Trinity Winchester is seeking a skilled and experienced Trusts and Grants Fundraiser to join our established team and play a key role in securing income, strengthening revenue streams, and growing sustainable funding for our work.
Trinity is a Winchester-based charity which addresses the effects of homelessness and vulnerability through specialist practical and emotional support, and proactive prevention, empowering positive change.
We help people who are vulnerable to the effects of homelessness, addiction, physical and mental ill health, poverty, social isolation and domestic abuse. We offer solutions, hope, choice and control.
From humble beginnings, Trinity has grown into a respected and skilful organisation helping people to improve their lives. We provide vital practical and emotional support to over 640 people each year who are experiencing the effects of homelessness or vulnerability.
Our dedicated Women’s Service sees over 150 women each year. We support them to make positive change to their lives and in many cases break free from the damaging cycle of domestic abuse.

This role is responsible for generating income from charitable trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to support the organisation’s mission and strategic priorities. The postholder will research opportunities, develop compelling funding applications, manage a pipeline of prospects, and steward funder relationships to secure and retain income. They will also work closely with colleagues across the organisation to gather information, develop budgets, and produce high-quality reports demonstrating impact.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify, research, and prioritise prospective trusts, foundations, statutory funders, and other grant-making bodies that align with the organisation’s work.
· Prepare and submit high-quality, persuasive, and tailored funding applications, proposals, and expressions of interest.
· Develop strong cases for support by working with programme, finance, and senior colleagues to gather evidence, budgets, outcomes, and impact data.
· Manage a pipeline of prospects and applications, ensuring accurate records of deadlines, submissions, decisions, reporting requirements, and income forecasts.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing funders through timely communication, stewardship, and follow-up activity.
· Monitor and coordinate grant reporting, ensuring funders receive accurate and compelling progress and impact reports on time.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation’s trusts and grants fundraising strategy and annual plans.
· Track performance against targets, monitor trends in the funding landscape, and identify opportunities to improve success rates and grow income.

One25 is a Bristol charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most vulnerable women to help them to heal and thrive.
One25 services have been developed to meet women at their point of need, with love and practical support. We do this through our night outreach service which is a lifeline for nearly 135 women on Bristol’s streets. Our specialist caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live. Our Health Hub provides vital access for women to health services, supported by healthcare professionals.
This is an exciting opportunity to join One25 as we recruit a Mental Health Caseworker to join our specialist team. You will be supporting women who street sex work and who face significant barriers to accessing mental health support. This role is key to supporting and advocating for women to have access to mainstream mental health support, while providing trauma informed practical and emotional support to each woman.

Exercise and Socialise is a programme of weekly exercise sessions specially designed for different needs, abilities and interests, but all aimed at the frail and unconfident.
For the financial year 2026/27 we have funding to provide 30 classes across the 5 neighbourhoods in Lambeth, maximising coverage and giving space to local needs.
The primary focus is on improving physical health and confidence and getting people active again and increasing their resilience. But it also has secondary aims of decreasing isolation and improving people's mental health.
Specific Duties
1. To assess referrals that come in and assess their eligibility. Help them choose a suitable class based on their ability.
2. Responsible for sourcing accessible venues.
3. Setting up the groups and engaging paid instructors.
4. To provide regular monitoring and impact reports for our funders, using both qualitative and quantitative data to demonstrate how the support has benefited participants.
5. To regularly monitor the KPIs and outcomes set by funders, ensuring the project remains on track to achieve targets and identifying any areas requiring additional support or improvement.
6. To deliver a diverse mix of exercise groups, including chair yoga, seated aerobics, Tai Chi, and seated jive. Offer low-impact sports like table tennis and weight training, and introduce targeted activities specifically designed to overcome the challenge of engaging older men.
7. To promote the groups at meetings and support our comms team to promote the service.
8. To create referral pathways for health professionals, Social Prescribers Link Workers, Neighbourhood Wellbeing Workers, etc.
General Duties
1. Work closely with the Head of Commercial Services and Volunteering.
2. Develop and maintain links with Public Health and the Community Rehab and Falls team.
3. To recruit tutors/instructors who have adequate qualifications and insurance.
4. To make sure relevant information/registers are collected and put on our Podio system.
5. To have relevant information about clubs, groups and MYSocial so that when the course ends, people have the confidence and fitness to join other exercise/activities.
6. Carry out a wellbeing assessment (via the Outcome Star) and monitor at the beginning and at the end of the course to monitor impact on mobility and wellbeing at the end of the course and record and report findings on Podio.

Background on Dormant Assets NI
In addition to being a distributor of National Lottery funding, The National Lottery Community Fund distributes money released for social purpose as laid out in the Dormant Bank and Building Society Accounts Act 2008 and the Dormant Assets Act 2022.
This legislation enables funds from dormant bank accounts and other financial products to be channelled towards good causes in the United Kingdom through an independent body called the Reclaim Fund.
Funds are distributed to The National Lottery Community Fund, which in turn makes them available for good causes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each devolved administration issues policy directions on how these funds are to be used.
The policy directions issued by the Department of Finance in September 2019 directed The National Lottery Community Fund to establish Dormant Assets NI to build capacity, resilience and sustainability in the third sector across Northern Ireland.

About You
We are seeking two candidates with senior-level experience and strong governance capability. While a range of professional backgrounds will be considered, we are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in finance, IT/cyber security, legal, HR, risk, property, or communications. Experience within the hospitality sector is highly desirable. Above all, candidates must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively as Non-Executive Directors, providing independent judgement, strategic insight, and constructive challenge.
Successful candidates will be able to provide independent oversight, constructive challenge, and strategic guidance to the Board, ensuring the long-term success, sustainability, and effective governance of the company. The Non-Executive Director will contribute to Board decision-making, uphold high standards of corporate governance, and support the Executive Team in delivering agreed objectives.
Remuneration
Non-Executive Directors receive a monthly fee based on an estimated commitment of 24 days per annum, remunerated at a rate of £375 per day. Reasonable, pre-approved expenses incurred in the course of fulfilling the role will also be reimbursed.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
This new role is an integral part of the day-to-day delivery of our Advice and Support Service. The service is targeted at older people in or facing financial hardship, and provides information, advice and follow up support relating to a range of issues, including Welfare Benefits, Social Care and Housing.
As an Adviser (Scottish Housing, Social Care and Welfare Benefits) you will be responsible for providing specialist support to older people, their families and carers through our advice service with their enquiries relating to housing and welfare benefits in Scotland as well as providing generalist level support on a range of issues through our duty service.
You should have in depth, specialist level knowledge of Housing or Welfare Benefits in Scotland (ideally both) as they relate to older people, and experience working within a high-volume advice setting and advice supervision framework. We plan to expand our advice offer in Scotland to cover Social Care, so knowledge in this area would also be beneficial. You should be able to travel within Scotland, including to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Purpose of the role
To deliver the Day One Casework bedside model to patients, or those closest to them, impacted by serious or multiple injuries which could result in life changing consequences, such as disability or death, within Salford Northern Care Alliance, providing support on some of the wards (such as rehabilitation), on-site clinics and other settings (e.g. rehabilitation centres).
Have a visible physical presence within the Trust, becoming embedded into clinical teams focussing on major trauma pathways, facilitating outpatient and in-person legal clinics.
To work closely with those impacted by serious and life-changing injury, taking referrals and carrying out initial assessments of need, expertly navigating, signposting and putting services in place in the immediate aftermath of major trauma, including talking about and facilitating timely access to legal support to aid rehabilitation.
To establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders to promote Day One and address the needs of those affected by serious and life-changing injury.
To work as part of the wider Day One Service’s team and organisation, taking responsibility for own record keeping and data collection in line with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilites:
Work closely, and in partnership, with NHS clinical staff and relevant community and voluntary sector organisations, to address the needs of patients, and those closest to them, affected by serious and life-changing injury.
Operate a case management approach to individuals, assessing and identifying needs, putting support in place including signposting, making referrals and direct support.
Provide consistency in assessment of all patients and their loved ones, irrespective of injury cause, age, status, giving access to the earliest possible specialist legal advice which supports rehabilitation and NHS cost recovery.
Maintain detailed case records, including accurate records of activity and intervention, using Day One’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, capturing and storing data in line with Day One policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Contributing towards report writing through the writing case studies and narrative to support data collection.
Implement processes and procedures to collect patient and family feedback and contribute to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of Day One services through providing relevant information, case studies and reports.
Deliver awareness raising presentations to clinical colleagues and departments.
Organise and facilitate outpatient and in person legal clinic drop-in sessions.
Build awareness of the role and charity’s purpose through building strong and effective relationships across the regional major trauma network, ensuring those who need it have access to Day One support.
Work closely with local authority, statutory and voluntary organisations to provide patient and family support and advocacy.
Help establish other support mechanisms once a person is no longer within the hospital setting, supporting the patient discharge process in conjunction with leadership from NHS staff.
Identify and support the recruitment and supervision of Day One volunteers, where appropriate.
Work closely in partnership with our Peer Support Service, focussed on promoting awareness and uptake within the region.
Work closely with the wider team on performance, quality, safety and effectiveness of all services, ensuring appropriate safeguarding policies are followed.
Work closely with our Fundraising and Communications team, supporting national activity, as well as regional initiatives to raise awareness and fundraise.

About the role
The Head of Policy and Humanitarian Affairs manages a small dynamic team based in London, who take the lead, as requested, on the delivery of relevant strategies in the UK and Ireland, the main objectives of which are twofold: (i) to contribute towards enabling ICRC action to protect and assist people affected by armed conflict (AC) and other situations of violence; (ii) to influence the debate and secure improved decision-making on issues relevant to conflict, humanitarian action and international humanitarian law.
Reporting to and working as adviser to the ICRC Head of Delegation (advising as well his deputy), the Head of Policy and Humanitarian Affairs develops and oversees the implementation of the delegation’s policy and humanitarian affairs strategy in the UK and Ireland, ensuring it is in line with the ICRC’s overall strategy. He/she is a member of ICRC’s global network of policy and humanitarian advisors, interacting regularly with the Policy and Humanitarian Diplomacy Divisions/Units at headquarters as well as with delegations around the world, thus contributing to policy formulation and ICRC’s humanitarian diplomacy.

We’re recruiting an Events Coordinator to help run our city-centre climate action hub, called Imagine Leeds. Imagine Leeds is an innovative venue where people come together to plan and take action on climate, nature and social justice. It is part of the Climate Action Leeds Network, which was established in 2020.
This post is part of a three-year funding package of £493,000 to support community climate action in Leeds. The funding comes from the National Lottery, Leeds Community Foundation, Bunzl, the University of Leeds and North Star Coffee Roasters.
