We're looking for a driven Direct Marketing Manager - Acquisition on a 12-month fixed term contract to lead our donor recruitment programme and inspire the UK public to support our life changing work for the first time.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the full acquisition journey across multiple channels while contributing directly to major emergency responses through Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) appeals.
This is a hands on role in a small, passionate team, with the space to innovate and directly influence our future supporter programme.
We offer hybrid working, with a minimum of one day a week in our London office (including one Thursday of the month for our Age International 'all-staff' days).

Experience and Background
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Legacy Fundraising or a similar fundraising role, with experience with experience in planning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns, particularly those aimed at growing legacy and in memory income streams. A solid understanding of legacy fundraising principles, supporter journeys, and the sensitivities involved in discussing gifts in wills and bereavement-related giving is also important. Candidates should be confident managing projects end-to-end, from creative development through to evaluation, and comfortable collaborating with external agencies to ensure high-quality outputs.
In addition, the role requires excellent relationship-management skills, as it involves working closely with donors, families, colleagues, and partners such as Legacy Links to ensure compassionate and consistent supporter care. Strong organisational abilities are key for overseeing legacy administration, maintaining accurate reporting, and ensuring compliance with governance standards. Familiarity with CRM systems, data analysis, and reporting tools will support effective monitoring of income and campaign performance. A background in charity communications or stewardship, coupled with empathy, tact, and attention to detail, will ensure the fundraiser can successfully manage initiatives such as the Heart of Oak Memory Tree and continue to grow the organisation’s in memory programme.

Hours of Work
Hours of work are 35 hours per week, 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.

As Administration Coordinator - Global you will supervise and coordinate the work of a team of administrators responsible for providing reliable, high-quality administrative support for international governance meetings and events, and communications to member organisations and external partners.
You will work with colleagues and external stakeholders worldwide to ensure the smooth delivery of the administration function, including the logistical aspects of our global activities, contributing to the successful delivery of our Congress cycle and organisational work programme.
Reporting to the Head of Global Administration, you will help to strengthen long-term administrative systems that are efficient, coordinated and fit for purpose in a complex international environment.

About you

- Proven experience managing and leading a team, including mentoring, performance development reviews and motivating others
- Strong knowledge of administrative practices, ideally with experience in the delivery of international meetings & conferences
- Ability to prioritise effectively, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, often working across international time zones
