We are the national charity focused on early diagnosis and prevention, working across all five gynaecological cancers.

Ask Eve is our nurse information service. It’s specialist, expert and free at the point of use for everyone who needs us. That’s anyone who has a question about the gynaecological cancers, their signs, symptoms or risk factors.

The demands on the service have grown hugely over the past three years and we are looking for a health care professional (from any relevant qualified background) who is looking for a move into a charity to provide direct information and support to patients.

We have exciting service developments ahead including the launch of a new AI tool.

What does this role do?

As Trusts and Foundations Officer, you'll:

• manage a personal portfolio of existing and new trusts and foundations ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey, which sets us apart from other charities in our sector and inspires trusts and foundations to contribute to our work,

About the role

Reporting in to the Individual Giving Lead, the Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer will drive the strategy and execution of Christian Aid’s individual giving acquisition efforts, ensuring high impact campaigns like Christian Aid Week, Christmas and Emergency Appeals effectively attract new supporters. Through compelling messaging and innovative approaches, foster long-term, sustainable relationships,
optimising channels, products, and engagement strategies to maximise supporter growth.

The post-holder will lead on Regular Giving acquisition recruitment across multiple channels to grow lifetime giving and increasing the Christian Aid supporter base. They will be leading a team of two Individual Giving Acquisition Officers and collaborating with senior leadership, manage budgets, forecast the performance of campaigns and ensure cost-effective delivery, all while championing the ‘Believe in the Possible’ proposition to inspire and engage the next generation of supporters.

About the role

We are looking for a Press Office Assistant to help us make, break and react to some of the biggest science stories in the national news. This is an office-based role in a fast-moving, open-plan team based in the Wellcome Collection building.

The Press Office Assistant will take responsibility for the logistics of this busy press office.  They will help the press officers to efficiently run multiple press briefings a week, monitor the media for controversial stories about science, and help to evaluate the impact of the SMC’s work.  This is not a Press Officer role, but everything you do will be aimed at supporting the SMC team at the SMC to ensure the news media get access to accurate, evidenced-based science when science is in the headlines.

About the role

The Executive Assistant to the CEO role involves:

• Coordinating and maintaining the CEO's diary including organising all appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
• Identifying, anticipating and preparing CEO information requirements for meetings, appointments and presentations, following up on internal and external requests for information.
• Managing all administration processes relating to the SLT.
• Supporting the CEO and the Fundraising Team with major donor management, including keeping contacts and actions updated, researching prospective donors, communicating with existing donors, coordinating thank you cards and gifts, and tracking secured donations.

Role Purpose 

The key responsibilities will include Project coordination, coordinating financial information, monitoring campaign activities, assisting with donor reporting and proposal writing, engaging with and coordinating EIA team members in planning, delivery and performance tracking, liaising with external stakeholders including donors and advocacy partners, supporting with the production of campaign and communication materials and providing support for organising workshops and events. 

Key areas of responsibility 

Finance

• Assist with budgets for all project-related activities, complete reconciliations and accurately reporting expenditure during trips
• Collaborate with Finance to support on campaign budget performance and donor expenditure 
• Support day-to-day financial processes, including preparing reports, processing invoices and responding to internal queries.
• Prepare and distribute monthly budget updates
• Track expenditure, ensure it is allowable under the campaign grant conditions and conforms with the terms of the various grant agreements
• Support with preparing budget forecasts, updates and maintain trackers
• Ensure timely and compliant processing of payments to consultants and partners
• Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant with audit requirements. 

Strategic Planning

• Contribute to the development of annual campaign plans and support in development of strategic goals, KPIs and budgets
• Contribute to the production and delivery of strategies as part of an integrated planning process involving all departments

Operational Management

• Assist with preparation of contracts for and manage sub-grants for partners and/or consultants, in particular ensuring donor and financial compliance and best practice grant management

Person Specification

• Proven experience maintaining project budgets, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring donor compliance in a non-profit or international development context.
• Experience assisting with the development of funding proposals, and liaise with donors.
• Experience contributing to strategic planning processes and coordinating multi-stakeholder campaign activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Smartsheet)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to grow support for our work in the UK and internationally. 

You will lead the implementation of our 2026–2028 fundraising strategy, develop compelling supporter journeys and creating inspiring propositions that connect donors with the difference their generosity makes. Working closely with the CEO, Senior Management Team and Fundraising Committee, you will bring focus, energy and professional fundraising expertise to a charity with a loyal supporter base and significant potential for growth. 

Key Details:

Location:  UK (Flexible: Remote or Hybrid if preferred). There will be a few in-person meetings/events in our London office or other specific venues each year, with flexibility to work where convenient (office or home) most of the time. 

Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (0.6 FTE). Flexibility over how hours are distributed across the week.

Salary:  £37,000 – £43,000 FTE, pro rata (c. £22,200 - £25,800 for 3 days per week), depending on experience

What You will do:

• Lead the delivery of HOPE worldwide UK’s fundraising strategy, with clear plans, priorities, KPIs and income targets.
• Develop a compelling case for support that inspires existing donors, re-engages lapsed supporters and reaches new and younger audiences.
• Design and deliver segmented supporter journeys across individual giving, regular giving, appeals and stewardship activity.
• Support the growth of sustainable income from high-potential streams including trusts and foundations, major donors, legacy giving, challenge events and corporate engagement.
• Work with programme colleagues to capture impact, develop strong donor reports and translate frontline insight into persuasive fundraising propositions.
• Oversee the effective use of the fundraising CRM, improving data quality, segmentation and insight-led decision making.
• Manage, mentor and encourage the Communications & Fundraising Team, creating clarity, focus and momentum.
• Ensure all fundraising activity is legal, ethical and compliant with the Code of Fundraising Practice, data protection requirements and internal policies.

• Communication: Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences (faith-based, secular, and younger donors). 

• CRM and Data: Confident user of a fundraising CRM, able to manage data, segment supporters and use insight to inform decisions.
