We are now seeking an experienced and compassionate People and Wellbeing Manager to join us on an interim basis and help lead us through an exciting period of organisational development.

This is a newly established role created as part of our growth journey. Historically, HR responsibilities have sat within our Operations function, but as the organisation has expanded, we recognise the need for dedicated HR leadership to strengthen our people practices, wellbeing offer, and organisational culture.

This is a hands-on role that will lead our HR, wellbeing, recruitment, learning and development, and people culture activity.

You will act as a trusted and impartial point of contact for staff, freelancers, and sessional workers while helping us embed sustainable HR systems, processes, and ways of working that will support the organisation into its next phase.

Brief role description

The Key Account Manager will drive employer engagement across the Technology and Manufacturing Sectors.

In this role you will build and develop strategic relationships with employers to create high-quality career opportunities for the Armed Forces community, including Service Leavers, Veterans, Reservists and their families. You will play a key part in connecting talented individuals with forward-thinking organisations while shaping sector-specific pathways aligned to future workforce needs.

You will shape and deliver an insight-led employer engagement approach that reflects sector needs, creating meaningful opportunities across a range of roles while building strong talent pipelines. The role will also involve targeted campaigns and representing the organisation through high-quality events and engagement activities that connect employers with the Armed Forces community.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to have extensive experience in business development and networking and have a comprehensive understanding of recruitment and selection.

You will need to be a motivated self-starter, with an ability to deliver output against demanding schedules. You will also need to have strong presentation and administrative skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate empathy and an understanding of the Armed Forces community, including the unique challenges and strengths related to their employability. They will also have experience in marketing and public relations and be resilient, adaptable and capable of managing the demands of the role with a proactive approach.

Although this is a home-based role, you should be based within a reasonable commuting distance to London to attend key meetings, networking events and employer engagements as required.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Edinburgh Skylight as a Receptionist/Administrator in our Crisis Skylight Edinburgh Team. You will be there to welcome people who are homeless seeking advice and start the process of helping them to end their homelessness.

You will support the team to manage a busy working environment, welcoming and supporting a range of people including new Skylight members, current members, staff, Crisis volunteers and visitors. You will provide administrative support for this fast and responsive service to those newly presenting as homeless. You will also carry out administration and housekeeping functions relating to the customer service and facilities management of Cranston House. This role is based onsite with no option for homeworking.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be highly organised with experience of working within a reception or administrative support role, as well as experience providing a high standard of customer service. We are looking for someone who understands the issues faced by homeless people and is excited to learn about the ways we can support them. You will be able to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs, to reach a positive resolution through a calm and confident approach.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups and individuals. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team. As you will be the first point of contact for many people, you need to be friendly, enjoy helping and be willing to learn about Crisis and all the other activities taking place within the building.

It also requires a confident communicator with a keen eye for detail, but with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture. The role requires an individual with a proven track record of managing, coaching, and delegating effectively to a diverse team while protecting workloads and well-being.

The successful candidate will possess experience navigating complex corporate stakeholder environments, confidently engaging with senior leadership, and handling difficult conversations. The Learning & Development Officer is responsible for working closely with the Director of People & Organisational Development in supporting the design, delivery and development of the education and training across the hospice group.

They will coordinate and organise all in house and external training programmes, maintain accurate records, monitor compliance and support a learning culture across St Giles. They will provide full support for preparing documentation, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and deadlines are met.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with delivering learning sessions, handling and dealing with all requests that come through the L&D department, supporting with data, audit, evaluations and coordinating all invoices.

About This Role

This is an exciting new opportunity to be part of a project within our Wraparound Service in the UK. As Psychological Therapist, key aspects of your role will be:

• Facilitation of Reflective Practice for residential staff to help support therapeutically informed practice, staff resilience and emotional wellbeing.

About the Service and the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to work with the Operational Services Manager (Blended Teams) to manage the daily operations of our Blended Teams functions.

This includes managing a core team of workers in a diverse range of projects and services often in partnership with the NHS and other VCSE and community groups. The role will involve multi-agency working and ensuring the continuous development of our services to ensure that they meet the needs of the community and blended team outcomes.

Ideally, you will be required to have knowledge of managing remote teams who may be imbedded in NHS services and the ideal candidate would have the skills to support staff with the complex challenges that come with blended working as well as maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders. You will also be required to hold your own caseload, supporting the teams with more complex service users and cover gaps in services.

Key Responsibilities and Service Delivery

• Operate a service and ensure outcomes which support individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in line with Mind BLMK’s and blended team model and contract requirements.
• Work with the Operational Services Manager (Blended Teams) and senior managers to ensure the management of an effective workforce including recruitment and performance management challenges
• Ensure that services with complex partnerships and remote teams are effectively managed and maintained, through effective relationship building and multi-agency working.
• Ensure regular involvement of service users, volunteer and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies.
• Assess suitability for community connection support as part of a blended team approach and support individuals to access the service by utilising in depth knowledge of local voluntary and community services and networks.
• To work with individuals to coproduce a plan to address their mental health and wellbeing goals. Enable people to achieve these goals through facilitating access and connecting with appropriate resources.
• Enable people to access community resources which may include accompanying them.
• Offer support, guidance and help where possible to people to gain confidence, overcome initial fears and seek solutions to any barriers inhibiting attendance.
• Take a holistic approach, based on the individuals’ priorities and wider determinants of health that impact on their health and wellbeing, such as debt, poor housing, being unemployed, loneliness and caring responsibilities.
• To work as part of an integrated team to ensure the best outcomes for each person accessing the service.
• Maintain an effective workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of crisis workers, peer support workers and volunteers).
• Hold responsibility for health and safety, data collection and cash handling in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures and guidance.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing diverse staff resources, multi-agency working, 2 years’ experience working with people with mental health and managing remote teams. Level 3 Social Care (or equivalent) and Management and Leadership qualifications are desirable.

JOB PURPOSE

Fundraising and Income Generation

• Support the organisation to achieve fundraising and income generation targets.
• Research and monitor trusts, foundations, corporate, statutory and tender opportunities, maintaining accurate records of prospective funders, deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Maintain an up-to-date funding pipeline and funding calendar.
• Gather and coordinate evidence, data and supporting information required for grant applications, tenders, expressions of interest and funding reports.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of funding applications and tender responses.
• Coordinate fundraising appeals and donor engagement activities.
• Draft and distribute appeal letters, donor updates and stewardship communications.
• Support funder reporting and grant monitoring requirements.
• Monitor emerging funding opportunities and sector developments and share opportunities with relevant managers.

Systems and Administration

• Maintain accurate fundraising, impact and stakeholder engagement records.
• Support the development and maintenance of databases and reporting systems.
• Coordinate surveys, consultations and feedback exercises.
• Produce regular reports to support management, governance and business development activities.
• Ensure information is recorded, stored and managed in accordance with GDPR and organisational policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiency across impact data collection and reporting, fundraising and stakeholder reporting activities.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade and purpose of the role, as reasonably required by the Line Manager or to meet the needs of the organisation.

Effective financial control is central to our strategy and operating model. The finance officer plays an essential role in maintaining control over our finances and operations. You will process and monitor financial transactions, liaise with our payroll bureau regarding staff payroll and pensions and support the Head of finance. You will be experienced in using Dynamics 365 Business Central as an accounting system.

This is a part-time role for two days a week (0.4FTE), with flexibility about when the hours are worked. It's a hybrid role, working from home and from our office. You will report to our Head of finance. You will also work with all staff on financial matters including personal and credit card expenses, central and project income and expenditure, and processing of payroll by liaising with our external bureau.

This is an exciting new post that will give you the space and support to grow our Communities & Culture offer, from cultural festivals and participatory arts to community gatherings and creative workshops. You will work alongside artists, community groups, and partners to build something truly meaningful, while also playing a key role in LAH's wider organisational development.

The Senior Seafood Program Manager works closely with our funder and implementation partner,

Humanity United, acting as a strategic thought partner to advance our shared goals. The role will hold overall responsibility for management of the portf

olio including program and strategy development, budgeting, monitoring and reporting and grant-making.

The role holder will represent the Freedom Fund at high level sectoral events; engaging with a wide range of stakeholders related to the program, building connections that advance our shared priorities.

This role is a fixed term contract, aligned to our next phase of funding partnership with Humanity United for the Asia Pacific seafood program.  The position is expected to commence in September 2026 and continue through to December 2028, with the possibility of an extension.
