About the role
This is a hands-on role for an experienced organiser who will lead key aspects of our community organising practice. You'll design and deliver training workshops, coach emerging organisers, and build meaningful relationships with both partner organisations and individual members to expand our movement.
Working with campaign teams across the UK, you'll ensure organising principles are woven throughout our programmes whilst supporting communities to build power, win campaigns, and develop new leaders. World Cancer Research Fund champions the latest and most authoritative scientific research from around the world on cancer prevention and survival through diet, weight and physical activity, so that we can empower people to make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk.
We are seeking an inspiring, strategic and collaborative leader to shape and deliver WCRF’s Health Information and Support strategy across three core audiences: the general public, health professionals and cancer survivors. The team turns WCRF’s scientific evidence on cancer prevention and survival into practical, accessible information, training and support based on our Cancer Prevention Recommendations. The postholder will lead and develop the team, ensuring its work is innovative, evidence-based, high quality and demonstrably effective.
Working across Science, Policy, Fundraising, Communications and Engagement, you will create new ways to share our health information, improve existing resources and services, and build impactful partnerships. You will ensure that public and patient insight shapes our work from cancer prevention to survivorship, strengthen programmes for health professionals and make effective use of digital channels. Responsibilities include contributing to our Medical Education programme, participating in working and steering groups and speaking at national conferences, networking at events, engaging corporate audiences and acting as a spokesperson in broadcast and print media. Ultimately, you will help establish WCRF as the go-to source of information and support on the links between cancer, nutrition and lifestyle.

You will bring substantial experience in areas such as health information or education, working with healthcare professionals, UK health policy, health science or research, or marketing health information and services. We are looking for a Communications and Digital Campaigns Coordinator/Lead to work with Feeding Liverpool’s Food Alliance partners and staff team to increase the reach and collective impact of our work through communications, digital campaigns and storytelling.
The role will enable the food alliance in Liverpool to embrace and promote the voices and perspectives of Liverpool’s communities and partners - an essential step in creating a more equitable food system for everybody in the city.

Brief Role Description:
This role will lead communications at Carers Leeds with the aim of identifying and engaging carers; raising awareness of caring and influencing others in the city to act to benefit carers; and fundraising. The postholder will work closely with the CEO, the Senior and Operational Management Teams to design and deliver the organisation’s communications strategy and plans.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Job purpose:
The Communications Co-ordinator will be responsible for the delivery of NACCOM’s communications strategy. The postholder will co-ordinate all media relations, both proactive and reactive, maintaining excellent relationships with journalists and ensuring high level visibility of key projects and the issue of migrant homelessness and destitution more broadly. 1. Supervise and develop Trainee Debt Advisers

Promote best practice, share learning, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Debt Free Academy and wider training programme.

Work collaboratively with colleagues across Toynbee Hall and the Debt Free Advice partnership, undertaking additional duties as required to support the effective delivery of the Debt Free Academy, organisational objectives and funder requirements.

We are looking for a Service Lead and a Support Worker to join our team on a fixed term contract to help guide children and families on their healing journey.
Position: Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) Service Lead
Fixed term full time – 37 hours per week, weekdays
Location: Oxford or Reading with frequent travel. Role covers casework activity across Oxfordshire.
Salary range: £35,502 to £43,389 per annum

About the roles:
As a Service Lead you will play a significant role in supporting children and families affected by domestic abuse, some of your key responsibilities will be to:

· deliver group work for children and parents
· provide 1-2-1 sessions to children and families most in need

· ensure BB4K activities are planned, coordinated and deliver effectively and manage caseload across the team

About you:
A successful Service Lead will have professional expertise in the field of domestic abuse and hold a qualification or professional experience in social care or childcare support work.
You’ll be experienced at managing a team with effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and colleagues. You’ll also have experience of working with vulnerable parents and/or children in a range of community settings and adept at delivering groupwork programmes.
A successful Support Worker will need a good understanding of domestic abuse and the impact on children and families (or an interest in working in this field), with experience of delivering groupwork programmes for vulnerable parents and/or children.

In this role, you will deliver life-changing legal advice to vulnerable migrants, while using your frontline insights to contribute directly to strategic campaigns, research, and policy work that challenge the systemic causes of injustice.

The role
You will provide high-quality legal advice and representation at IAA Level 2/3 or Solicitor standard. Your diverse casework will range from assisting sponsored workers on high-risk visas, to managing complex human rights cases and supporting victims of modern slavery and trafficking. Crucially, your work will not happen in isolation. You will work closely with our employment advice team on overlapping cases, collaborate with policy and comms colleagues to evidence systemic issues, and help deliver public legal information and training.
About you
We seek an enthusiastic professional with at least 3 years of experience delivering high-quality immigration advice, who demonstrates a deep empathy for the experiences of vulnerable migrants.
You will also have:
Level 2 or 3 IAA accreditation OR status as a qualified Solicitor eligible to practice in England and Wales.
A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in law or a related subject.
At least 3 years’ experience providing immigration legal advice in compliance with IAA/SRA standards.
Excellent legal research, analytical, and case management skills, with the ability to manage complex caseloads and tight deadlines.
Outstanding client management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to lay persons clearly and compassionately.
A collaborative, team-first mindset and a commitment to the mission and values of the Work Rights Centre.
Desirable: Knowledge of Modern Slavery and the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), familiarity with social welfare law, or proficiency in a language other than English.
