Feeling safe shouldn’t stop mattering when the day team goes home. At St John’s Mansions in Islington, you’ll provide a calm, consistent and reassuring presence throughout the night, helping to make sure clients feel safe, respected and supported in their home. As a Night Support Assistant, you’ll take responsibility for the safe and secure running of the service during your shift. At times you may be lone working, with buddy arrangements and SHP’s out-of-hours management support in place. Our client, Britain's oldest military organisation, is seeking an Assistant Membership Secretary to join its welcoming Court & Membership team. Combining a rich heritage with an active and engaged membership community, the organisation offers a unique working environment unlike any other organisation in London.
As the primary point of contact for members, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding membership experience. From managing member enquiries, subscriptions and renewals, to supporting governance meetings, coordinating membership events and overseeing onsite accommodation administration, this is a varied and highly visible position requiring professionalism, attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will support a membership of over 2,500 individuals, helping to ensure that every interaction reflects the high standards and traditions of the Company.

This role requires a minimum of three days per week onsite, together with flexibility to attend occasional evening events and ceremonial occasions throughout the year.
