We are seeking a collaborative and creative Director who is rigorous, centres care and supports people to flourish, to lead our brand new Playhouse Ensembles strand within Playhouse Connect's exciting new chapter.
The Playhouse Ensembles Director will be responsible for leading 10 ensembles in total, including:
- 7 Youth Theatre cohorts,
- Heydays (Creative Ageing) ensemble,
- Theatre of Sanctuary ensemble.
The role holder will take a strategic oversight to the work of the various ensembles and work with freelancers to deliver the sessions. Within this role, you will direct two of the ensembles yourself and manage freelance artists to lead the other ensembles.
The work you enable to happen will respond to the Leeds Playhouse mission and programme, the priorities of our key partners and the emerging needs of the city. Therefore, you will work closely with our Artistic team to ensure the work of the ensembles are in line with the organisation’s overall artistic vision.
This is a full-time, permanent contract of 35 hours a week, with working pattern to be discussed with your manager. Pay for the role is £32,000 per year. About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in major gift fundraising within one of the world's most respected cultural institutions. Brief role description
The NST Client Advisor plays a key role in the NOVA Support Team, acting as the first point of contact for veterans who have served in the UK armed forces and are at risk of, or are involved in, the criminal justice system. The role includes receiving and triaging referrals, making prompt first contact, completing initial registrations and maintaining accurate and detailed records on the case management system to support effective casework.

We are seeking a compassionate and people-focused individual who can build trust and communicate clearly while supporting veterans with a range of complex needs.
You will have experience and guiding and supporting individuals with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to provide accurate advice and direction. You will also be highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases effectively while handling sensitive information with professionalism and care.
You will be proactive, IT confident and able to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also bring an understanding of the justice system, experience using Salesforce, or a similar CRM system, and a resilient, adaptable approach.

- Manage rotas, ensuring there is adequate cover for holiday and sickness

The importance of your role:
Individual giving and corporate support are vital to the delivery of RZSS's ambitious strategy and the Fundraising Manager is a senior role. Working with the Head of Fundraising and colleagues across RZSS, the post-holder will manage a small team to deliver inspiring multi-channel campaigns for individual giving, legacies and patrons as well as expanding a new major donor programme. The postholder will also manage the corporate partners programme and support the expansion of corporate sponsorship opportunities.
This hugely varied role will include responsibility for developing our donor journey, managing relationships with major donors, leading events and donor visits whilst ensuring all supporters receive excellent stewardship. The fundraising team are based in Edinburgh Zoo (albeit this role can be offered as a hybrid position). This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.
Some of the things you’ll do:
- Contribute to and support the implementation and delivery of the fundraising strategy and annual fundraising plans to meet agreed engagement targets
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Fundraising team, implementing innovative strategy and business plans, identifying opportunities, setting, and monitoring targets/budgets to maximise income from funders.
- Manage all aspects of the Fundraising team’s work on donation campaigns, legacy marketing and Patron’s programme. This includes developing the donor journey and working across RZSS teams on all aspects of marketing and implementing multi-channel fundraising campaigns.
