During this stage, you will complete a practical activity and discuss your approach, thinking, and decisions with the interview panel. This assessment is designed to explore your prioritisation and judgement, organisation and planning skills, and written communication. We will also ask questions to understand how you approach challenges, make decisions, and work collaboratively with others.
Third Stage (Online)

The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a CRM Officer to support the CRM team in our London office.
Deadline: 9pm on Wednesday 2nd September 2026
Location: London
Salary: Starting salary £32,604 rising to £36,796, plus London weighting of £4,000
Hours: Full time (32 hours per week)
Contract type: This is a fixed term role for 12 months
This exciting role will support the CRM team with data processes in our Beacon CRM fundraising database, as we look to integrate and automate more of our systems and processes. High-quality data will enable us to develop stronger relationships with our supporters, retention and maximise lifetime value working in an agile way.
What does the role involve?
Why is this position on a fixed term contract?
Having this CRM Officer role in post for a year will support the ongoing business as usual data processes, whilst increasing capacity in the team to support efforts to increase the amount of automation of processes and integration between systems. This will ultimately reduce our reliance on manual data processes, reducing the volume of day to day data transfer, which should lead to a reduction of required capacity with the CRM team beyond the term of this contract.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
Safeguarding is Everyone’s business – Mental Health Foundation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its beneficiaries, those who surround them, its staff, volunteers, and anyone else who comes into contact with its services and expects all trustees, staff, and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to appropriate vetting procedures (proof of eligibility to work in the UK, proof of residency and satisfactory employment screening, including a Disclosure check and two most recent references) along with 3-year renewals of Disclosure checks. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this post, you must be able to demonstrate your eligibility to work in the UK.
How to apply
If you think your skills match and you’d like to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation, please complete and submit your application below. Please ensure you attach an up-to-date CV and statement of suitability answering all points of the person specification. Applications will close at 9pm on Wednesday 2nd September and we are unable to accept late applications. Interviews are planned for w/c 14th September.
We believe our people should represent the communities, organisations and individuals we work with. Diversity and inclusion is a strategic priority for us as an employer and mental health charity, and we are proud to be signatories of the Business in the Community Race at Work Charter and the Disability Confident Committed Scheme. This role leads two of the most consequential shifts in our 2026–2028 strategy. First, our move from a narrative-based to an evidence-based organisation: designing our impact measurement framework, leading the rollout and adoption of the Impact Hub (our custom CRM and data platform), and embedding data-driven decision-making across every team. Second, the community around our programmes: the trusted community and education referral partnerships that bring young people to us, and the structured alumni community that keeps them connected, supported and contributing after they complete our programmes.

Impact framework : the organisation's impact measurement framework, metrics and indicators.
The Impact Hub (CRM) : the platform, its roadmap, adoption and supplier relationship.
Data governance : data quality standards, validation protocols and UK GDPR compliance.
Evaluation methodology : how programmes and services are evaluated, including external evaluation partnerships.
Referral partnerships : the community and education referral partnership model and its members.
Alumni strategy : the alumni engagement model, tiered support structure and Advisory Council.
Organisational reporting : impact reporting to the board, funders and the public.

The Impact Hub ~ Lead the delivery, rollout and adoption of the Impact Hub, including migration from Upshot, in line with the phased plan in the Data & Digital strategy : and own its roadmap as the organisation's insight platform thereafter.
Stakeholder Engagement Framework (Governance) ~ Act as guardian of the unified stakeholder engagement framework, defining the standards, data capture requirements and reporting consistency that all teams apply across our five stakeholder groups.
Community & Education Partnerships (Referral Pipeline) ~ Design and deliver the structured referral partnership model set out in the Talent & Engagement strategy, piloting quarterly cohorts of university, faith-group and community-organisation partners with clear MOUs, shared objectives and referral tracking through the Impact Hub.
