We are looking for an awesome conference producer to grow our in person events offering for our community of Pupil Premium Leads across the 1,700 secondary schools in our network

Your role will be to produce face to face conferences that provide them honest, open and trusting spaces to share how they really achieve their results in practice.

What's the role?

Your job will be to produce in person conferences, with a difference, for Pupil Premium Leads in 

Events where practitioners don’t just share what’s worked but also what hasn’t. Openly and transparently.

The aim is to curate powerful and practical warts and all stories, which attendees can ask questions about and dig deep into each other's work.

  • Glossy key notes delivered by non serving leaders telling serving leaders what to do
  • Only sharing their successes
  • Surface level panels that don’t say anything of substance about how leaders do what they do
  • Lots of passive sitting and listening in big audiences
  • Not developing deep and lasting relationships between attendees
  • Where the events are geared entirely towards promoting products and services more than the amazing PPM leaders and their practice

On the speaker/content side, you’ll:

• research what’s important to Pupil Premium Leaders

• find serving Pupil Premium Leaders who have expertise in those areas

• Invite and book them to be speakers and

• support them to be their best on the day.

On the attendee/learning/ side, you’ll:

• communicate the offering

• design sign up and onboarding processes

• promote the event across our social media and email channels and

• ensure delegates have everything they need to get the best out of the event.

On both sides you’ll:

• lead the follow up and evaluation of the events.

On the partnerships side you’ll:

• generate leads from potential partners and sponsor

• contact them with information about sponsorship packages

• manage the relationships with partners

• Events where sponsors provide thought leadership not sales pitches​

• Emailing/messaging them to ask what they’ve had success with and need help with

• Creating a database of strengths and needs across the community

• Reading education press, policy and practitioner led blogs.

Finding, inviting and booking speakers

• Using national datasets to find schools and Pupil Premium Leaders who are succeeding against the odds

• Digging into PPM practice and Pupil Premium Leaders’ blogs/posts to build a list of possible speakers

• Crafting emails that invite Pupil Premium Leaders you may have never met to speak at the conference

• Following up and leading Pupil Premium Leaders through the speaker onboarding journey

Supporting speakers to be their best

• Designing editorial guidelines and communicating them with speakers

• Supporting them to find a focus for their sessions and feeding back on the content

• Gathering pre-event information such as speaker details, access need, session titles/objectives and resources etc

• Automating workflows and emails using Zapier and Airtable

• Sharing all pre-event information they need in good time

Designing attendee sign up and welcoming processes

• Designing and building pre-event registration processes and forms

• Gathering pre-event information from attendees eg attendee details, access/dietary needs and 

• Automating workflows and emails using Zapier and Airtable

• Sharing all pre-event information so they can get the most out of the conferences

Promoting the event across our channels

• Working with a designer to commission graphics

• Writing social media posts on LinkedIn and Twitter

• Working with the Pupil Premium Leaders who are speaking to write sharable, top of funnel social media posts that inspire, entertain and inform Pupil Premium Leaders

• Designing, writing building email workflows and drip campaigns in our CRM (Hubspot)

Ensuring delegates have everything they need to get the most out of the conferences

• Tracking and auditing that all delegates have shared required pre-event information

• Writing succinct emails which delivered at the right time in a way that respects their workload and capacity

Evaluating the success of the conferences.

• Designing and building post event evaluation forms

• Seek, gather and analyse customer feedback and user data to ensure member success.

• Tracking and auditing evaluation completion

• Following up with both speakers and delegates to maximise

What experience and track record do you have?

It’s not essential you tick every box. But the more boxes you can tick the better. It goes without saying, we can help you gain and learn from the experiences you haven’t had yet.

• Education and/or teaching: Knowing how the MAT and schools system works is a must. Knowing who does what PPM role in schools will help bring the right people in the right conversations and the right time. Knowing and understanding the kinds of problems and types of conversations school leaders and teachers is also essential for this role

• Conference production: researching topics, inviting and booking speakers, crafting promotional materials, shouting loudly and proudly about the events and filling up spaces.

• Project management: Planning, tracking and delivering on project objectives across several workflows on time, every time. Managing multiple audiences who are likely to be at different stages of their engagement cycle.

• Customer Relationship Management: designing, building and automating CRMs including sales pipeline design and management eg Hubspot and Airtable

• Copywriting (and digital marketing and email workflow design): designing and writing posts and emails that convert - whether than be speaker invitations, promotional posts or conference onboarding emails.

• Digital marketing integration and automation: integrating and automating digital marketing platforms like eg MailChmip, Hubspot, Airtable and Zapier. Automating drip campaigns and email workflows.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. 

This role will be prison based. The Role

The organisation is a Christian think tank which seeks a world in which Christian ideas about human flourishing are drawn upon to answer some of the world’s biggest challenges. The next few years will be critical in determining what kind of world we all live in. We need to urgently reverse the loss of wildlife and put nature into recovery at scale if we are to prevent climate and ecological disaster. The Landscape Recovery team was set up as a response to the urgency of the inextricably linked nature and climate emergencies. The purpose of this team is to encourage and facilitate cross-Wildlife Trust action on landscape scale recovery, inject the rewilding approaches into the work of the Wildlife Trusts, coordinate land management activities where scale-economies are clear and to substantially increase funding for nature’s recovery across the Wildlife Trusts. The team is developing a range of programmes where RSWT acts as a ‘collective vehicle’ for groups of Trusts. For example, RSWT is leading a programme of peatland restoration through the Precious Peatlands project. Opportunities for such programmes are increasing – the UK is at a tipping point where either wildlife continues to decline or we finally grasp the opportunities of nature’s recovery. 

About You 

Working closely with colleagues at the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts and with Local Wildlife Trusts, the Land Management Practice Officer will support The Wildlife Trusts Nature Reserves community of practice. This role will focus primarily, in the first instance, on supporting local Wildlife Trusts to reduce their pesticide use. 

The post will help Trusts develop and share knowledge, skills and capacity in the realm of pesticide use reduction and, where possible, also across other aspects of land management. This work will support Goal 1 – Nature’s Recovery – of the Wildlife Trusts’ Strategy 2030. 

You will be a highly organised, collaborative, and an experienced individual adept at managing customer focussed relationships. You will understand the needs of the Wildlife Trusts and the context in which they operate. We're looking for an efficient, friendly Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our award-winning charity.  The team is based at our busy community centre from where it offers a range of services from community meals, art classes to gardening services and digital support.  We support older and disabled people living in Fulham, London.  Much of our work is delivered by volunteers, so this post is critical to our service delivery. You will recruit, induct, and coordinate volunteers; including leading our Good Neighbours Scheme and Befriending Scheme and supporting the recruitment for all other projects. 

About you: You will have experience of volunteering and in coordinating volunteers or staff, and have strong organisational and communication skills. You will be pro-active and diligent and able to solve problems as they arise. ROLE DESCRIPTION  

As Finance and Operations officer, you will report to the Operations and Systems Manager and will be a key member of the Operations team. This role is vital to the support of the wider organisation, being the go-to person for financial, HR and IT enquiries. 

In this role at Get Further, you’ll have the opportunity to build on your operational experience within a dynamic and mission-driven charity. No two days are the same, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to a range of projects that help drive our work forward. Finance Administration 

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero, including importing and coding invoices for approval, raising sales invoices, and supporting bank reconciliation. 
• Prepare and issue contracts and invoices for colleges, freelancers, and central team members. 
• Manage credit control by coordinating weekly payment runs and liaising with debtors to ensure timely payment. 
• Prepare monthly payroll submissions, including reconciling tutor hours, holiday pay and training. 
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports for internal budget holders. 
• Assist with compiling financial information for the Fundraising Team as required. 

HR and Policy Administration 

• Help maintain our policy library, ensuring all charity policies remain compliant and up to date. 
• Keep the Employee Handbook current, reflecting the latest internal policies and procedures. 
• Assist the Operations & Systems Manager in planning and delivering our termly Team Days. 
• Coordinate staff benefits, including the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), staff training, pensions, Access to Work applications, and workstation assessments. 
• Working with Hiring managers for the central recruitment process to advertise roles, coordinating interviews and communications with applicants. 
• Onboard new starters, conducting all pre-employment checks, organising computers and equipment, arranging access to systems etc. 
• Managing reference requests for past tutors. 

IT and Equipment management 

• Support the Operations & Systems Manager in maintaining oversight of IT hardware, phones, and other equipment – including managing logistics and phasing out older kit. 
• Act as the first point of contact for the team on IT matters, liaising with our external IT provider and tracking outstanding tasks and support hours used. 

Office tasks  

• Liaise with the Charity we share offices with regarding office facilities and help maintain office supplies and equipment levels. 
• Manage keyholder records, ensuring an accurate log of staff with key and fob access to the office. 

General Administration 

• Monitor and respond to shared mailboxes, ensuring timely and appropriate handling of enquiries or redirecting them as needed. 
• Provide additional programme support where required – including booking conferences and ordering printed materials or resources. 
• Respond to internal queries and offer cross-team support on financial, HR, and IT matters.

We are looking for a suitably qualified person to join our team as HR Officer to promote good HR practice throughout the District and its constituent churches and Circuits. The HR Officer will provide expert advice for line managers and provide support for all HR matters, enabling all lay staff to flourish in their roles in addition to meeting statutory and Methodist requirements. This role will include working closely with the District Secretary and other members of the District Lay Employment Committee to develop policies and ensure these are implemented across the District.

Responsibilitied will include:

Recruitment and Induction

• As part of the District Lay Employment Committee, leading on providing support to employing bodies with the preparation of job descriptions, adverts, contracts, and interview processes.
• Supporting employing bodies with the implementation of Safer Recruitment procedures.
• Maintaining dialogue with employers to seek to ensure that required training, probationary periods and other standard procedures are implemented for new employees and line managers.

Advice and Guidance

• Give consistent advice to local churches, Circuits and the District on the full range of employment matters including recruitment, selection, induction, line management, discipline, grievance and redundancy.
• Deal with queries from lay employees regarding contracts, and associated human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
• In consultation with employing bodies, prepare and process associated paperwork for all changes in status of their employees (including recruitment, redundancy, changes in working hours etc) consistent with immigration (Right to Work), Connexional and District policies.  
• Identify the training needs of the District pertaining to HR and communicate these to the relevant parties.
• Develop and lead on training for line managers in collaboration with members of the District Lay Employment Committee.

Administration

• Maintain copies of relevant employment documents on behalf of employers.
• Arrange prior approval for all contracts, recruitments and redundancies from the District Policy Committee in accordance with Methodist Standing Order 438 A 
• With District Administrators, ensure that information regarding lay employees and line managers is maintained.

Policy and Oversight

• Support the District’s Lay Employment Advisor in their duties as described in Methodist Constitution Practice & Discipline
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to HR activities (grievances, performance reviews, contracts of employment etc.) within the District.
• Ensure that advisory information produced by the District remains relevant, accessible and meets current regulatory frameworks.
• With the District Secretary, monitor and develop district employment policies.
• Develop an awareness of Methodist Safeguarding practices, undergo relevant Methodist Safeguarding training, and understand how this applies to the context.

Main duties

Fundraising CRM Project Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
• Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.
• Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.

CRM and Data Management

• Maintain and improve the quality of supporter data through regular cleansing, deduplication, and tagging to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance.
• Working with data flows and setting up integrations, ensuring the system runs smoothly on an ongoing basis, making updates, troubleshooting issues whilst maintaining data consistency.
• Work with the Finance team to support integration between the CRM and finance systems for seamless donation and income reporting.

Data Selections, Segmentation and Campaign Support

• Collaborate with the Fundraising team to perform targeted data selections for appeals, newsletters, stewardship journeys, and events.
• Develop and maintain segmentation structures and logic to support personalised supporter journeys and strategic targeting.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide campaign-ready data for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement activities.

Reporting and Insight

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real time insight into fundraising performance, donor behaviour and campaign results.
• Create and deliver regular and ad hoc fundraising analysis to inform strategic decisions and performance tracking.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve donor retention, upgrade journeys and lifetime value through data driven insight.

Key responsibilities

• In conjunction with your Line Manager, continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
• Proactively flag any data integrity issues with Line Manager and help develop action plans as required.
• Participate in internal/external meetings as required, and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.
• Participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.
• Ensure that all The Passage’s policies and procedures are adhered to and contribute to the effective implementation of The Passage’s Diversity and Equality Policy as it affects both The Passage and its work with vulnerable adults.

The Projects Administrator will support the Projects Manager in identifying, evaluating and overseeing projects in Central Asia including Pakistan. Main duties and responsibilities

· Project Identification and Evaluation

o Focusing on Central Asia. evaluate project applications for alignment with BA's mission, feasibility, risks, issues, and impact. This includes assessing comprehensive project plans, their objectives, timelines and budgets.

o Form part of the disaster response team for Barnabas Aid

• Assist in identifying potential partners and projects that support persecuted and suffering Christians.
• Assist in demographic research on the region.

o Assist in presenting proposals to the Projects & Disbursement sub-committee for their deliberation and decision-making.

· Grant Administration

o Oversee the administration of the grant-making process, from initial proposal evaluation to monitoring and final reporting upon completion of projects.

o Ensure that approved projects comply with BA’s internal policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements in the UK and the partner’s country.

o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of funded projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and budgets.

· Stakeholder Engagement

o Support the Projects Manager in maintaining relationships with project partners and other key stakeholders.

o Communicate regularly with project partners to provide guidance and support during the application process, and implementation stage once proposals are approved.

 · Budget Administration

o Provide support in tracking the region’s budget and expenditures, to ensure financial accountability and transparency.

o Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports and updates for senior management and other stakeholders.

 · Reporting and Documentation

o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including agreements, reports, and correspondence.

o Maintain the projects database for all records related to the region and prepare reports as required.

We are now recruiting for a Lead Coach in Islington - an outstanding opportunity to work as part of a local church to deliver the Spear Programme.

You’ll be working with the local church to manage the delivery of Resurgo's award-winning Spear Programme. Over the last 20 years, Spear has supported more than 11,000 young people across the UK with the work-ready skills and mindset they need to succeed in employment, no matter the challenges they face. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.

Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]

• Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
• Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room.
• Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.

Delivery of Spear Career [20%]

• Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees.

Training the Asssistant Coach [10%]

• Contributing towards the training and developing of the Assistant Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback.

Trainee recruitment [10%]

• Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.

Continuous professional development

• Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and supporting the Church Partnerships Managers with overall team training and development.
