OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The Fundraising Executive will provide essential operational support to the Fundraising Team, with primary responsibility for maintaining accurate, timely and useful information in our CRM system, Donorfy. The postholder will process and reconcile donations, maintain high-quality supporter records, coordinate prompt and personalised donor acknowledgements, and produce clear insights to support fundraising decisions across Helen Bamber Foundation and Asylum Aid.
We are looking for someone who is methodical, numerate and detail-focused, with the confidence to work across a CRM, banking and income records. They will combine excellent data discipline with warm donor care, helping colleagues use Donorfy consistently and sharing regular reports, trends and actionable insights with the Fundraising Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career in charity fundraising operations. The Foundation for Jewish Heritage is seeking to engage an experienced Learning and Engagement Consultant to support their project Preserving Jewish Heritage, Promoting the Hidden Jewish Story in the year-long Development Phase of its project and for the first six months (of a five-year programme) of the Delivery Phase of the project. The Consultant will support and advise the Synagogues in this first pilot on activities/outreach and education, ultimately creating a framework for future use as a core part of this programme. The role will report to the Project Development Officer. The Project Development Officer is currently being recruited and will be responsible for the set up and day to day running of the project.
The Foundation’s work to date has demonstrated a significant gap in provision for historic synagogues. There is a clear need for a more defined and comprehensive support function for the UK synagogues sector: one that offers a professional, accessible and user-friendly service; guides and empowers synagogue communities; helps ensure synagogue buildings are well maintained, resilient and future-proofed, including in response to the climate emergency; and supports synagogues to engage more effectively with wider society. As a Peripatetic Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA), you will provide front line support across Advance’s domestic abuse services, covering vacancies across teams to ensure service delivery remains effective and consistent. You will cover a range of roles all involving advocacy and support of people experiencing domestic abuse; some roles may also involve co-locating with partner agencies, delivering training or undertaking triage and assessment work. Your office location and pattern of work will change depending on your placement however all roles offer the opportunity for some hybrid working.

Working with the expert volunteers in the Methodist Heritage Committee and teams at our heritage sites, as well as Connexional (national) staff team colleagues in archives, property and communications, for example, you will be someone who can ensure coordinated best practice for the Church in heritage management in relation to historic properties, advise on collection care and develop engaging interpretation and outreach.
This role has an occupational requirement to be a practicing Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
We are also open to considering remote/homeworking arrangements (salary may vary accordingly).
