We are currently finalising our next Forward Plan, with an ambition to create an inclusive, vibrant community, committed to everyone having a fair chance to discover who they are and what they can become.  We currently work with children and young people aged 5 to 30. 

Our priority programmes include support coaching for young people, community activity sessions, sustaining our accommodation provision for vulnerable young adults and establishing how we can best support more young people on the homelessness pathway.  We have some great spaces that are in need of development, and we expect that both capital and revenue funding will be included in your workload. We also look for smaller grants during the course of the year, including for food for our residents and supplies for our art groups, and we hope to recruit volunteers to assist with some elements of this work.

The core of your role will be in generating funds from trusts and individual giving, with other fundraising and communications tasks included as time permits. 

- 

• To create and update cases for support for YMCA Doncaster’s fundable projects and general running costs.
• To be responsible for an assigned portfolio of trusts, foundations and similar, developing knowledge of, and relationships with, those funders.
• To make strong applications to funders within the assigned portfolio, matching YMCA Doncaster’s agreed cases for support with funders’ interests and requirements.
• To create, publicise and monitor outcomes of giving campaigns and / or fundraising events. 
• To nurture key external stakeholders including potential supporters from the local business community, the media and others as appropriate.
• To prepare and give presentations, maintain ongoing contact and host trustee or representative visits where required as part of fundraising work.
• To devise and oversee efficient evaluation and monitoring systems which meet funder requirements.
• To keep comprehensive records, in an established format, from initial contact with a potential funder through to either the rejection correspondence or the funding agreement and subsequent monitoring and evaluation.
• To ensure that staff and volunteers joining YMCA Doncaster are encouraged to contribute to positive communications and fundraising efforts.
• To supervise / oversee volunteers and less experienced staff engaged in fundraising work. 
• To comply with fundraising and other legislation relevant to the role.
• To report to the Chief Executive monthly in the required format.

About This Job

This is an exciting role in Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK to be the focal point for HR support, organisational planning and recruitment. Post Title: Director of Clinical Services - Psychotherapy

Reporting to: CEO

Line Management Reports: Clinical Managers, Outreach Therapist/s, and support staff.

Purpose of Post: To provide organisational governance and strategic leadership to the Board/Trustees, and CEO as a member of icap’s Executive team.  To develop and ensure implementation of icap’s clinical strategy ensuring good governance of clinical standards and resources.

Lead and represent an experienced clinical team within icap and externally. To work with and support the Clinical Managers and other clinical staff with the day-to-day management of the clinical service.

Terms:  Permanent

Salary£56,800 pro rata plus pension

Hours: Minimum 0.6 – 0.8 FTE, 21 - 28hrs per week (open to negotiation), hours by arrangement to include some hours on 4-5 days each week; the post requires some pre planned out-of-hours work and travel.Our offices are open between 09:00hrs - 19:00hrs on 3 days and 09:00 -17:00 two days each week. Volunteers support our reception function on extended opening hours (after 5pm).

Location:  London; some travel to detached sites in London, Birmingham, and across the country to other operational sites (Irish Centres) where the organisation is providing services. On site working required with opportunity for limited hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Functions

 Working with the Board/ Trustees to develop ICAP’s clinical strategy including:

- Reporting to icap’s Board, on progress against icap’s clinical and operational strategy,

- Preparing Board Reports and Risk Register

- Deputise for the CEO.

Work with CGSC chair and trustee members to:

- Develop clinically appropriate Policies, Procedures and Processes. Promote a culture of learning within the clinical team, ensuring therapists are up to date and engaged with data collection, reporting and monitoring.

- To pro-actively participate as a member of icap’s Executive Team, attending board meetings, Clinical Governance Sub Committee meetings and a regular calendar of fundraising events

 Clinical Facing function:

Work with the Clinical Managers to support them with the day-to-day management of the clinical service.  Line Management oversight of the Supervision function of the organisation. Act as the DSL for Adult Safeguarding including the training, risk management, recording and reporting of all safeguarding activity. Ensure icap’s strategic objectives are understood and supported across the Clinical service. Review the Client Contribution policy to include full cost charging for services.

Oversee the Implementation and roll out of CORE CMS across the service. (New project)

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

 Clinical Leadership and Management experience in a small or similar organisation. Managing and working with minoritised or deprived groups with multiple barriers and limited access to psychotherapy. Experience of producing Board reports and working with commissioners, developing funding applications, and service level agreements for Clinical services. Experience of Clinical Governance and reporting targets and outcomes.

Training and 6+ years direct experience in using psychotherapeutic and trauma informed approaches with recognised post graduate psychotherapy qualification. Accreditation with either BPC, UKCP, BACP, ICP, NCPS and/or IACP. Evidence of up-to-date practice as recommended by relevant professional body.

Knowledge and experience of SharePoint and the Microsoft suite of tools.

Job Summary 

The Head of Student Representation is a critical member of the Students’ Union’s Delivery senior team and leads Durham SU’s work in influencing Durham University in students’ academic interests, through the support of student leaders and volunteers. The Head manages the Student Voice team, which coordinate support for academic representatives, and which provides policy advice to student leaders and the Durham SU senior staff.

The Head is also the operational lead for data protection, information governance, and data analysis. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties 

The Head of Student Representation is responsible for the performance, growth and sustainability of Durham SU’s professional staff team and volunteers, organised to support faculty and academic representatives.

In particular, the Head will: 

• Lead effective support for Durham student leaders who want to help make Durham University education better and fairer. 

• Anticipate and respond to student need in their education, seek and seize opportunity, and manage risk.

Executive and Finance Officer

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Executive and Finance Officer to play a vital role in the operations of Centre for Mental Health.

This varied and interesting role supports our CEO and Board, managing day-to-day operations and taking on key finance and HR responsibilities. This will include financial support: reconciling accounts, processing invoices, supporting our Board by organising meetings and helping with many aspects of recruitment, onboarding and assisting our staff team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our team’s success.

You will need to bring outstanding organisational skills, strong IT ability, and experience in financial processes (with knowledge of Sage 50). Experience of working in a charity is desirable.

The PA works closely with the SLT and will be handling confidential information, so the role requires someone who understands the importance of confidentiality, works with discretion, and always acts professionally. You will need excellent organisation skills and consider what information the SLT need to make the best use of each meeting and event. You should be able to manage busy diaries and multiple projects and tasks have a flexible approach prioritising and responding to requests as they present.

Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is looking for an Operations & Finance Officer to join our busy, friendly team in London. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have an essential and diverse role supporting the operations and administration of a ~£1.8m charity, which has ambitions to grow. You will support the Finance Director through payment processing, CRM management, IT management and HR support/ ensuring team well-being. You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, providing a critical ‘face’ and ‘voice’ for the charity.  You will be responsible for the smooth running and effective administration of the London office and delivery of our all-team Team Days and meetings. Key responsibilities:

• Support the securing of income opportunities by providing financial information for bids, grants, and applications.

• Work with the Senior Team and Finance Sub Committee to provide adequate procedures, measures, and systems of internal control appropriate for the nature and size of the charity and meeting statutory obligations.

• Produce accurate monthly/quarterly Management Accounts for the CEO and Senior Management Team, including commentary on significant areas and variances from budgets and Update monthly the cash flow forecast. 

• Manage the complete payroll process through QuickBooks and submit relevant deductions. 

• Complete monthly payments to HMRC, and year-end submissions in a timely, proactive and accurate manner and deadlines are met. 

• Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring authorised bills and invoices are recorded and processed on time.

• Enhance income streams, such as registering for Gift Aid and VAT etc. 

• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, identify and manage financial risks. 

• Undertaking administrative tasks as required, being hands-on and fostering a collaborative working environment. 

• Proactively monitor and evaluate activities within services business through the development and delivery of effective cross-service monitoring and evaluation, responding to issues and identifying and following-up on opportunities.

• Deputise for Director of Service and the CEO when necessary including attending meetings and preparing and presenting reports.
