• Oversight and project management of delivery of MEL supporting the roll out of the expansion of place-based working in three areas – Enfield, Lambeth and Newham. (Workstreams 2-4)

About You:

• You have excellent understanding and evidenced experience of delivering impact measurement and evaluation practices.
• You will be able to evidence your experience in designing and applying appropriate and proportionate MEL approaches, tools and methods to embed project impact measurement and evaluation to maximise learning.
• You will have significant previous experience of independently commissioning and managing external contractors.
• You have a strong understanding of, and high-level skills in, qualitative and quantitative research and analysis techniques with the ability to synthesise data from a range of sources.
• You will have strong experience of coaching/teaching others to support the development of MEL leads.
• You enjoy working with others and helping them learn. You can build rapport and develop positive relationships with colleagues as a basis for providing support and deliver workshops helping others improve their skills/understanding of MEL.
