Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Job Summary for Interim Events Fundraising Officer

• We are seeking an experienced Interim Events Fundraising Officer to provide additional support to our friendly and passionate Events Fundraising team over the next 12 months.

• The role will involve delivering a range of UK‑wide challenge events from our established events portfolio.

• You will be passionate about events fundraising and enjoy working as part of a busy, collaborative team.

• The role sits within the Events team in the Mass Supporter Giving department, which generates over £1.3 million in income.

• The Interim Events Fundraising Officer will play a key role in our plans to grow and develop this area of fundraising.

This role will be working with our Mental Health Practitioners who work across Croydon, Merton and Sutton.This role will require experience of working in both a 1:1 and group work setting. For this post, you will need to have 3 years or more post qualification experience as a counsellor and ideally a recognised supervision qualification. We are looking for people with an open and flexible attitude; excellent engagement skills and a passion for working with children and young people around mental health. 

This post is fully office based and will require flexible working across service areas and interventions and may involve one late evening alongside attendance of our Saturday Charity Days.

We are looking for a Caretaker to join our team at Spring School.

You'll work as part of the School Business Support Team to ensure the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained, supporting statutory compliance and operational continuity including all aspects of the site maintenance. This includes security, cleanliness, porterage, routine maintenance and refurbishment, minor repairs, and monitoring activities in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.

You'll carry out repairs and DIY projects, as well as ensuring the school is kept clean and tidy to enable the best environment for learning. You'll conduct maintenance work in the school buildings and the wider grounds, ensuring this is effectively carried out.

• Experience or skills in a trade to support basic building repairs and maintenance

The Role
Work closely with the Regional Fundraising Team Manager and colleagues, contributing to planning, delivery and mitigation across key income streams.

The Candidate
Experience of successfully delivering activity in line with fundraising strategy.

Lifecentre is a charity providing specialist therapeutic services to survivors of rape and sexual abuse. We work from three in-person locations across West Sussex, as well as online and by telephone or email.

We are looking for an experienced therapist, ideally accredited (or working towards accreditation) with BACP, UKCP, BAPT or ACC. Management and safeguarding experience is desirable.

You will be competent in trauma work with people who have experienced rape or sexual abuse and able to demonstrate a solid foundation in delivering three-phase trauma therapy.

We provide:

• Monthly external clinical supervision
• Monthly CPD via Lifecentre team meetings
• Pre-trial therapy training (for successful candidates)
• Support from our Senior Therapists
• IT support
• Development opportunities within Lifecentre’s therapeutic service

We have multiple roles available across our catchment area for a caseload of 10 clients over 2 days, including:

• Chichester, clients aged 12 – 17.
• Worthing, clients aged 12 - 17.
• Worthing, clients aged 18+ (2 vacancies).
• Online*, clients aged 18+.

These roles are offered on a self-employed basis.

Session fee: £32.48 per 1.5-hour session (60 minutes therapy + 30 minutes admin).

* Applicants for the remote delivery role please note: Although Lifecentre already delivers therapy online successfully, we are exploring opportunities to expand our use of remote-only therapists to sustainably increase our clinical capacity. Applications from therapists based outside of our catchment area are welcome.

The successful candidate will initially be offered a closed caseload of 10 clients. Following completion of this caseload, we will review the arrangement and consider continuation.

Oxford Hospitals Charity is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative and organised candidate to join Oxford Hospitals Charity and make a real difference to patients and staff of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This part-time maternity cover role is up to 30 hours per week, worked across our operating hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Your role will support the HR Business partners:

• Responding to initial queries providing clear and consistent practice across a variety of settings generating management reports to monitor sickness absence, performance and employee relations.
• Supporting the HR Business Partners on HR related activities relating to organisational change including TUPE and start-ups, restructuring exercises and job evaluations.

You will be educated to Level 5 CIPD and have an up to date understanding and application of employment related legislation and HR practices.
