About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for Advocates to join and shape this service covering the Lambeth- Greater London area. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as clients’ homes, hospitals, care homes and within community settings across the area to meet with clients and professionals. You will be home based for administration; therefore the ability to confidently use public transport or drive and a suitable home internet connection is essential. 

About you

Desirably you will have some experience of working in advocacy, or providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing support.

You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance. 

How will you make a difference?

You will be responsible for ensuring the individual’s wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are met to create positive outcomes for the people you support.

You will support people to speak up for themselves and grow in confidence, equip them to understand and exercise their rights and options, and will assist them in the decision-making process relating to their care, treatment, and support.

You will work resourcefully and collaboratively with the individuals you support.  You’ll be creative in your approach to empower our clients by ensuring you meaningfully explain people’s options and rights to them.  You’ll support individuals to fully participate in decisions affecting them and will make sure they have their voices heard.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community. 

When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).  

VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, Staff forums and communities of practice depending on role. Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.

To work on the Warm and Safe Wiltshire project to help Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) support the long-term wellbeing of disadvantaged households across Wiltshire, particularly individuals living in fuel poverty, those with health conditions, and communities that are otherwise hard to reach, including Armed Forces and veteran communities. As part of the Household Energy Services (HES) team, the Wiltshire Community Outreach Energy Advisor will bring experience engaging with different groups, charities, and local authorities. The post requires excellent customer service skills, personal resilience, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries. The role is primarily field based, delivering face‑to‑face energy advice, conducting home visits, and providing presentations to community groups and frontline professionals across Wiltshire.

Pay and conditions.

• We are flexible with the working hours of this role and will discuss this openly if you are invited to interview. 
• The salary for the role will be £29,024 per year (pro rata), rising to £31, 895 per year (pro rata) upon successful completion of probation period.
• You will be entitled to 25 days’ paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities.

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• To travel across Wiltshire to arrange and deliver events, workshops, talks and presentations to target support to vulnerable householders.
• To increase awareness of Warm & Safe Wiltshire amongst the Armed Forces community and other community organisations in Wiltshire.
• Develop, maintain and build upon new and existing partnerships with the Armed Forces and community partners.
• To provide face-to-face support for Wiltshire residents with energy-related issues so that they can stay safe, warm and healthy at home.
• To deliver outreach support to Wiltshire’s Armed Forces community including serving personnel, their families and veterans, for example attending coffee mornings and socials in Garrisons across Salisbury Plain.
• To deliver outreach support to community groups in Wiltshire who are client facing and interact with vulnerable householders daily, for example hosting an advice stand within a local library.
• To identify energy improvements that can be made to residents’ properties and make appropriate referrals for funded measures where possible.
• Help residents maximise their income and make appropriate referrals to partner organisations for further support (e.g., for benefits advice and social tariffs).
• Deliver home visits for residents with multiple issues, who are unable to access support outside the home or via phone/internet.
• Recognise and refer clients appropriately for energy casework if they have more complex needs (e.g., billing issues, energy debt, supplier complaints).
• To provide project administrative support.

Essential attributes for this role include:

• O’ Level or GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Previously worked with or volunteered for the Armed Forces.

About NASS 

The National Association of Special Schools (NASS) is the membership association for special schools in England and Wales. We bring together independent special schools, non-maintained special schools, special academies, maintained special schools and multi-academy trusts with specialist provision.

We exist to inform, support and represent our members, helping specialist schools improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND and secure the place of specialist provision within the wider education system. We are looking for a strategic, values-driven and analytical Systems Improvement & Learning Lead to strengthen the effectiveness, consistency and impact of domestic abuse services across London, ensuring meaningful safeguarding outcomes for victims and survivors.

This role is full-time and hybrid, with a minimum of one day per week in the office and occasional travel across London to engage with partners and services.

As a Systems Improvement & Learning Lead, you will be a senior leader within our Pan London Domestic Abuse Service, sitting on the Domestic Abuse Leadership Team and reporting to the Head of Service.

You will lead system improvement, learning and operational excellence across our London services, with a specific focus on MARAC practice and impact, high-risk harm and homicide prevention, learning from Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews (DARDRs), and equity, access and cultural competence.

This role combines strategic challenge with operational leadership. It requires credibility with frontline practitioners, confidence with senior leaders, and persistence where systems resist change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a senior point of contact for statutory and voluntary sector partners, providing constructive challenge and system leadership on safeguarding priorities.
• Lead pan-London continuous improvement activity, using data, frontline insight and review learning to drive consistency, quality and impact across services.
• Use system data, frontline insight and survivor narratives to identify risk, challenge ineffective practice and improve outcomes.
• Act as a credible senior partner to statutory and voluntary agencies, providing constructive challenge on safeguarding effectiveness.
• Analyse MARAC practice across London, identifying variation in thresholds, models, decision-making and follow-up, to drive meaningful improvement.
• Ensure MARAC participation is risk-focused and proportionate, promoting effective multi-agency safeguarding action beyond formal meetings.
• Provide operational leadership and line management, ensuring high standards of safeguarding, supervision, wellbeing and professional accountability.
• Champion equity, access and culturally competent practice, addressing systemic barriers to safety.

Ideally, you will be an experienced system leader with a strong operational background in domestic abuse and safeguarding. You will bring credibility, analytical rigour and the confidence to challenge established practice constructively, while maintaining effective partnerships across complex, multi-agency environments.

SARSAS exists to relieve the trauma and distress, and help rebuild the lives, of survivors who live in Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BANES, who have experienced any form of sexual violence, at any point in their lives.

SARSAS also campaigns and raises awareness about rape and sexual violence to change the narrative about sexual violence and enable survivor’s voices to be heard. Partnership work with a range of agencies locally and nationally is a priority to enable social change.

Decentralised Content & Knowledge Strategy

• Community Drive Content Strategy: Shift content from centralised, high-production manuals to a dynamic, community-curated Knowledge Commons.

• Modular Learning: Ensure all training and coaching materials are bite-sized, searchable, and easily swappable, reflecting the diverse voices of the UK-wide movement.

Impact-Led Design

• Embedded Insight: Work with the Head of Impact to bake measurement frameworks into service design. Ensure that impact data is a real-time byproduct of the service, not an additional task for the church.

• Data Completeness at Source: Work with the Head of Impact to increase the percentage of impact data points (as defined by the the impact framework) captured automatically during the natural flow of service delivery (reducing the need for manual surveys or back-office data entry).

• Enabling the Impact Community of Practice: Work with the Head of Impact to ensure Insight and Evidence content is accurately and efficiently captured through good design.

• Closing the Feedback Loop: Translating voices across Client, Church and Supporter.  Working with insights from across the movement into immediate improvements.

Senior Leadership Team Contributions:

• Be a key member of the Agility and organisation leadership team, demonstrating and living out CAP’s values.

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week which will include Monday evening and Saturday daytime. Remainder of the hours will be flexible to fulfil the needs of the role.

About the Role

As a key part of the delivery team, you’ll be at the heart of the action, leading the way in Clubs for young people aged 8 to 12 years. You will also have specific oversight over the partnership offers. Your mission? To create an exciting, high-quality programme that’s fun, engaging and truly makes a difference, all while keeping young people at the centre of everything we do.

No two days are the same, so you’ll need to be versatile, leading the creation of the Junior club offer while supporting both the recruitment and development of the delivery team. You’ll also be responsible for the smooth implementation and operation of the Junior club programme, whilst supporting the rest of the core Youth Work offer as needed. You’ll be a crucial part of the Youth Zone, welcoming up to 250 young people each session and creating a space where they can thrive!

About You

You will have:

• Proven experience in creating, developing and leading SEND youth programmes, creating a safe environment to deliver engaging programmes for diverse youth demographics (ages 8-19, up to 25 with additional needs/disabilities).
• Experience with Play work would be advantageous.
• Demonstrate experience in working with external partners to develop and deliver a programme of activities that enhance the Youth Work offer.
• Safeguarding knowledge, ideally as a Designated Safeguarding Lead. Confident communicator, able to engage young people and work professionally with staff and partners.
• Experience managing behaviour and supporting conflict resolution.
• Staff management experience with awareness of HR processes (performance, attendance, rota planning).
• Experience in planning and coordinating programmes, including health & safety, scheduling and budgeting.

About the Organisation

This is a brand-new locally run youth charity in Crewe.  It is set to provide thousands of young people with the opportunity to have fun, make new friends, try something new and feel safe. With community centric values and located in the heart of Crewe, it will be an inspiring place for young people aged 8 – 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to enjoy their leisure time. The building is due to be completed in 2025.

You'll be driving our corporate fundraising efforts, delivering our ambitious plans and meeting financial targets.

You will lead innovative fundraising campaigns, foster and manage corporate relationships and ensure exceptional supporter experiences. Your role will encompass corporate campaigning and working with local and regional businesses to maximise support and donations to the charity.

In this role you will collaborate with the wider team to ensure a unified and effective approach to fundraising to ensure that the charity is financially sustainable and widely recognised by local organisations. You will support the promotion and delivery of significant events, provide excellent stewardship and enhance supporter journeys. Your proactive, can-do attitude and dedication will play a crucial role in achieving substantial revenue growth and driving the success of our strategic initiatives.
