Overview
Hays is delighted tobe partnering with a leading national charity to recruit a CorporatePartnerships Manager to join its growing fundraising and philanthropy function.
This is an excitingopportunity for an experienced corporate fundraising or partnershipsprofessional to play a key role in generating sustainable income and developingimpactful partnerships with businesses across the UK.
Joining at a period of growth, you will be responsible for both securing new corporate partnerships and managing existing relationships, helping to deliver significant fundraising income while creating meaningful collaborations that support vital community programmes and services. Working within a highly visible and ambitious team, you will contribute to partnership strategy, develop compelling funding propositions and engage with senior decision-makers across the corporate sector.
The successfulcandidate will combine strong business development skills with excellentrelationship management capabilities and a passion for delivering positivesocial impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and secure new corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective corporate supporters.
  • Manage and grow existing corporate partnerships, maximising long-term support.
  • Develop tailored partnership proposals, presentations and funding applications.
  • Conduct market research and prospect analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Lead partnership cultivation activities and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and sponsorship packages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling partnership propositions and stewardship plans.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on partnership performance and fundraising activity.
  • Support fundraising campaigns, events and wider strategic initiatives.


Skills &Experience Required
Essential

  • Proven experience securing five-figure or higher corporate partnerships, sponsorships or donations.
  • Strong track record of delivering against income generation or business development targets.
  • Experience developing and managing successful corporate partnerships.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Experience preparing high-quality proposals, presentations and business cases.
  • Strong networking, prospecting and pipeline management capability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.


Desirable

  • Experience within the charity, not-for-profit or fundraising sector.
  • Understanding of CSR, ESG and corporate social investment programmes.
  • Experience coordinating employee engagement or volunteering programmes.
  • Knowledge of fundraising compliance and best practice frameworks.
  • Project development or partnership activation experience.

You will join a growing fundraising and partnerships function responsible for developing strategic relationships with corporate organisations and securing vital income to support a wide range of community services and charitable initiatives. The team works closely with senior internal stakeholders, operational leaders and external partners to deliver innovative and mutually beneficial partnerships.
