SALARY: £28k - £33k dependent on experience

The Fundraising Officer/s will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, and executing all fundraising activities and initiatives. About this role
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of children's healthcare by developing compelling cases for support and leading fundraising proposition development for one of the UK's most ambitious children's hospital charities.
The Philanthropy Propositions Lead will be responsible for creating inspiring, evidence-based fundraising propositions that secure transformational philanthropic support from major donors, trusts and foundations.
Working across Alder Hey Children's Charity and Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation, the postholder will develop and project manage a pipeline of strategic funding opportunities. This will include helping to coordinate the Charity's capital appeal programme, ensuring complex projects progress efficiently from early concept through to successful fundraising and delivery.
This role combines exceptional writing, strategic thinking, stakeholder management and project leadership, ensuring every fundraising proposition tells a compelling story of how philanthropy can transform children's healthcare.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Case for support and fundraising proposition development
Write transformational cases for support which demonstrate clear patient benefit, articulate the case for charitable funding and include meaningful outcomes and impact measures.
Produce bespoke proposals for major donors and funders.
Create compelling donor and funder updates and reports.
Funding opportunity pipeline development
Maintain a pipeline of future funding opportunities, ensuring sufficient project information is available before entering fundraising.
Ensure proposed projects have clear objectives, realistic budgets, measurable outcomes and defined timescales.
Capital Appeal Coordination
Develop project plans for complex fundraising opportunities and monitor progress across multiple workstreams.
Coordinate regular project meetings with clinical, operational and fundraising colleagues.
Internal Collaboration
Build strong relationships with colleagues and clinicians in the Trust.
Work collaboratively with the Charity Grants and Impact Team, Alder Hey clinicians and Trust staff and colleagues across the Charity to develop compelling funding opportunities for agreed projects and areas of work.
Other Duties
Be an outstanding advocate for Alder Hey Children’s Charity in line with the core values of the organisation.
Be an active and supportive member of the Alder Hey Children’s Charity team, contributing to the team’s development and working collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers.

As a Lead Gardener at Southern Hospice Group, you will play a vital role in shaping and maintaining welcoming, peaceful outdoor environments that offer comfort, reflection, and calm for patients, families, and staff. Our hospice grounds provide a highly varied and rewarding setting, from propagation in the polytunnel to kitchen gardens, wildflower meadows, woodland walks, wildlife ponds, private contemporary patient gardens, and expansive green spaces.
In this role, you will take both a hands-on and supervisory position, leading garden staff and volunteers while maintaining the highest horticultural standards across all areas. Your work will directly contribute to wellbeing, offering a strong sense of purpose, pride, and job satisfaction.

We are looking to recruit an Administration and Grants Officer to support the output of our HQ, including benevolent fund caseload management, member support, and general Association output. Some travel is expected to support membership events inc. evenings & weekends, with occasional overnight stays. We are the UK’s largest membership organisation of female veterans and serving women - a financially sustainable £8m charity which aims to provide camaraderie, benevolence and support to women who have served in the Army. Our benevolent fund awards over £200k in grants per year to an average of 120 applicants, from minor requests to major grants, and annual maintenance. We organise both national and local events for our members to attend where they meet up with old friends, remember those we have lost, support each other, have fun and make new and lasting memories. We have approaching 5000 active members which we hope to grow as we reach out to many more female veterans eligible to join our Association.

The charity is governed by a Board of Trustees with a number of sub-committees, all volunteers. We are a small staff team of 5, led by a CEO, who are motivated by the good work we do to support some amazing, brave and pioneering women. Some have fallen on hard times and need our financial support, whilst others may be lonely or have reduced mobility, and rely on our association to keep them in touch with like-minded comrades.

The Events and Community Fundraising Assistant will work within the Events and Community team, that sits within the wider Fundraising department.
We are looking for someone with strong time management, multi-tasking skills and importantly, a curious mind that would like to develop their skills in relationship and events and community fundraising.

Working hours and contract: This is a permanent full-time role (35 hours per week). We will consider part-time and flexible arrangements.
Salary: £25,711 - £26,500 (depending on experience)
Location: Central London with some remote working. A minimum of two days required in the office (50 Leman Street, London, E1 8HQ) and external meetings and events as required.

Role Responsibilities
· Steward and support fundraisers participating in challenge events and community activities, delivering excellent supporter care and ensuring a positive fundraising experience.
· Manage relationships with community fundraisers, including schools, local groups, Rotary Clubs, organisations and individuals, providing guidance and encouragement to maximise fundraising success.
· Coordinate and deliver community fundraising collections and awareness activities, including supermarket token schemes, train or tube station collections, and other one-day fundraising events.
· Organise volunteer coordination, cheerpoints and event-day logistics for flagship third-party events such as the London Marathon.
· Liaise with third-party event providers, ensuring timely participant registration on supplier consoles and accurate administration.
· Research, identify and engage schools, community organisations and local groups to generate new fundraising opportunities, building relationships through proactive outreach and stewardship.
· Manage the Events Inbox, responding to enquiries promptly and coordinating communications with supporters and event partners.
· Prepare and distribute fundraising materials to community groups and event participants in an efficient and timely manner.
