About the Role

The role sits in the Strategic Operations in the International Operations Department, which plays a critical role in the management of our largest and most complex program to ensure it is positioned to deliver results, drive growth with excellence, committed to implementing best practices at scale, while simultaneously adhering to core programmatic and operational standards. The Strategic Operations team reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and provides strategic, financial and operational support to the Nigeria country program, which delivers one third of MSI’s global contraceptive impact in Africa.

This new role is created to provide support and capacity to Nigeria’s growing donor portfolio and to bolster up both Regional Programme Manager and Associate Director Finance to fulfil financial and operational project management needs. Under the guidance and supervision of the Associate Director for Strategic Operations Finance and in close cooperation with the Regional Programme Manager, you will support the delivery of funded projects in Nigeria by facilitating and ensuring effective project and grant management; supporting financial and narrative donor reporting and overseeing financial processes including business planning, budgeting, monthly performance reviews, forecasting, and risk and compliance. You will be responsible for providing critical financial and risk management support to the MSIN project team, liaise with Donor Finance Team and Global Program and Partnership colleagues to play a key role in analysing and communicating financial results and performance; ensuring system and process efficacy and compliance with MSI quality standards and donor contractual obligations are met.

To perform this role, you’ll need the following experience:

• Demonstrated project/financial management experience of large and complex donor-funded grants.
• Knowledge of donor regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ability to produce, deliver and present meaningful financial analysis and recommend appropriate actions to enhance organizational performance
• Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy-in from the necessary stakeholders

The Grant Programme Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of grant-funded projects across multiple sub-funds and geographies. Working closely with programme partners, this role ensures that funded projects not only produce certified Better Cotton but also deliver measurable impact aligned with BCI’s strategic targets. The role includes stewardship and oversight of significant donor funding and accountability for strong financial, performance and compliance standards across the portfolio.

The Challenge

Looking ahead to 2030, BCI is targeting a 50 percent reduction in GHG emissions from cotton production, significant reductions in synthetic pesticide use, improved soil health across our network, increased farm income and stronger support for women’s empowerment among farmers and farm workers.

As a Grant Programme Manager, you will oversee a multi-country grant portfolio, ensure strong financial stewardship, drive performance against strategic targets and strengthen partnerships with programme partners and donors.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Grant Programme Manager to join our Global Programmes team within GIF. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a complex grant portfolio and ensuring effective delivery, financial oversight and strategic alignment.

1. Oversee and manage a portfolio of Small Farm Fund projects across multiple countries, ensuring delivery against BCI strategy and BCSS targets.
2. Lead grant application and assessment processes, including reviewing proposals, analysing organisational viability and contributing to funding recommendations.
3. Ensure effective financial stewardship of donor funds, reviewing budgets, tracking expenditure and identifying risks or corrective actions where required.
4. Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, ensuring robust data quality, learning integration and continuous improvement.
5. Represent GIF in internal governance forums, including the Field Investment and Innovation Committee, contributing to funding decisions and strategic discussions.
6. Engage with donors and external stakeholders, supporting reporting, relationship management and future funding opportunities.
7. Support Large Farm Fund and Knowledge Partner Fund rounds, including assessment, monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
8. Strengthen grant management systems and processes, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance and transparency.
9. Collaborate closely with country programme teams, MEL colleagues and finance teams to ensure coordinated delivery and alignment across functions.
10. Contribute to annual reporting, portfolio analysis and strategic planning for the GIF and wider Global Programmes function.

Experience

We are looking for candidates with the following skills, knowledge and experience:

1. Degree in Agronomy, International Development, Anthropology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2. Demonstrated experience managing complex grant or project portfolios within rural development or sustainability contexts.
3. Experience working with commercial and institutional donors, including proposal development and reporting.
4. Strong financial oversight experience, including reviewing budgets and financial performance.
5. Experience using MEL frameworks, logframes and performance monitoring tools.
6. Willingness to travel for project visits twice a year (trips of between 7-10 days), and up to 2 trips per year for team/organisational meetings in Europe. If the successful applicant is based in one of our programme countries ie. CDI, India or Pakistan, the number of project visits would be greater.

Desirable

1. Expertise in smallholder agriculture.
2. Experience supporting organisational development of partners.
3. Experience communicating with donors and representing programmes externally.
4. Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa or South Asia.
5. Additional language skills relevant to programme geographies.

About the role

The Senior Business & Resource Planning Manager is a role within Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement, acting as a strategic partner to colleagues and driving key processes and activity in areas such as planning, reporting, project management and operational improvements.  

The postholder will support on operationalising plans and lead on the in-year tracking and management of budgets across P&A, and play a key role in supporting the P&A Leadership Team (LT) in making informed decisions relating to the resourcing of staffing and activity.

This role will also lead and coordinate on key aspects of reporting including internal quarterly reviews and also key accountability sessions for P&A with University leadership. Alongside this, they will lead on strategic projects that align and have been identified as being important to progress P&A and wider institutional goals. 

The role is based within the Advancement Operations section of P&A and will be part of the section leadership team. The postholder will be closely involved in taking forward projects to review and enhance processes to drive improvements and streamlining across Advancement Operations. This area of activity will also link to the postholder’s focus on supporting the Director of Advancement Operations in delivering their agenda. 

This is a full time (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract. 

P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

Level Water exists to solve a problem that shouldn’t exist: too many disabled children are still missing out on high-quality swimming lessons. 

Last year, our swimmers raised over £1m. This year we’ve sold out events in minutes and want to double the fundraising. We’re on the path to exponential growth and we need someone who can help us get there.

We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own our events and run them like a business. We move fast, test everything, and we're building something that doesn't exist anywhere else. Our events are uniquely profitable, and we reinvest in quality and growth. 

We've just brought in a new Fundraising Director, and this Marketing role is a cornerstone of the team we're building. If you want to help define how a modern charity grows and does marketing, this is your chance.

What you'll actually do

This role owns marketing as a growth engine. You'll set strategy, drive execution across multiple channels, and be accountable for how marketing translates into event sign-ups, fundraising growth, profile, and impact. You'll work closely with the Fundraising Director to shape priorities, influence decisions, and build something that scales.

Drive growth marketing that converts

• Own end-to-end marketing for our events portfolio: from launch campaigns to sell-out.

• Build and execute multi-channel campaigns across social, email, paid ads, PR, partnerships, and whatever else works.

• Test everything. Audiences, messages, creative, channels. Find what works, double down, and scale it.

• Use data to spot opportunities: which channels are converting? Where are we leaving growth on the table? What could we do differently?

• Manage our digital advertising and paid social strategy with a ruthless focus on ROI.

• Grow our email database and social audiences with intent, not just for vanity metrics.

• Be trusted to repeatedly turn £1 into £5 or £10. 

• Define and unleash our audiences: help them share their stories in a way that turns experiences into future sales, and makes everything that Level Water does easier.

• Build and manage our captain and ambassador programmes as genuine growth engines - nurturing relationships, setting expectations, and turning influence into measurable impact.

• Proactively convert interest into action. This includes direct outreach (e.g. picking up the phone to captains, engaging top fundraisers, activating ambassadors) to ensure intent turns into ticket sales and fundraising.

Tell stories that build belief

• Find, shape, and share the stories that show our impact: the children, the families, the teachers, the moments that matter.

• Build and curate a library of content (video, photography, case studies, testimonials) that we can use everywhere.

• Work with freelance photographers and videographers to capture our events and programmes at their best.

• Create content that our supporters, partners, and prospects actually want to engage with, not just content that ticks a box.

• Manage our website (fundraising, events, and programmes pages) to ensure it's always up to date, compelling, and optimised for conversion.

• Ensure our impact reporting to donors is rich with content about our work.

• Use storytelling internally to build shared understanding, momentum and belief across the charity as we scale.

Build our profile and partnerships

• Position Level Water as a leader in accessible swimming and outdoor challenge events.

• Build and leverage relationships with press, influencers, local authorities, and stakeholders.

• Identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities that align with our mission and drive growth.

• Amplify examples of inclusion within our pools, making them known and also making inclusive practice visible.

• Promote our swimming pool partners and recognise their contribution to our work.

Manage, measure, and improve

• Own the marketing budget and get maximum value from every pound spent.

• Manage our freelance network: scope projects, review proposals, and ensure quality work on time and on budget.

• Report regularly on what's working and what's not: campaign performance, audience growth, conversion rates, ROI.

The Events and Partnerships Officer will play vital part of delivering a dynamic calendar of events that support our partners and new partner acquisition, developing our industrial supporter programme and supporting vital processes across the income generation team. The role requires initiative, creativity, and independence to manage projects from concept to completion, working closely with the Events and Partnerships Manager to drive growth and engagement across the sector.

Key events include the Annual Conference and Awards of Excellence, All Party Parliamentary Group Air Ambulance Reception and attendance at sector specific exhibitions. The current partnership portfolio includes air ambulance suppliers and other key stakeholders who support the air ambulance community.

Key Responsibilities

Events

• Lead and deliver assigned events from planning through to evaluation, ensuring objectives, budgets, and timelines are met.
• Develop and manage relationships with sponsors, partners, exhibitors, and delegates to maximise engagement and value.
• Collaborate with the Income Generation team to identify and secure sponsorship opportunities.
• Manage logistics including venues, travel, accommodation, catering, and supplier contracts.
• Attend and represent AAUK at internal and external events and conferences, including occasional overnight stays.

Partnerships and Growth

• Support the recruitment and retention of Industry Supporters through an active pipeline.
• Support the development and delivery of AAUK’s growing partnerships portfolio, working collaboratively across teams to identify opportunities.
• Contribute ideas and take initiative to grow our events and partnership offerings in line with strategic objectives.
• Foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

CRM & Stewardship 

• Leading adherence to AAUK’s CRM processes and standards
• Ensuring donors feel valued and thanked for their contributions
• Leading use of and reporting of donation software such as, Payroll Giving, Enthuse and Just Giving platforms.

Person Specification

• Experience of event planning, delivery, and evaluation within a charity, membership, or corporate environment.
• Relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Confident working remotely with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Good organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience in use of CRM systems, Donorfy knowledge an advantage but not essential

We are looking for an energetic, organised and enthusiastic Corporate Development Officer to join our ambitious Fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in corporate fundraising or B2B account management who is confident building strong, long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver against corporate income targets in line with our fundraising strategy.
• Identify, cultivate and secure new corporate partnerships, including Charity of the Year opportunities, sponsorships and corporate fundraising campaigns.

• Prepare compelling proposals, pitch materials and partnership agreements.

Desirable Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in corporate fundraising.
• Experience developing pitches and securing COTY partnerships.

About us

TALK Surrey CIO is a small local charity dedicated to supporting people affected by stroke and aphasia, an acquired language and communication difficulty. People with aphasia can often feel isolated and lose their confidence.  We provide group activities, home visits, and community services designed to improve quality of life and foster social connections.  Our team of trained volunteers and two existing part-time staff provide an inclusive and supportive group environment for our members to practise their communication skills, share experiences and enjoy each others' company.

We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate Head of Charity to be responsible for leading our organisation, ensuring our services are high-quality, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of our members.  You would be responsible for the overall leadership, management and development of TALK, including thinking ahead to expand our range of services. You will ensure the charity is well governed, financially sustainable and delivering high-quality, person-centred services aligned to its mission.

You would work closely with Trustees, staff, volunteers, members and other stakeholders to shape the charity’s future, strengthen partnerships, and ensure effective service delivery.

About you

Ideally you will have: 

• Experience in managing or leading a small organisation, charity or service.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience developing and improving services based on user need and evidence.
