About you

As People Support Team Administrator, you work to support our homes with all onboarding and HR administrative queries across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on onboarding.

What You'll be doing 

You'll be at the heart of our onboarding process, helping new colleagues join us smoothly and ensuring managers have the support they need along the way.

You'll:

• Support the onboarding journey from offer through to start date.
• Carry out employment checks, including DBS, references, right to work, qualifications, and occupational health clearances.
• Set up new starters on our HR system and maintain accurate employee records.
• Be a key point of contact for candidates, managers, and colleagues, providing a positive and professional experience.
• Support probation administration and employee lifecycle processes.
• Respond to HR administration and onboarding queries.
• Assist with personnel file audits and compliance checks.
• Maintain shared trackers, inboxes, and employee records.
• Support the wider People Team with administration and reporting tasks.

• Knowledge of employment checks such as references, DBS, and right to work documentation would be beneficial.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work.

Experience within a care organisation or knowledge of CQC recruitment requirements would be an advantage, but it isn't essential.

You'll be confident managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records and using a range of digital systems. From supporting our members and maintaining our CRM to producing communications, updating website content and assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping, you'll play an important role in helping ADCH deliver an efficient and professional service.

As part of a small team, you'll need to be adaptable, self-motivated and happy to take ownership of your work while supporting colleagues across a wide range of activities. You'll be equally comfortable working independently from home and collaborating with the team, with travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays required.

• Essential

About the Role

We are seeking a day support worker for our high-quality, self-contained accommodation for women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage. The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic, trauma and psychologically-informed environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The role is located at an 18-bed, 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham.

In this role, you will provide support to all the women, including co-designing and running activities (such as art groups, self-care sessions, nature walks, cooking activities etc.) and accompanying women to appointments. You will work closely with Specialist Support Workers who manage individual resident support and safety plans.

The service and the wider organisation recognise the high levels of trauma that precede and perpetuate homelessness, and the complex, interconnecting needs that develop against this backdrop (including mental and physical health difficulties, substance misuse, brain injury, emotion dysregulation, interpersonal problems, and stigma and exclusion). The service operates as a best-practice, Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), working in close partnership with homeless mental health experts and includes an in-house psychologist, offering therapeutic input to residents, and support and training to staff. In this role, you will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.

The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rota, covering the hours 07:45 am to 20:15 pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.

Due to the nature of this women’s supported housing service and the needs of the residents, this role is open to women only. This is considered to be an occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Salary: £30,722 - £35,341 (Scale Points 7 – 17)

As a lived experience led organisation, we provide culturally competent, trauma informed and survivor centred support to women from migrant and racially minoritised communities affected by violence against women and girls. As part of the Safe Horizons London Partnership, funded by MOPAC and led by Victim Support, we deliver specialist advocacy and support for women from Latin American communities across London.

About the role

You will provide high quality advocacy, risk management and practical support to women experiencing domestic abuse. You will work closely with survivors to develop safety plans, navigate complex systems and access housing, legal, health and other specialist services.

Role Description The Housing First Support Worker is a full-time, on-site role based in London. Day-to-day tasks include conducting regular home visits, developing personalized support plans, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to address health, substance use, and welfare needs. The Housing First Support Worker will advocate for clients, assist with appointments and benefits, and help service users build skills that support independence and community integration. Record-keeping, risk assessment, and safeguarding responsibilities are also key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in support work or similar roles, with a strong understanding of Housing First or homelessness services.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to build trust and work effectively with diverse service users.

• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and practice, including risk assessment and incident reporting.
• Ability to provide basic technical support, such as helping clients use phones, online services, and digital tools to access benefits and healthcare.

We are looking for new team members to join our service supporting Carers across Havering to improve their health and wellbeing, and access wider support that meets their needs.

This is a great opportunity to support local communities, working with Adult Carers and Young Adult Carers and helping them to make informed choices, build confidence, sustain their independence, and access support that meets their individual needs. You will carry out assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need, working together to co-produce support plans. This will involve meeting Carers in community settings and conducting home visits. The team also facilities coffee mornings and activities offering Carers opportunities for peer support and to take a break from caring.

You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.

We have a part-time role available (22.5 hours), and applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Carers and/or vulnerable adults in a relevant sector. It’s essential that you are confident using IT and maintaining excellent records.
