The Executive Assistant is a senior member of the Lead Bishop's Office, working closely with the Lead Bishop and Chaplain to extend and enable the Bishop's ministry and leadership across the Diocese of York. The CSP operates a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work between their home and the office. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the in-house payroll and pension functions at the Globe. Oversight and account management of four pension schemes (NOW pensions, Aviva, Equity, and Musicians Union) is also a key part of this role. The Payroll Manager works with Payroll Assistant and other key stakeholders across departments to create automated process, ensure appropriate controls are in place, problem solve payroll and pension queries, and to make sure our systems are working for the organisation.
The Payroll Manager is responsible for preparing payroll outputs and reports for review; ensuring that final authorisation, sign-off and release of payroll payments are forwarded timely to senior members of the Finance and People & Culture teams, in line with agreed controls and delegated authorities. The Payroll Manager escalates exceptions, narrative for variances, policy deviations and high-risk items for decision and approval.

Job Profile
This role will lead CAFOD’s policy and advocacy work aimed at tackling the global climate crisis. The post holder will have a solid understanding of debates around climate change, in particular how it impacts climate-vulnerable countries in the Global South. You will bring knowledge of the causes of the climate crisis, and its solutions, particularly global financing needs. Working closely with CAFOD’s overseas partners, and within UK and global networks, this role will hold policy expertise on behalf of the organisation. This will involve developing policy positions and representing the organisation externally. The role will work closely with CAFOD’s government relations and campaigns colleagues to lobby decision-makers and mobilise supporters as part of our climate justice work. Sitting within the Advocacy, Policy & Campaigns team, the role is managed by the head of department.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the development and delivery of CAFOD’s global climate justice advocacy strategy
Working in partnership with UK and global organisations to develop evidence‑based policy positions
Influencing UK, regional and global policy debates on climate change
Representing CAFOD in coalitions, to decision makers, in church networks and at international forums
Writing policy briefings, reports and communication outputs
Building relationships with external stakeholders and decision makers and UK and global levels
Ensuring advocacy is grounded in strong analysis, partner experience and a commitment to social and environmental justice
Supporting advocacy work of partners and global networks on debt cancellation and financial system reform
Providing strategic and technical advice across the organisation

Strong background working in climate policy and/or international development policy

Imperial’s Regular Giving and Legacy team is seeking a coordinator to support their fundraising programme. What you would be doing:
Imperial’s Regular and Mid-Level Giving programme raises funds to advance the work of the University. The programme focuses on using direct marketing such as direct mail, email and telephone campaigns to solicit support from alumni through regular donations, mid value gifts and gifts in wills. The team coordinator is the lynchpin of the programme and supports the team in all aspects of direct marketing fundraising and administration.
Duties and responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be wide-ranging, but the key duties are:
• Support the telethon fundraising campaigns, direct marketing fundraising appeals, and managing your own fundraising projects such as emails and social media.
• Act as first contact for all fundraising related queries (by telephone, email, post and in person); liaise across the team to draft and send appropriate responses.
• Collect, collate and manage case studies, including building relationships with students.
• Support the team with general administrative and office duties such as booking meeting rooms.
• Provide diary management and PA support to the Head of Regular Giving and Legacy Giving.
• Support with the team with budgets including raising PO’s and tracking invoices.

• Experience of working in a customer, alumni or donor focused environment.
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage a varied workload and a process led approach.
