Job description

Public Fundraising Officer

Are you passionate about creating operational excellence and making a real difference? Join Target Ovarian Cancer as our Public Fundraising Officer and help deliver a wide range of fundraising activities that support people affected by ovarian cancer.

This is an exciting new role in our Public Fundraising team. This agile role supports all aspects of Public Fundraising, from operations through to stewardship. You will spend up to 50% of your time supporting our events portfolio under the leadership of the Events Manager, and for at least 50% of your time you will have a dotted line into managers within the Public Fundraising team — helping with stewardship, administration and general team support across digital products, Individual Giving, Legacies and Community Fundraising.

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys building relationships. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems and be keen to find new ways of improving processes and supporter journeys.

If you're looking to develop a broad range of fundraising skills within a collaborative and supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

 The Role

This is a full-time (35 hours per week), Permanent  position.

Willingness to travel across the UK is essential for this role, along with evening and weekend work, which will be recompensed as time off in lieu.

We operate a hybrid working model. You will usually work remotely but will be expected to attend meetings at our office near London Bridge when required. Please note that travel costs to the office are not covered.

If you would like more information about expected office attendance, please refer to the recruitment pack.
