Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Office Manager is responsible for the smooth running of our renovated, spacious open plan office, ensuring that it is welcoming, safe and inclusive. The postholder will lead on day-to-day office management, health and safety, and contribute to a high-quality employee experience in the office and working from home.
You should have demonstrable experience in office management and knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly about, property and office facilities management. You will be confident in managing Health and Safety in the workplace and maintaining supplier relationships. A person-centre approach and strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to prioritise effectively, are also key. The role involves managing a small portfolio of non-office properties, so an understanding of landlord responsibilities would be an advantage.
The role is part-time, 28 hours over 4 days per week. We would also be open to this being worked over 5 shorter days. The role is majority office based due to the responsibilities of the role, with a minimum 3 days per week in the office, with the option of some home working. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring in-person coverage across the working week in conjunction with a part-time Facilities and Office Assistant.

This role will lead and deliver two projects, the Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Young Adult Voices Project, and the General Synod Young Voices project, across which it will engage with a wide variety of young people.
The Net Zero Carbon Young Adult Voices project recognises that action to tackle climate change, as part of the wider environmental crisis, is important for young people, and responds to the fact that the NZC programme is not currently strategically engaging with these groups.
This project will involve:
- gathering the voices of young adults (18-30) to enable them to influence the direction of the programme and the Church's wider Environment Programme, ensuring their voice is heard at all levels of the Programme, and informs decision-making.
- communicating what the NZC programme is doing, to raise awareness amongst young people of the CofE's commitment to being a NZC church with these audiences, and to enable pathways for them to become involved in decarbonisation and other environmental projects at the local level.
- work with diocesan colleagues to enable the voices of young people to exercise leadership influence on NZC at a Diocesan level, as appropriate.
Important to the success of this role will be engaging with departments and stakeholders across the Church of England, to ensure this work sits within the broader context of the priority to be a church which is younger and more diverse.
As this is a new project and a new role, the postholder will help to shape the role. The initial focus will be to develop a NZC Young Adult Voices Strategy and Plan for sign-off by the NZC Programme Board, and then to work through delivery of this. This will need to consider the theology, mission and action that will engage and connect with young people - particularly exploring how we root this work in the spirituality and theology that is relevant for a younger audience.
The General Synod Young Voices project follows two motions passed at General Synod (in July 2024 and February 2025) committing General Synod to listening and responding to the voices of children, young people and young adults in every subsequent session. This project involves gathering the voices through schools, churches and Dioceses and enabling children and young people to speak and present each session at General Synod. In addition, it involves working with a group of young adults drawn from every diocese to run a programme of faith and leadership development that enables them to speak into General Synod at a national level, and exercise leadership influence at a Diocesan level as appropriate.
This is a fixed-term role until December 2028, with potential to extend, dependent on 29-31 Triennium Funding.

Leading the NZC Young Adult Voices Project

Overseeing the engagement of young adults with NZC Programme board meetings, supporting them to contribute regularly and effectively in a range of agenda items.

Create mechanisms to report back the work of the NZC programme to young adults, including developing an effective communications and engagement approach which responds to their needs, with the NZC Comms Lead.

Work with the NZC Programme Director, NZC Programme Manager and the National Environmental Policy Officer to progress this project, and more broadly with the NZC Programme Workstream leads across the NCIs

Working effectively with environment programme networks in dioceses
Work with the NZC Comms Lead to effectively disseminate case studies, resources and tools through wider networks and social media

- Modelling and implementing the highest standards of safeguarding in every aspect of the work, working with other safeguarding leads with NSE, National Safeguarding Team and external stakeholders' safeguarding provision

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. About the role
The Fundraising Strategy and Operations team delivers high quality operations support to the wider Fundraising Directorate including Strategic Liaison with Service teams, Compliance, Supporter Journeys and Communications, and Supporter Care.
The role sits within our friendly and dedicated Supporter Care team. In addition to providing operations support to the Fundraising Directorate, the team provides a high standard of customer service to Centrepoint supporters and members of the public.
The role works alongside two other Officers and the team Manager to help steward and grow our compassionate supporter base, securing Centrepoint’s long term future, and enabling us to reach our strategic goals through helping to maximise fundraised income and increase donor loyalty.
The role involves working independently, collaborating with colleagues and third-party suppliers, and using a variety of technical systems to fulfil a range of supporter-related responsibilities.
These include, but are not limited to, liaising with existing and prospective supporters, managing fundraising complaints, processing donations, processing supporter data; and ensuring all tasks are carried out in compliance with GDPR, Data Protection, and other regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with local delivery partners to support them in involving and supporting volunteers in their areas, while also developing engaging content for volunteer sessions.
You will also lead activity within the Blues Go Green funded programme, building strong relationships with partner organisations and attending regular partnership meetings. The role involves supporting the development and delivery of volunteering activity in public parks across the city, ensuring activities are well planned, inclusive and delivered safely. Gathering feedback from volunteers and using it to inform continuous improvement will be an important part of this work.
Alongside programme delivery, you will oversee marketing, communications and events linked to both programmes. This includes promoting opportunities to attract volunteers from across Birmingham, supporting partners with local promotion, and coordinating online and in-person inductions, engagement sessions and celebration events. You will also support financial monitoring and reporting, helping to track budgets, manage invoices and contribute to reporting against key performance indicators.

Before joining ClientEarth, Amy was the Head of Litigation at Altisource Portfolio Solutions in Luxembourg, where she managed a large and diverse portfolio of multinational cases. Prior to moving to Europe, Amy worked as a general commercial litigator at the global law firm of Squire Sanders (now Squire Patton Boggs) in San Francisco, California.
Main Duties
- Provide secretariat support to ClientEarth UK Board of Trustees, working closely with the Assistant to the CEO and Board to ensure the well-coordinated delivery of meetings, including coordinating and facilitating scheduling, forward planning, setting of agendas and invitations, and managing, filing, and maintaining all required documentation.
- Support the flow of relevant governance information between ClientEarth Group and ClientEarth Americas to maximise efficiencies and facilitate effective coordination.
- Coordinate the governance of all ClientEarth Group entities, working closely with the General Counsel, Heads of Country, in-country governance leads, and national Management Bodies to ensure the effective and aligned delivery of Group Governance Board and Management Body meetings, including supporting and coordinating with them on: scheduling, forward planning, setting of agendas and invitations, drafting resolutions, managing, filing, and maintaining all required documentation.

The Team Lead will manage and oversee a team of staff and volunteers supporting young people across Centre 33’s two hubs in our North Locality – in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Wisbech. The Team Lead will work closely with the other Team Leads and Heads of Service to jointly ensure our multidisciplinary teams deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people.
We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience working within a Mental Health, or youth work role, and with experience of managing people. The Team Lead will bring strong expertise and leadership to Centre 33’s mental health support offer for young people aged 13-25 years, leading the teams delivering counselling and the wider, flexible emotional wellbeing offer. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, case management, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will provide day-to-day designated Safeguarding leadership, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services. They will develop strong relationships with local organisations and statutory services to ensure effective joint working and support for young people. This role may deliver ad hoc case work to support young people with more complex needs but will hold only a limited ongoing, regular case load.
The hours of work for this role are predominantly within core opening hours of 10 to 6pm, with some evening/Saturday working based on a rota. Due to our service delivery, it is important that the Team Lead is available for hub-based work during our core working hours.

Purpose of the job

- Work with 20 farmers each year to reduce diffuse pollution at source and flood risk.
- Offer advice on nature-based solutions and grant funding to farmers and landowners.
- Plant 30,000 trees annually.
- Input and support the achievement of other applicable 5-year plan targets. i.e. River restoration and catchment scale monitoring.
- Increase Thames21 presence in the Thames Valley, identifying opportunities, supporting, and complimenting the work of other NGOs and regional Rivers Trusts.
The role is a relatively new area of work for Thames21 and may consist of supporting a range of projects and programmes including Catchment Partnerships, Farm Clusters and Natural Flood Management.
Finally, the postholder will take a lead in progressing Thames21’s resilience strategy i.e. working closely with the Fundraising Team, the Catchment Partnership Team, and partner organisations to increase private and public investment to deliver healthy resilient rivers and catchments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Role

About the role
Join us in building safer futures by giving a voice to male survivors of domestic abuse and strengthening professional awareness
This is a unique and rewarding role that combines direct survivor support, specialist partnership work, and awareness-raising in the community.
As part of our dedicated Domestic Abuse Service, you’ll focus on three main areas:
Supporting male survivors at standard and medium risk
- Provide one-to-one, trauma-informed support to men affected by domestic abuse.
- Complete risk assessments, safety plans and ongoing recovery-focused support.
- Help survivors build confidence, make safe choices and achieve long-term positive change.
Survivor support alongside the Your Choice Project (YCP)
- Work in line with Respect Standards, which ensure that survivors are supported while their partner or ex-partner attends the YCP behaviour change programme.
- Deliver specialist parallel support to male survivors, ensuring their voice, safety and wellbeing remain central.
- Collaborate closely with YCP colleagues to provide a balanced, holistic approach to safety and recovery.
Community outreach and awareness-raising
- Attend and run events across Nottinghamshire to connect directly with male survivors and the professionals who may encounter them.
- Deliver training and briefings to raise awareness of male survivors’ experiences and increase professional confidence in responding to them.
- Contribute to the development of innovative outreach strategies that challenge stigma and make services more visible and accessible to men.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in supporting people in crisis, ideally in domestic abuse or frontline services.
- Knowledgeable about the challenges and barriers faced by male survivors of abuse.
- Skilled in communication, problem-solving and building strong partnerships.
- Confident working with both survivors and professionals in community settings.
- Passionate about equality, inclusion and ending domestic abuse in all its forms.
