We are looking for a Foster Scheme Coordinator to coordinate Battersea’s London Foster Scheme, working in conjunction with Operations and Clinic in sourcing suitable temporary homes for those dogs in our London site requiring foster and supporting both foster carers and dogs during their time away from Battersea.
The Foster Scheme Coordinator will maximise further growth impact and development of the Foster Scheme and the engagement and retention of our Foster Carers through the implementation of the Volunteering and Fostering strategy for Battersea.
They will provide guidance and support to existing and potential Foster Carers including managing their expectations.
Finally, they will ensure that all the behavioural and medical needs of foster dogs are met whilst on foster, sometimes dealing with contentious issues in a professional and sensitive manner.

Role Purpose
Grandmentors is our award-winning, inter-generational mentoring project running in almost 20 locations across the UK.We recruit, train and support Volunteer Mentors (normally people aged 50+) who are matched 1:1 with young people (aged 16-26) facing a range of life challenges and barriers. The role
This role is part of the Student Activities department working collectively with colleagues delivering the Guild’s student groups, societies, activities and volunteering work as part the Engagement Directorate.

The Silver Line Helpline is recruiting for 2 Helpline Volunteer Co-ordinators to join their fantastic team providing a vital service to older people across the UK. The Silver Line Helpline is a free, confidential telephone service offering friendship, conversation and support to older people, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As a Helpline Volunteer Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting and growing a valued team of volunteers who deliver a high quality, safe and compassionate service to older people. You’ll ensure volunteers receive a good onboarding experience, feel confident in their role and are supported every step of the way.
Working closely with colleagues across the Helpline, you’ll manage volunteer recruitment and onboarding, deliver training, respond to enquiries, and help volunteers use a range of IT systems. You’ll work flexibly in a fast paced, 24 hour service environment, including taking and making calls to older people when needed. Your work will help ensure volunteers are well trained, supported, and empowered to deliver a consistent, empathetic and safe service.
These exciting positions offer hybrid working between home and our Blackpool office. We currently require office attendance a minimum of once a quarter. You may also be asked to attend the office occasionally for training or other reasons, as required. You will be on a hybrid contract and must cover the costs of all travel to the office yourself. Property Services Officer/Coordinator – Damp & Mould/HHSRS (Awaab’s Law)

The role
We’re looking for a proactive Property Services Officer to support the delivery of safe, compliant homes, with a strong focus on Awaab’s Law, damp and mould, and HHSRS compliance.
You will coordinate repairs, compliance works and void property repairs and improvements, working closely with surveyors, contractors and housing colleagues to ensure works are delivered on time, to standard and in line with service level agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Support the management of damp and mould cases, tracking actions and timescales in line with Awaab’s Law and HHSRS
- Coordinate responsive repairs, compliance works and property repairs, ensuring completion targets and SLAs are met
- Liaise with contractors to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to the required standard
- Monitor progress, chase outstanding actions and escalate delays or quality concerns where needed
- Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation and audit trails
- Assist with contractor compliance checks and invoicing processes
What we’re looking for
- Experience in property services, housing repairs, voids or maintenance coordination

Overview
Involve Community Services is a local infrastructure charity that supports the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sectors of Bracknell Forest and Wokingham Borough. We offer development and governance support, funding advice, grant writing, volunteer and trustee recruitment, and a comprehensive training programme. Role summary
The Community Development Worker will work across Wokingham Borough to assist small charities, community groups and social enterprises who have a health and well-being focus, as well as those organisations who aid residents with protected characteristics. They will assist organisations to find solutions to existing challenges and overcome barriers to optimise their delivery, e.g., through sourcing volunteers, committee members, funding opportunities, forming simple governance structures, and seeking premises.
The post holder will advocate for members of the community with protected characteristics as well as those whose voices are seldom heard, and act as a voice for marginalised groups, to aid inclusive decision making and delivery of services across the borough. Care4Calais is a volunteer-based charity providing essential aid and support for refugees in France and the UK.
In the UK, we collect and distribute clothing, shoes, mobile phones, and other essential items, alongside offering social support and access to legal, medical, and educational services. About the Role
Care4Calais is recruiting an Operations Coordinator to support its humanitarian operations in northern France. We are looking to appoint a dynamic and innovative High Value Manager to help resource our mission and nurture excellent relationships with high value donors.
Key responsibilities: This pivotal role will work with our existing supporters and prospects to provide them with the best possible experience with The Salvation Army.
In addition, as a High Value Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies for donors giving under £10,000, crafting personalised journeys that highlight the impact of their generosity and strengthen their connection to our mission.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Good previous experience of successfully working in a fundraising role, with a demonstrable understanding of the supporter experience, and practical experience of developing and implementing effective supporter/client cultivation strategies to deliver sustained income.
- The ability to write effective communication materials to improve and enhance engagement with high-value supporters, helping them see the impact of their contributions.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relations with high-value supporters.
- Good commercial awareness, with prospect research experience and the ability to engage with new/existing supporters to secure donations, whilst fully aligned with and demonstrating the behaviours and values of the organisation.
- Proven ability to lead improvements and develop new tools to enhance the High Value Donor supporter journey.

Working hours: Minimum of 35 hours per week, working a minimum of 40% across each month in the Territorial Headquarters, London, SE5 8FJ.
