Policy Development Lead
We are looking for a Policy Development Lead to provide strategic leadership, coordination and expertise in proactive policy development across NDCS. This exciting new role will help us think beyond immediate policy activity, identify where system change is needed, and develop longer-term policy positions that are informed by evidence, specialist insight, lived experience and external practice.
The role will initially focus on Education, while retaining the flexibility to support wider policy development across areas such as early years, social care, health, benefits, sign language and other emerging priorities. Working closely with Platform Leads, Policy and Nation Leads, and colleagues across the organisation, you will help ensure NDCS develops strong, evidence-based policy positions that create meaningful change for deaf children and their families.

You will lead roll out of products, ensuring they meet user needs, are adopted effectively and continue to improve through feedback and review.
This role requires a strong understanding of how evidence can be applied in real-world decision making, alongside excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills, supported by a breadth of evidence and analysis knowledge.
This role includes line management of an Evidence Engagement officer, as well as matrix and task management of other staff from across Evidence and Impact.

About the role
You will be playing a pivotal role in the senior leadership of the fundraising directorate, working alongside the Head of Relationship Fundraising and Partnerships. You will help to shape the ambitious future for fundraising at East Anglian Air Ambulance, delivering the Future Proofed Giving strategy, growing income, and developing a brilliant team of fundraisers, stewardship specialists and engagement experts.
Key responsibilities include:
Building a brand-new engagement, stewardship, retention and development function for the fundraising directorate including; building the team, embedding the function across the fundraising and wider teams; This function will be the beating heart of the fundraising team and ensure we can deliver our ambitious strategy.

Responsibilities
Liturgical, Pastoral and Ministry Support (30%)
Oversee planning for key services across the diocese, including confirmations and institutions, maintain digital resources for churches and support the Bishop at these services as needed.
On the Bishop's behalf, consult and advise Cathedral, incumbents and churchwardens on the planning and delivery of any service in which the Bishop plays a part, ensuring Orders of Service are signed off and accessible to the Bishop as appropriate.
Discern the next season of support for 'Nurturing Prayer' at both diocesan and parish level, work in collaboration with the Discipleship & Ministry team to develop a strategic approach. As required, lead on the planning and delivery of activity.
Support the worship and prayer life of key gatherings; such as Bishop's Council and Diocesan Synod, as well as other diocesan events.
Assist the bishop in his teaching ministry as needed, research matters, attend key leadership training days, and support and contribute to the programme as appropriate.

Safeguarding & Episcopal administration (35%)
In conjunction with the Registry, advise on and ensure that clergy licences and Permissions to Officiate are administered in a timely and appropriate manner, in line with all requirements for Safer Recruitment and House of Bishops' policies.
Ensure the Bishop's Office support parishes in their compliance with all legal requirements including in relation to the suspension of benefices and pastoral reorganisation, service provision and building usage.
Oversee administration for C4 applications, the Overseas Clergy Measure and Eucharistic Assistants.
Support the administration of the Clergy Discipline Measure and complaint and grievance procedures relating to clergy.

ROLE PURPOSE
Sitting within our Philanthropy & Partnerships team, you will play a pivotal role in securing the philanthropic support that makes ShelterBox's work possible. By identifying, qualifying and developing major donor opportunities from our supporter base, networks and wider community, you will help connect more people with our mission to ensure no one is without shelter after disaster.
At the heart of this role is building and strengthening the major donor pipeline. You will proactively analyse data, identify high-potential prospects, uncover valuable connections and work with colleagues across the organisation to create opportunities for supporters to deepen their engagement with ShelterBox. Through strategic prospect research, qualification and relationship building, you will help move individuals from initial interest to meaningful philanthropic partnerships.
Working closely with colleagues across Philanthropy & Partnerships, senior leadership, volunteers and key stakeholders, you will develop and implement tailored cultivation plans that create pathways to giving and maximise the long-term potential of prospective donors. You will support the delivery of bespoke engagement opportunities, proposals and communications drawing on ShelterBox's powerful humanitarian mission, compelling stories and tangible impact to engage diverse audiences and inspire long-term philanthropic support.

About the role
Case Work-Navigators undertake an exciting role providing the link between formal health and social care and wider community forms of support. You will have the opportunity to work with clients aged 16 years of age and above, helping to identify ways to improve health, sustain wellbeing and quality of daily living.
You will get to know what sort of services and activities best suit people’s needs using a personalised approach. Researching, planning and mapping how a person connects to the service that’s right for them. Play a proactive and key role within primary and acute care and in multi-disciplinary settings, coordinate between these services to achieve positive outcomes for people.
You will enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary way, using your initiative and creativity to contribute to the further integration of wellbeing with formal health and social care services.
About you
You will have previous experience of case working in similar or related setting and working in a personalised way. Have a good understanding of the principles of social prescribing and applying them to people who may have complex situations or circumstances, able to case manage and assess an individuals’ suitability, using a strengths-based approach, to care and support.
You will be ambitious and eager to look at creative ways of supporting people with complex physical, mental health or social issues to regain confidence and feelings of wellbeing. You will be committed to delivering a high-quality service and to achieving the best outcomes for individuals and for the organisation.
You will have the ability to work with internal and external colleagues and teams in a positive and collaborative way, whilst ensuring safety, confidentiality, and professionalism in carrying out service activities.

You will manage our Business Circle and maintain relationships with its members and support
