Job description

Help us turn data into meaningful change for children and families.

At HENRY, we believe every baby and child deserves a healthy and happy start in life. We work alongside parents, carers and professionals to build healthy habits, improve family wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. Through evidence-based programmes, training and community support, we help families develop the confidence, skills and knowledge they need to give children the very best start. As a values-led charity, we are driven by empathy, collaboration, respect and a commitment to using insight and evidence to create lasting impact.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Data and Impact Officer to join our Data and Impact team. This is a pivotal role for someone who is passionate about the power of data and evaluation to improve services, inform strategic decision-making and demonstrate meaningful outcomes.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help ensure that HENRY has robust, reliable and accessible data systems that support excellent service delivery and enable us to evidence the difference we make. You'll combine hands-on operational delivery with continuous improvement, helping to strengthen our monitoring, evaluation and learning approach while embedding a culture of evidence-led decision making throughout the charity.

What you'll be doing

As a key member of the team, you'll:

  • Lead on the management, quality assurance and ongoing improvement of HENRY's data systems and processes.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, measure outcomes and generate actionable insight.
  • Produce high-quality reports, dashboards and visualisations for commissioners, funders, senior leaders and operational teams.
  • Support the implementation and development of HENRY's Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, information governance requirements and data quality standards.
  • Provide evidence and impact data to support funding applications, tender submissions and commissioner reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to help them understand and utilise data to improve services and outcomes.
  • Contribute to impact reporting, organisational learning, research and continuous improvement activities.

About you

You'll be a highly organised and analytical professional with experience of managing, analysing and reporting data to support organisational performance or impact measurement. Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative information, you'll be able to translate complex findings into clear, compelling insights for a range of audiences.

Most importantly, you'll share our passion for improving outcomes for children and families and be motivated by the opportunity to use data and evidence to drive positive change.

Location: Primarily remote, with one day per month at our National Support Office in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, plus occasional travel.
Hours: Full-time (4 days per week may be considered).

Salary: £31,305.22

Interview date: Wednesday 19th August, virtual

Application deadline: Monday 17th August 2026, 9am

We apologise for the short turnaround between the application closing date and the interview date. This is due to unavoidable leave within the hiring team. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility, and we appreciate any efforts made to accommodate the interview schedule.

If you're excited by the opportunity to combine data, evaluation and insight with purpose-driven work that improves lives, we'd love to hear from you. Please click 'redirect to recruiter' to read more and apply today.
