The post holder will be based in our Maggie’s West London centre and will be required to travel on a weekly basis between our three London centres- Maggie’s West London, Barts and Royal Free.
As an integral member of the Fundraising Team, the London Fundraising Assistant will support the delivery of a range of successful fundraising activity based around the three centres, in order to maximise income for Maggie’s.
As Fundraising Administrator, you will welcome and support visitors within the centre in their fundraising for Maggie’s as well as in the local community and ensuring they are motivated, informed and supported.
This is a demanding role in a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently.
There will be a requirement to work irregular hours as well as frequent travel in the London area.

Purpose of the Job
This role is pivotal to the success of FareShare in the region. This individual is ultimately responsible for the leadership, development and direction FareShare’s operations locally. The individual will offer a holistic view of the operation within the setting of the local need and ensure that there is an innovative approach to meeting this need within the confines of complete compliance and operational safety. The role will manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of the Regional Centre in liaison with other key managers. They will also manage and support the Regional Centre staff and volunteers, leading by example to ensure that our ambitious targets are met and ensure continuity of delivery standards within the guidelines of FareShare national policies and procedures and the needs of the local community.
FareShare UK has ambitious strategic goals and targets and this role provides the conduit to meeting these with the region. They will focus on meeting growth targets and operational excellence and report effectively on these to FareShare UK’s central teams and partners. This role is FareShare’s ambassador locally and will make connections with stakeholders in other not-for-profit organisations, local government, funding bodies and local media sources on our behalf.
The role is responsible for the sustainability of the region both in terms of financial sustainability through earned income and creating and delivery innovative projects to further the mission.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create and develop strategy and business models in line with organisational strategy to accept and redistribute all food to our communities
- Manage and work within budgets, including forecasting, to increase income and improve costs
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of our people and responsible for Food Safety through working closely with the Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager
- Maximise the social and environmental impact of food redistribution through following our Charity Eligibility criteria
- Line Management responsibility for a team of Managers, ensuring that all staff and volunteers have the knowledge and training required to deliver their objectives
- Ensuring high levels of data accuracy and accurate, timely reporting to Leadership Teams

About the Role
The role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising (CEF) directorate and reports to its director. The team serves the needs of the organisation by engaging a range of key audiences through various media channels, volunteer engagement, events and fundraising. Job Title: Individual Giving Manager Department: Income Generation and Partnership Development

Role purpose:
To develop and deliver an Earthwatch individual giving programme. The role will focus on identifying opportunities to engage supporters, implementing activities to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, and increasing financial contributions from new and existing supporters. Lead and Direct Income Generation and Future Fundraising for Swindon Food Collective
The role has key responsibility for all income generation activities at Swindon Food Collective. This includes high-profile networking with local businesses, corporations and the public sector, processing grant applications, growing and managing key corporate partnerships and significantly increasing fundraising activities. This is a senior role and the role-holder will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The work involves undertaking frequent travel to local corporations, businesses, and wider public sector stakeholders.
Role Purpose
To design, deliver and secure a multi-stream recurring income generation strategy, manage charity-wide philanthropy, and strengthen long-term financial resilience.
Key responsibilities
Strategy and planning
• Develop and deliver a 12–24-month income generation plan aligned to SFC priorities and the Trustee Strategy & Fundraising Committee.
• Build a balanced income mix (corporate, philanthropy, trusts, community and digital where appropriate), with clear targets and resource assumptions.
• Produce compelling cases for support and pitch materials tailored to different audiences.
Corporate partnerships and sponsorship
• Identify, cultivate and secure corporate partnerships and sponsorships (including 'charity of the year' and payroll giving where feasible).
• Design partnership packages (benefits, brand alignment, staff engagement, volunteering) and manage delivery and stewardship.
• Work closely with the Brand Ambassador & Events Manager to convert event leads into partnership conversations.
Philanthropy, major donors and relationship fundraising
• Build and steward relationships with high-value supporters, ensuring excellent donor care and personalised stewardship.
• Manage a prospect pipeline (research, cultivation plans, asks, stewardship and renewals).
• Coordinate CEO and trustee involvement in high-value relationships where appropriate.
Trusts, foundations and grant fundraising
• Own the trusts and foundations pipeline, from identifying funders to writing compelling bids and submitting applications.
• Coordinate impact evidence and data collection across SFC to strengthen applications and reporting.
• Complete and undertake all funding and grant applications (corporate and public sector) in a timely fashion and ahead of relevant deadlines. Report funding progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and high-quality funder reporting and relationship management.
Performance management, systems and compliance
• Manage income forecasting, budgeting and ROI tracking; set and monitor KPIs and provide clear reporting to CEO/Board.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM (or agreed system), ensuring GDPR compliance and strong data quality.
• Ensure fundraising activity aligns with relevant fundraising standards and ethical practice.
Leadership and organisational contribution
• Senior Leadership Team member: contribute to organisational planning, budgeting and risk management.
• Work collaboratively across operations and volunteering functions to ensure fundraising promises align with delivery capability and safeguarding requirements.
• Coach and support colleagues and volunteers who contribute to income generation activity.
• Other tasks as relevant / determined by the CEO.

The Senior Global Fundraising Manager will report to the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising (Executive Director), currently based in WaterAid UK. They will be an integral member of the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive, made up of senior colleagues from across the WaterAid federation.
The WaterAid Federation consists of the International Secretariat, 7 members - Canada, USA, UK, Sweden, India, Japan and Australia, 3 Regional hubs and 22 country programme offices.
About the role
This role will play a strategic part in driving income growth across the WaterAid federation by proactively collaborating and learning, and seeking opportunities to strengthen our collective action, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Critically they will play a lead role in developing a long-term global income plan, ensuring that we make the best collective decisions for organisational growth and impact, and ensuring that risk is managed globally. The role holder will work closely with the Executive Director who is the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising, in overseeing and driving action through the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive (GCFE) made up of communications and fundraising leaders across the federation; and leading key initiatives identified by this group.
In this role, you will;
- Lead the process for the development of a long-term global income generation plan/strategy which maps WaterAid’s growth trajectory, income stream balance, and required enablers and dependencies.
- Takes a lead role in global fundraising projects which address the enablers and dependencies identified in the plan for multiple markets. This could include identifying new approaches such as emergency fundraising; addressing processes and ways of working holding us back; driving efficiencies through centralised procurement.
- Lead on quarterly global performance monitoring and trend analysis – ensuring and supporting all members to provide a qualitative and quantitative overview which enables us to identify trends, opportunities and threats and act upon them. Reporting key findings to WaterAid International where required
- Monitor risk across the income portfolio and support senior fundraisers in managing and mitigating risk identified.
- Identify and coordinate/lead global income generation activities which require central management – including project management of key programmes of work.
- Ensure global engagement in key initiatives is relevant and easy, with low resource impact, for smaller members and Country Programmes (CPs).
- Support the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising with initiatives which drive global alignment, transparency and effectiveness.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Demonstrable experience in working on global initiatives with globally dispersed teams
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to drive integration and alignment.
- Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders from across a range of cultures, locations and backgrounds
- Experience of developing complex plans and strategies - monitoring and reporting against them
- Strong knowledge of fundraising practices and experience delivering fundraising campaigns (restricted or unrestricted income generation)
- Ability to analyse fundraising data and create narrative and actions from that to shape continuous improvement
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Knowledge of all fundraising streams – public fundraising, philanthropy and trusts, corporate and institutional
- Knowledge of different fundraising markets.
- Ability to flex working hours to ease time zone challenges

Last year Smart Works Leeds hit an important milestone when they supported over 1000 women with their coaching and dressing service. Over the next 12 months and beyond, there are plans to grow the service even further and ensure that all unemployed women located in Yorkshire are aware of the transformative service available to them at Smart Works.
The Fundraising and Partnership Lead will focus on the corporate and stakeholder partnership fundraising activity, supporting the Head of Fundraising to generate a six‑figure annual income portfolio. The role involves identifying, approaching and converting new corporate prospects into engaged funding partners aligned with the charity’s cause and objectives.
They will work with the Fundraising team and the Board of Trustees to deliver the fundraising strategy, activity plan and support the organisation’s long‑term sustainability.
