• Work closely with the CEO and Management Team to develop and implement the charity’s fundraising strategy
• Develop income to an annual agreed target to support the Hub’s charitable activities through trust and other grant making bodies, statutory funding opportunities and corporate sponsors
• Undertake systematic research to identify potential income generation and funding opportunities
• Identify, develop and lead on priority fundraising projects and new sources of income
• Prepare attractive and compelling project-funding proposals and applications to grant-making trusts, the Lottery, UK companies, corporate supporters and other project funding sources, ensuring the potential of these sources is fully maximised
• Prepare attractive and compelling statutory funding applications and tender bids
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify innovations and ideas for fundraising bids
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the Hub’s activities and an understanding of the income generation and funding opportunities they create
• Contribute to the consistent brand communication throughout all fundraising and income generation activities
• Represent the Hub at external meetings and events as required
• Maintain meticulous records, including maintaining the fundraising and income records on targets and approaches
• Provide and produce relevant reports to the CEO on the Fundraising Strategy, including performance indicators to enable the Hub to assess the effectiveness of the strategy and ensuring results are carried forward in subsequent fundraising plans

General Overview

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and supporting all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders, and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

As the Devon Service Manager, you will oversee all the adult ITRS team and be instrumental in developing and sustaining networks, partnerships and new networks across Devon.  You will be responsible to the Head of Service and be part of the service manager team working closely alongside the other service managers.

Alongside your service manager colleagues, you will play a key leadership role in the delivery, development, and oversight of high-quality services for individuals impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, as well as for those who use harmful behaviours. You will be part of a team managing a diverse portfolio of services spanning prevention, crisis intervention, behaviour change, survivor recovery, and professional training. These include in-person interventions and digital platforms, therapeutic services and outreach across all age groups and communities.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our services are trauma-responsive, culturally competent and inclusive, with a strong focus on safeguarding, survivor voice and best practice. You will support teams to deliver consistently excellent support, ensure contract compliance and drive continuous improvement and innovation in a changing landscape.

As part of the Service Manager team, you will also hold strategic responsibility in scoping new projects, supporting research and business development opportunities. You will also ensure that the wellbeing and development of our people is at the front of our management and leadership priorities.

As the Devon Service Manager, you will have experience working with health professionals in a management or training capacity, and a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed practice and managing risk. This service takes an innovative approach to both delivering training to GP surgeries and providing therapeutic support to patients referred to us via surgeries who have received our training.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.

This role may include evening and weekend work when required.

Operational Responsibilities

• Service Delivery Oversight: Ensure the smooth and effective daily running of services across all areas—domestic abuse, sexual violence, stalking, behaviour change, survivor recovery, and training—delivered both in-person and digitally.
• Leadership and Management: Role model trauma responsive and inclusive leadership. Ensuring all staff and volunteers are effectively performance managed and live the charity’s values and have all appropriate resources to achieve excellence in their field. Work alongside colleagues from across FearFree to provide support, assistance and management to over teams where required.
• Safeguarding and Risk Management: Lead on child safeguarding and act as Deputy Safeguarding Lead when required. Oversee safeguarding practices across services, ensuring timely risk assessments, safety planning, and escalation of concerns.
• Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Monitor service quality through audits, case file reviews, feedback, and outcome data. Lead service improvements in response to learning, client feedback, and evolving best practice.
• Policy and Compliance: Ensure all services operate within legal, regulatory, contractual, and policy frameworks. Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with data protection and safeguarding legislation.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyse performance data to assess impact, identify trends, and inform service planning. Produce high-quality reports for internal leadership, commissioners, and funders.
• Partnerships and Representation: Maintain strong local and strategic partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies. Represent the charity in multi-agency forums, commissioning meetings, and stakeholder events.
• Crisis and Incident Management: Support staff with complex or high-risk cases. Lead operational responses to critical incidents or safeguarding escalations in collaboration with senior leaders. Provide Duty Out of Hours cover as part of a Senior Management Rota for safeguarding and incident management.
• Volunteer and Student Engagement: Oversee the safe and meaningful integration of volunteers and student placements into service delivery, ensuring appropriate supervision and development opportunities.
• System and Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in operational systems and work with others to develop streamlined, integrated processes across services and reporting tools.
• Strategic Oversight: To take part in, and contribute to Executive Leadership meetings as required, providing operational guidance.
• Budgets and Financial performance: Carefully monitor and evaluate both financial and non-financial performance and create contingency plans to predict and rectify any variables. Contribute to the creation of annual and budgets and financial targets.
• Advising on new development opportunities: Utilising data, local and national knowledge, identification of unmet needs, professional relationships and best practice to contribute to new opportunities.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a weekly rota which includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays. You will also take part in our out of hours service for managers.

Join and support in leading our brand new Mental Health Service which is due to go live April 2026! The service is a step-down service, which provides short-stay, trauma-informed alternative to hospital admission and facilities. The service forms part of a wider integrated initiative for urgent and emergency care. The team will support our residents who are at risk of admission but can be supported outside of mental health hospital settings, by providing tailored support to them to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals, to live more fulfilled lives and independent living.

Are you an experienced Fundraising Manager who can help us manage an exciting and developing direct marketing programme for our amazing supporters?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Involvement Manager to join the St Mungo’s Fundraising department for a 6 month fixed term contract until 1 October 2026, where you will cover an internal sabbatical and help to oversee our Supporter Involvement Team.

Over the 6 months you will have the opportunity to get involved with:

• Helping us manage a busy programme of offline communications.
• Ensuring our data selections and segmentation runs smoothly and accurately.

Overall Purpose of the Role

Youth Action Alliance (YAA) is seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and values-driven Support Youth Worker to support the delivery of two key strands of our youth offer: the Girls Project and the Youth Advisory Board (YAB).

This is a varied and rewarding role combining hands-on youth work with project support, centred on empowering young people aged 11–19 (and up to 24 where appropriate). Youth Advisory Board (YAB) (Friday)

The Youth Advisory Board is a group of young people aged 11–19 who act as advisors to Youth Action Alliance. YAB members amplify youth voice across YAA’s work, contribute to decision-making, attend meetings and events, lead consultations, and develop skills in leadership, communication, and civic engagement.

We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative legal manager for our international Environment and Sustainable Development Programme. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with deep enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of how our partners could use the law to achieve environmental justice. A more detailed explanation of our organisational and programme strategy is set out in our 2024-2026 Strategy.

Working as part of a small but dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn at close hand what it means to work for an international NGO focusing on how the law can be used to fight corruption and achieve environmental and economic justice. You will develop projects with a range of partners, including international agencies, NGOs, CSOs and governments. You will collaborate with a range of volunteer lawyers (via law firms and barristers chambers) who are leading experts in their field. You will also help nurture, build and maintain relationships with our funders. The role will involve outreach to new partners, programme management, supporting the drafting of fundraising applications and donor reports, tracking impact, as well as evaluating and learning from projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement the strategic vision for ILP’s Environment and Sustainable Development (ESD) programme, in conjunction with the ESD Programme Director, Legal Fellows, Executive Director, partners, staff and Board;

2. Develop an understanding of the most effective environmental policy tools and legal interventions to deliver the programme’s objectives, through engagement with volunteer lawyers, ILP partners, ILP’s ESD Advisory Committee, staff, Board and others;

3. Support the ESD Programme Director to build and maintain ILP’s Environment and Sustainable Development (ESD) programme. This includes:

   • liaising with partners to identify legal/policy needs and offer potential legal and/or policy reform solutions, including through conducting legal analysis;

     identifying and engaging in regular outreach with potential new partners to build the project pipeline;

   • identifying, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new highly experienced volunteer lawyers;

   • mapping and developing relationships with regional and international development entities and other technical assistance providers to identify potential partners, needs and focus countries;

   • representing the programme in external fora and events.

4. Support the Programme Director in ensuring effective project delivery and evaluation of impact including:

   • managing and coordinating project implementation through the full project cycle;

   • delivering financial management for assignments including accurate budgeting, forecasting, accounting and reporting;

   • Supporting the development and maintenance of strong programme management and knowledge management systems and processes, including regular updating of ILP’s online internal database (GRID).

5. Support the Programme Director’s fundraising efforts to finance both the programme and organisational overheads, including working closely with the Programme Director to identify opportunities for potential funding with partners, liaise with and nurture donors, design funding applications and create relevant budgets;

6. Deepen ILP’s knowledge and understanding of the situation in developing economies, including engaging in relevant research alongside ILP partners (pro bono lawyers, NGOs, CSOs and others) and sharing findings via written reports and output;

The Development Team generate funds to enable everyone experiencing a mental health issue to get both support and respect. Harris Hill is recruiting a Database Manager for a national children’s charity based near Liverpool Street, with hybrid working available. You will join a friendly Finance and Database Team and play a key role in managing the organisation’s CRM database (Donorflex). 

Salary: £42,000

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will line manage one Senior Database Officer and be responsible for maintaining high standards of data accuracy, integrity and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing income processing and coding
• Managing service user data and Gift Aid
• Producing data selections and reports
• Supporting colleagues with database queries
• Improving database processes and integrations

About you:
You will have experience managing a CRM database and line managing staff, with strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of Donorflex, GDPR and Gift Aid is desirable.

Recovery Navigators (Mental Health) – Intensive Community Rehabilitation Service

Salary: £24,570 per annum

Location: Small Heath, Birmingham

37.5 hours per week – flexible shift patterns to include weekend and evening working. Part time roles will be considered.

We have been able to diversify our services over recent years resulting in our offer to the citizens of Birmingham being expanded to include prevention and community-based asset services, crisis intervention, a Birmingham and Solihull wide Mental health Helpline as well as workplace wellbeing support.

You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary clinically led Community Intensive Rehabilitation Team within Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust and as such although the service manager employed by us will be your line manager you will be working as part of an integrated medical and psychology team. You will be working in partnership with people who are experiencing mental health difficulties who are currently living in their own accommodation within the Birmingham area and require a period of intensive rehabilitation. Your support of individuals will be a person-centred recovery approach that focuses on developing, maintaining, and strengthening individuals’ skills, abilities, and personal resilience.

Ideally you will be QCF/NVQ level 3 qualified or have a willingness to work towards this qualification. It is essential that you have an empathy for people experiencing mental health issues and are committed to service user involvement and empowerment. You will have a good understanding of equal opportunities, confidentiality, safeguarding and health & safety.

You will need to be flexible due to the shift patterns which include evenings and weekends. Shift patterns include 9.00am - 5.00pm and 12.00pm to 8.00pm.

About the role

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with immediate operational responsibility and strategic outreach portfolio leadership.

As the Senior Manager: Specialist & Outreach Services, you will provide strong, visible leadership to Catalyst Support’s specialist and outreach provision, with an initial core focus on the Cuckooing Assertive Outreach Service. Managing the cuckooing team, you will provide direct operational oversight while developing and leading the service, ensuring safe, trauma-informed, high quality delivery and effective partnership working across Surrey.

You’ll support and guide a team of staff, helping them stay motivated, work well together, and deliver meaningful support, while holding accountability for performance and practice. Building a positive team culture will be key, encouraging collaboration, learning, and shared responsibility. You’ll also manage key relationships with commissioners, partners, and stakeholders, and work closely with the Director of Services to help shape and deliver strategic priorities.

You will work closely with, and be based regularly within, Catalyst’s Women’s Support Centre, supporting services working with women affected by domestic abuse, on their journey of recovery and living with complex trauma.

Alongside this, the role is designed to grow into the strategic and operational leadership of Catalyst’s wider Specialist & Outreach portfolio, bringing coherence, quality and sustainability across services working with people experiencing multiple disadvantage.

The role is line managed by the Director of Services and you will play a key role in shaping the future operating model for specialist and outreach services.

About you

We are looking for candidates with:

• A relevant professional qualification in mental health, substance use, criminal justice, social care or a related field and/or substantial equivalent professional experience, with a strong applied understanding of trauma-informed and outreach-based practice.
• Significant experience working in specialist, outreach or community-based services, supporting people experiencing multiple disadvantage, including exploitation, domestic abuse, substance use, mental ill-health and criminal justice involvement.
• Proven experience of managing staff and services in complex environments, including line management, supervision, and leading programmes or projects within operational settings.
• Strong Safeguarding knowledge and sound professional judgment with experience of holding safeguarding decisions in multi-agency contexts.
• Demonstrable ability to combine hands-on operational leadership with strategic thinking, including service development, performance improvement and change.
• High level of emotional intelligence, resilience and integrity, with the ability to hold complexity, lead others through change, and work in partnership with a range of stakeholders and partners.
