Centre 404 is looking for an experienced and ambitious Fundraising & Engagement Manager to lead and grow our fundraising and engagement activity—helping us provide vital support to people with learning disabilities and their families.
You will oversee the development and delivery of innovative fundraising initiatives, donor stewardship, and engagement campaigns, ensuring sustainable growth and increased visibility for the organisation. As an expert in your field, you will work collaboratively across teams and with external partners, to champion Centre 404’s mission within local communities and beyond.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of Centre 404’s fundraising strategy and drive innovative approaches across individual giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and community fundraising. You will play a key role in shaping our income generation, increasing our visibility, and maximising our impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Fundraising Strategy - develop and deliver a dynamic fundraising strategy across multiple income streams. Identify new opportunities and drive year‑on‑year income growth.
- Engage & Inspire Supporters - build strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and local communities. Create compelling fundraising campaigns, events, and cases for support. Nurture long‑term supporter loyalty, including legacy and in‑memory giving.
- Secure Grants & Manage Bids - research and secure funding from trusts and foundations. Monitor reporting requirements and maintain excellent funder relationships.
- Grow Community & Corporate Partnerships - network widely to raise Centre 404’s profile. Secure financial support, gifts in kind and employee engagement. Support individuals and teams to succeed in their own fundraising efforts.
- Strengthen Communications & Impact - work with the Communications Team to create engaging digital content and newsletters. Champion consistent, mission‑driven messaging across all platforms.
- Lead with Purpose - Embed a fundraising culture across the organisation. Implement a CRM system to manager data effectively. Contribute to organisational strategy as a member of the management team.
About You
- Substantial experience in fundraising from at least one of the following: trusts and foundations, corporates or individual giving.
- Substantial understanding of charity sector regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical fundraising standards.
- Knowledge of donor stewardship and supporter engagement strategies.
- A track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising targets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and campaigns.
- Excellent project management, data monitoring, and CRM experience.
- A proactive, innovative mindset and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Acorns is now seeking a Donor Experience Manager to play a key role in delivering an exceptional supporter experience across the fundraising directorate. Reporting to the Head of Donor Experience, the Donor Experience Manager will lead the delivery of engaging, insight-led donor journeys across multiple fundraising channels.
You will work closely with fundraising, marketing and care teams to ensure that every supporter interaction – from initial engagement through to long-term stewardship – is consistent, personalised and meaningful. Through effective stewardship, compelling communications and strong operational delivery, you will help strengthen supporter relationships and drive long-term retention.
The role will also oversee supporter care operations, ensuring high standards in donation processing, thanking, pledge management and supporter communications. Using CRM data (Donorfy), supporter feedback and insight, you will continuously refine stewardship activity and donor journeys to improve engagement and lifetime value.
As Donor Experience Manager, you will:
- Line manage and develop the Donor Experience Officer, ensuring high standards of supporter care and operational delivery
- Design and deliver multi-channel donor journeys that strengthen engagement, retention and supporter lifetime value
- Manage the annual fundraising communications plan and identify meaningful stewardship opportunities across fundraising activity
- Develop and maintain a central fundraising content library including case studies, stories and impact materials
- Work with fundraising, marketing and care teams to produce compelling supporter communications and impact reports
- Support bespoke stewardship and recognition activity for major donors and high-value supporters
- Champion digital engagement, automation and personalisation across supporter communications
- Lead supporter satisfaction surveys and use insight to continuously improve donor journeys
- Oversee supporter care processes including donation processing, thanking, pledge tracking and supporter enquiries
- Use CRM data (Donorfy) and insight to monitor engagement, retention and supporter behaviour and inform fundraising activity

Essential skills and experience include:

About you
The Lead - New Corporate Partnerships role will provide daily personnel support to the Senior Manager, Manager and Executive within their pillar assisting with pipeline development and problem solving. The role will require you to deputise for the Head of Corporate Partnerships at times when demands across the teams require this including at external partner events and meetings.

About the team
The Income Generation Directorate at Shelter comprises of the five departments, delivering a mature fundraising programme that has seen continuous year on year diversity and growth. The directorate generates over £48m gross income each year, of which a high percentage is unrestricted.

About the role
The Senior Business & Resource Planning Manager is a role within Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement, acting as a strategic partner to colleagues and driving key processes and activity in areas such as planning, reporting, project management and operational improvements.
The postholder will support on operationalising plans and lead on the in-year tracking and management of budgets across P&A, and play a key role in supporting the P&A Leadership Team (LT) in making informed decisions relating to the resourcing of staffing and activity.
This role will also lead and coordinate on key aspects of reporting including internal quarterly reviews and also key accountability sessions for P&A with University leadership. Alongside this, they will lead on strategic projects that align and have been identified as being important to progress P&A and wider institutional goals.
The role is based within the Advancement Operations section of P&A and will be part of the section leadership team. The postholder will be closely involved in taking forward projects to review and enhance processes to drive improvements and streamlining across Advancement Operations. This area of activity will also link to the postholder’s focus on supporting the Director of Advancement Operations in delivering their agenda.
This is a full time (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

Dataro are looking for a Partnerships & Marketing UK Manager to help grow their presence across the UK charity sector. This is a varied role that combines partnership development with hands-on marketing and events delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning ideas into action.
Around 70% of the role will focus on partnerships and new business growth; identifying and developing collaborations that build pipeline and raise Dataro’s profile across the UK. The remaining 30% will focus on delivering marketing activity and events on the ground, from conferences and webinars to partner activations and community engagement.
You’ll work closely with Dataro’s global marketing and partnerships team, with access to the tools, systems and support needed to make things happen. While the role sits within a global team, this position will play a key part in shaping and delivering activity specifically for the UK charity market.
This role could suit people from a range of backgrounds. You might currently be working in corporate partnerships, marketing, partnerships, data, or events within a UK charity, or in a technology or service provider that works with the nonprofit sector. Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and support for babies, children and young people who are life limited or life threatened. Supporting over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families annually, Acorns is a vital lifeline for families across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire during unimaginably difficult times.

About the role
As Senior Community Partnerships Manager, you will:
- Report to the Head of Partnerships and line manage three Community Partnerships Managers, ensuring plans are focused, targets/KPIs are set and met and ROI is prioritised
- Oversee key accounts worth circa £1m across the team, seeking opportunities to uplift/evolve, whilst delivering exceptional donor experience for SME, community group, and association partners
- Be the key account manager for a range of partnerships that have the potential for growth, are higher profile or have a wider geography than one patch alone
- Work closely with the Corporate Team to ensure smooth handover of partners with higher value potential or commercial complexity or in reverse for those that focus more on staff fundraising alone

About you
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience of growing income through regional community engagement, ideally within a charity setting
- Either line management or substantial coaching/mentoring experience
- Experience of working with community leaders
- Experience and evidence of first-class relationship management techniques and donor care
- Experience of organising events, managing volunteers, risk assessments and health and safety requirements
- Track record of cross-team working with examples of impact, ideally this will include collaborating with corporate partnerships teams

The Vacancy

JOB PURPOSE
The Partnerships Manager will be a key position within the fundraising team, managing key private donors and co-leading on developing and implementing a new business strategy focused on significantly increasing trust and foundation and corporate funders.
They will also be working with SLT members to put together strategic seven and eight figure grants and strategic plans to engage large global donors to support Start Network programming.
The Resource Mobilisation team works collaboratively with those in programmes to manage internal and external relationships, adopting a coordinated approach when it comes to donor management and reporting.
The Partnerships Manager, together with the Head of Resource Mobilisation, will set and deliver a strategy that maximises trust and foundation and corporate funding and set a clear path to bring in new donors and increase income substantially over the coming three years. Currently the funding portfolio you will be managing is over £30million from 13+ global donors. This means this role is personally responsible for engaging and retaining 60% of our donors. This role will set a strategy to increase income according to targets, maximise donors plus retain all key strategic donors through robust engagement plans. Beyond this, the person in post will line manage three with scope for growth in 2026.
Additionally, across 2026-2028 and beyond they will lead on the development of an employee engagement offering with our corporates and corporate foundations in order to create a new avenue of unrestricted funding.
Beyond this, we expect this role, to lead on behalf of the resource mobilization team key global events, particularly Skoll / Marmalade and Shift the Power. In collaboration with the Institutional Funding Manager they will also plan our activities London and NY Climate Weeks. They will set the plans and strategy for the organization to engage with these events and work with Directors, CEO, Heads of, and coordinate cross organisational plans for this together with our Head of Advocacy and Influence.
Finally, this role will act as a key point of contact for the communications and advocacy teams and will need to make sure donor requirement and visibility will be taken into account across teams projects and strategies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Increase new business from trusts and foundations and corporate funders
- Lead on the development of an innovative strategy together with the Head of Resource Mobilisation and Director of Business Development to identify and drive new business from trusts and foundations and corporates.
- Responsible for growing our funding from new geographical areas (focus on US and Asia) and sectors (Insurance) – and set a plan that will enable the diversification of our funding portfolio.
- Oversee the development and implementation of an employee engagement offer in order to create a new avenue of unrestricted income and boost the interest of corporate donors.
- Drive high quality prospecting of new potential funders across the organisation by working with and guiding heads of teams and the CEO strategically to engage with this task.
- Oversee how the organisation engages strategically with large trusts and foundations and corporates (potential giving 7 and 8 figures).
- Co-lead on the planning of key global events with our external affairs team such as Climate Week (New York and London) and make sure we have a cross organisational strategic approach to these events.
- Oversee the strategy to catalyse new relationships with middle sized trusts and foundations and corporates with a potential giving of 6 figures.
- Set a plan to attract more flexibility funding that can enable the organisation to catalyse key strategic projects that fall out of our programmes.
- Lead on developing positioning for corporate partnerships (insurance, finance, and tech industries), new areas of business for Start Network.
- Lead on the business planning process for the Trust and Foundations and Corporates Team.
- Manage large event budgets and make sure resources are used effectively.
- Work with programmes teams and colleagues to understand funding needs and develop creative ways to position and pitch areas of Start Network such as hubs, innovation etc.

Ensure high quality stewardship of current philanthropic donors
- Responsible for the overall stewardship of several high giving trusts and foundations (6, 7 & 8 figures).
- Oversee the development of quality reporting and updates for donors and make sure we have clear processes and systems for this to happen
- Responsible for making sure the resource mobilization team is creating informative and engaging updates across programmes for T&F and corporate donors.
- Work across teams to implement the insurance advisory group and make sure this group links back to resource mobilization strategies.
- Work with heads of teams to develop an engaging agenda for the insurance advisory group, taking into account the function and work with finance team to ensure appropriate expenditure of grant. Oversee the development of complex donor budgets and make sure they are ready for CFOO and Director approval.
- Support grant management function and work with finance team to ensure appropriate expenditure of grants.
- Work closely with the communications team in order to set up a strategic comms plan that will enable the organisation to position itself as a trend setter in the humanitarian sector, particularly around our core areas of work.
Influence externally
- Work with the Head of Resource Mobilisation and Director of Business Development to position Start Network strategically in global funding discussions.
- Engage key donors at strategic events and meetings.
- Work with the Head of Advocacy and External Affairs to coordinate advocacy messages for donors.

Person Specification
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
· A formal qualification in a related field (i.e Social Value, ESG, sustainability) or equivalent work experience.
· Previous first-hand experience in the innovation, design and delivery of ESG and sustainability leading edge initiatives.
· Proven expertise of ESG and sustainability principles and their application to operational services.
· Proven evidence of delivery of projects and initiatives – we are looking for those who create the ideas and concepts and who can then deliver on them!
· Strong experience of partnership relationship management.

About the role and its purpose
· You will be responsible for Advantage’s income and business development activity
· You will lead a broad range of income generating activities and manage relationships with stakeholders
· You will be responsible for growing income from a variety of sources, income streams and relationships

Key tasks & responsibilities
Income generation
· Use your skills, creativity and experience to develop our income generation strategy
· Develop ideas for creative sponsorship and funding opportunities, putting together and submitting proposal and tender documents; identifying suitable partners; presenting proposals and closing deals
· Converting pilot and seed-funded contracts to longer-term sustainable contracts e.g. current Postcode Lottery agreement in the North-East converting to a long-term contract with North-East and North Cumbria ICB (more information to this can be given at interview stage)
· Support drawing up and negotiating contracts and ensuring delivery
· Work with stakeholders and our internal team to scope and develop exciting new opportunities

Partnerships and Networks
· Build and maintain a network of strategic key external contacts that can support Advantage Mentoring’s work. Stakeholders will be from private, public and third sector groups. Take an active role in representing Advantage Mentoring to appropriate Trusts and Foundations
