This is a pivotal moment for the Key Relationships function as a newly formalised Events & Operations hub is established, with donor-facing events and the operational systems and processes that underpin high-value fundraising being brought together into a cohesive function. This integrated approach will ensure outstanding donor experiences alongside robust infrastructure to support pipeline management, forecasting, reporting and income growth.

We are looking for an exceptional Events & Operations Manager to lead this new hub, manage a team of two staff, and shape how events and operational infrastructure work together to support Major Donor, Trusts & Foundations, Legacy and Key Influencer programmes.

This role will suit a self-starter who is comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and who takes genuine satisfaction in shaping a new role around the needs of the team. The postholder will be confident operating in ambiguity, able to take the lead in defining processes, and proactive in establishing clear, effective ways of working.

As Events & Operations Manager, you will:

• Lead the newly established Events & Operations hub within the Key Relationships team, managing and developing a team of two staff while actively delivering across both functions
• Plan, design and deliver high-quality donor-facing events, taking full ownership from briefing and creative concept through to meticulous execution and evaluation
• Deliver capital campaign ask events, donor networking events and supporter access moments for the key relationships team
• Work closely Team Heads to ensure events meet their objectives and are delivered to a high standard
• Work with Executive Directors to ensure they are well briefed when speaking at or attending events
• Lead on systems, infrastructure and compliance including CRM oversight, data integrity, GDPR, income reconciliation, forecasting, reporting and dashboarding in partnership with Finance and Data teams
• Oversee prospect research, pipeline management and performance tracking to ensure the operational backbone is in place for the Key Relationships team to be effective and drive income growth
• This is a hands-on leadership role that will actively deliver across events and operations while leading and developing others

Ideal skills and experience:

• Significant experience planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality donor or stakeholder events across in-person, hybrid and digital formats, with clear evidence of aligning events to cultivation and stewardship objectives
• Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, meet deadlines, maintain high standards of detail and manage budgets effectively
• Demonstrable experience working in an operations or support role, with responsibility for coordinating systems, processes and infrastructure that underpin fundraising or relationship management activity
• Proven ability to design, improve and embed efficient, compliant systems and processes, including gift administration, data integrity, income reconciliation and structured pipeline management
• Strong experience using CRM databases or similar platforms, maintaining accurate data, overseeing data quality and confidently learning new systems and reporting tools
• Experience of leading and supporting others within a small team, contributing to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing culture while remaining comfortable with hands-on delivery

Public fundraising and engagement will be central to that strategy, and as Head of Public Fundraising & Engagement, you will play a leading role in shaping it.

We already have strong foundations to build on. Recent testing of private site fundraising for both organisations has exceeded KPIs, showing strong public appetite to support our work. We also have the opportunity to learn from The Felix Project’s success in London and explore how proven approaches can be adapted and scaled nationally.

About the role

The Head of Public Fundraising & Engagement will lead our public fundraising portfolio. This newly created role will oversee Individual Giving and Legacies, Community Fundraising, Mass Participation and Challenge Events, and Fundraising Operations, with five direct reports.

You will be accountable for public fundraising income and performance, whilst also helping to bring together teams, systems and ways of working following the merger. You’ll sit on both the Fundraising Senior Management Team and the organisation’s Senior Management Team, contributing to organisation-wide strategy, decision-making and culture.

You will play a key role in shaping our three-year public fundraising strategy, ensuring it is ambitious, realistic and rooted in audience insight.

Whilst much of the portfolio is delivered through Senior Managers, there is particular scope and opportunity, to shape the future of Community and Mass Fundraising – where we’ve deliberately protected delivery while leaving space for the new Head to define long-term strategy, growth and resource.

You’ll also play a leading role in embedding a new organisational brand once agreed.

What you’ll be responsible for

Setting direction and growing income

•Champion the growth of long-term sustainable income that supports the organisation’s 3–5-year income ambitions.

•Strengthen our regular giving proposition and performance, embedding a clear strategy for acquisition, retention and lifetime value growth.

•Shape and deliver the organisation’s three-year public fundraising strategy.

•Set the overall direction for public fundraising and lead its delivery.

Innovation and new product development

•Work collaboratively with colleagues to shape and embed the organisation’s innovation framework within public fundraising, ensuring disciplined testing, learning and scaling.

•Contribute a public fundraising perspective to cross-organisational and directorate innovation priorities, ensuring opportunities are commercially viable and audience-led.

•Lead the development of new fundraising products, propositions and approaches, from ideas through to testing and scale.

•Explore new ways for people to engage and give – particularly in acquisition-led activity such as face-to-face, digital and mass fundraising.

•Use insight, data and supporter feedback to shape and refine new ideas.

Shaping Community and Mass Fundraising

•    Make a hands-on strategic lead in shaping the future direction of Community and Mass Fundraising.

•Build on recent business planning that has protected delivery whilst leaving space for longer-term strategic choices.

•    Identify growth opportunities and test new approaches to help define future operating models.

•Build momentum and organisational confidence in areas with significant untapped potential.

•Increase partnerships with small and medium-sized corporates within Community Fundraising, developing scalable propositions that can grow nationally, working in partnership with network partners.

Working with our network partners

•Play a leading role in shaping how we fundraise with, for and alongside our network partners in the public fundraising space, working closely with the Senior Network Fundraising Manager.

•Work collaboratively to explore ideas, test approaches and unlock opportunities that benefit both the network and the organisation.

•Ensure public fundraising activity reflects the stories and impact of our network partners in a respectful and sensitive way.

Developing high-potential partnerships

•Lead the strategic development of high-profile partnerships including our newly launched three-year partnership with Nectar.

•Work closely with internal teams and external partners to grow reach, impact and value over time.

•Develop and embed a robust a partnership strategy for within public fundraising, to ensure we are maximising opportunities with third party providers.

Shaping our legacy fundraising proposition

•Take a strategic lead in developing our legacy fundraising approach, working closely with the Senior IG & Legacy Manager.

•Shape a compelling legacy proposition linked to our impact, values and volunteer workforce – an area of untapped potential.

•Ensure legacy fundraising asks are integrated into wider supporter journeys and long term planning.

•Build organisational confidence, capability and momentum in this area over time.

Brand embedding and supporter acquisition

•Play a leading role in embedding the new organisational brand across all public fundraising activity once agreed.

•Work closely with colleagues in Marketing & Communications to ensure fundraising needs are reflected in the new brand as it develops over time.

•Support your team to translate brand strategy into practical, high-performing fundraising activity.

Merger transition and CRM

•Play a senior role in the organisation’s merger transition, with particular focus on the Fundraising Transition, working closely with the Fundraising Transition Lead, ensuring that public fundraising’s priorities are reflected in change planning.

•Act as the senior fundraising lead for the implementation of a combined CRM, ensuring public fundraising needs shape system design, data structure, reporting and supporter journeys.

•Work closely with colleagues in digital, data and IT, as well as external partners, to ensure systems support future growth and great supporter experiences.

•Help modernise processes and ways of working so the organisation can scale effectively.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will build, lead, and deliver a new programme that maximises income from corporate supporters and aligns partners with our mission to save lives. ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of RLSS UK’s new corporate fundraising function, create a sustainable strategy, and build a strong pipeline from the ground up.

You will identify, secure, and grow high-value partnerships that align with corporate priorities, producing compelling and commercially compelling propositions that demonstrate clear mutual benefit. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will ensure partnerships support RLSS UK’s mission and contribute to long term income growth.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy and Planning

• Develop and deliver RLSS UK’s first corporate partnerships strategy, setting clear priorities and income targets for year one and beyond.
• Lead the development of a corporate partnerships income stream, building a sustainable portfolio of partnerships and relationships.
• Create the foundations for growth including a case for support, stewardship framework, pitch decks and templates and KPI and reporting tools.
• Establish systems and internal processes required for a corporate fundraising function.
• Use sector insights, benchmarking, and data to inform strategy and identify opportunities for growth.

Partnership Development

• Build and actively manage a new business pipeline from scratch, ensuring consistent prospecting and follow up.
• Conduct in-depth prospect research to identify target companies, align commercial priorities, and map key decision makers.
• Develop compelling, tailored proposals, pitches, and partnership packages that clearly articulate impact and mutual value.
• Secure a diverse portfolio of partnerships including multi-year strategic, six-figure, Charity of the Year, cause-related marketing, and sponsorship agreements.
• Create cultivation journeys for high-value prospects, maintaining momentum from first contact to close.
• Represent RLSS UK externally at meetings, events, and networking opportunities, confidently positioning the organisation with senior stakeholders.

Account Management

• Provide effective day-to-day relationship management to ensure partners feel supported, informed, and engaged with RLSS UK’s mission.

• Identify and activate opportunities to expand partnerships across corporate philanthropy, payroll giving, strategic volunteering, sponsorship, cause-related marketing, and employee engagement.

Reporting and Evaluation

• Use data-driven insights and KPIs to evaluate and refine strategies for maximum impact, income growth, and return on investment.
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, UK GDPR, and RLSS UK policies.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information within the CRM system.
• Deliver annual reviews for partnerships to demonstrate impact and ensure all partnerships are meeting agreed KPIS.
• Identify emerging trends and opportunities to diversify income streams and enhance brand visibility.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Events and Community Fundraising Executive to take responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Whizz Kidz third-party events portfolio, including the London Marathon and Great North Run, and supporting our community fundraisers to raise vital funds.

You will support our events from set up and planning, recruiting and stewarding supporters whilst maintaining an excellent level of supporter care. We are seeing a growth in the number of fundraisers, so it is an exciting time to join Team Whizz Kidz.

Key accountabilities as our Events and Community Fundraising Executive include:

• Being the first point of contact for enquiries from events participants and community fundraisers

• Able to build and develop relationships with fundraisers

• Responsible for general administrative duties such as coding income, thanking supporters and managing and maintaining accurate records on Microsoft Dynamics

• Support on event days with logistics and set up

• Support with volunteer recruitment for the London Marathon

• Produce tailored materials, e.g. fundraising packs and newsletters to motivate and support event participants.

• Work in partnership with our Whizz Kidz running coach to ensure content is received on time and to an agreed standard.

• Work and maintain third-party event platforms

• Responsible for some of Get Involved section of the website, ensuring it regularly updated and optimised

• Maintain webforms to ensure relevant data is captured at the point of sign up

• Support on event marketing campaigns with the Events Fundraising Manager

• Develop and deliver motivating stewardship journeys

• Build strong working relationships with other members of the Events and Community team and the wider Fundraising team and support other team members when required

• Work across internal teams to market places, ensure our participants our supported in the most appropriate way and spot cross-selling opportunities

The Upper Room (TUR) works with individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, social exclusion and involvement with the criminal justice system. Through UR4Meals, UR4Driving and UR4Jobs, we provide practical support, dignity and opportunity to some of the most disadvantaged members of our community in West London.

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is seeking an inspiring and strategic Fundraising Director to lead our fundraising activity and help to drive the next phase of our growth.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy, ensuring a strong, diverse and sustainable income portfolio that enables us to reach more people and move closer to a world where all breast cancers are diagnosed early. • Work directly with clinical teams to align volunteer support with operational needs, guaranteeing smooth running of hospice activities.
• Ensure all volunteers receive regular feedback and adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Maintain and develop the programme in line with Investing in Volunteers standards.

4. Donor Relations & Stakeholder Engagement

• Cultivate, steward, and strengthen long-term relationships with key donors, sponsors, community partners, and supporters.
• Support the delivery of fundraising events such as community fairs, and photography competitions, attracting large public support. Support the team during gala dinners and garden parties. Oversee the Events Executive in all areas of their role.
• Enhance the Hospice’s visibility and supporter engagement through partnership building and community presence.

5. Data, Finance & Compliance

• Ensure all donor and volunteer records are held and maintained under GDPR and internal data protection regulations.

Zoe’s Place is unique, we are the only baby specific Hospices in the U.K., with hospices located in Middlesbrough and Coventry and strive to promote and maintain our commitment to the local communities in each area.

The primary purpose of this position is to lead and manage the fundraising team, supporting income generation to successfully meet annual objectives. The individual in this role will oversee the strategic planning and execution of all fundraising initiatives at our Middlesbrough Hospice.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Fundraising Executives provide support to the wider Fundraising team assisting with all aspects of fundraising activity. Three Fundraising Executives are managed by the Head of Fundraising and support fundraising activity across 11 segments of income generation. The role provides an opportunity to gain a level of understanding and knowledge about each income stream and donor stewardship.

The Fundraising Executive is a varied role with involvement in each stage of fundraising activity, from research and planning to campaign or event delivery and then income processing and thanking of donors and supporters. The successful candidate will be passionate about learning about fundraising and how we as a team raise the vital funds needed to provide Trinity’s care for future patients and their loved ones. 

This is an entry level role that is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about fundraising and make their first step in developing a fundraising career. 

The successful candidate will:

·Open mail and process cheques and donations to the fundraising database, ensuring donations are accurately recorded and thanked in a timely way.

·Support with email and written correspondence with donors and grant makers 

·Assist Fundraising Managers with research and administrative support.

·Join the team at fundraising events (at the hospice and in our community) raising the profile of the hospice and encouraging support (events include hospice events and external events such as London Marathon).

·Support our reach to fundraising audiences through social media and other channels.

·Work collaboratively with the Events Coordinator to provide logistical and practical assistance in the planning and hosting of our key fundraising events (including Summer Garden Party, Summer Solstice, Concert at the Hospice, Gala Dinner, Christmas Fair and Christmas Carol Concert and others).

·Maintain excellent internal relationships with the Communications team, as well as the Hospice clinical teams and other stakeholders.

·Support the wider Fundraising team providing support and participating in other duties where required. 

Experience, knowledge, skills, and characteristics

Required:

·Enthusiasm to learn about fundraising and contribute to the Compton team activity.

·Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·A friendly and confident demeanour and a desire to engage and communicate with people from all parts of the community.

·A proactive and results-driven attitude with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and take initiative.

·A passion for fundraising and creating meaningful change – particularly at a local level.

·Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of general software packages (i.e. MS Office, Word, Excel).

·Availability to work onsite at least three days per week.

·Paid or voluntary fundraising experience plus a basic understanding of charitable giving.
