ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting new role that will see the postholder leading EVAW’s strategic, influential campaigns work. The postholder will drive EVAW’s planned and reactive campaigning, advising the Director(s) and working closely with Heads of Communications, Policy and Research, Public Affairs and Membership functions within the organisation. The role is front-facing, requiring the postholder to confidently represent the organisation in high-level stakeholder spaces, as well as in the media. The postholder will lead on monitoring, evaluation and learning, ensuring the efficacy of our campaigns and interventions, as well as promoting internal learning and reflection. Using their strong campaigning nous/instinct the postholder will also be effective at adapting or amending campaigns and interventions when the external landscape shifts.
The postholder will have a finger on the pulse of current affairs and trends and be willing and able balance reactive and responsive work with delivering planned outputs and activities. You should be comfortable both working at pace, and with taking time to reflect and re-strategise.
You are likely to have experience in campaigns, working on VAWG or another human rights/equalities issue, and will be seeking an opportunity to work in a highly impactful, agile and dynamic feminist organisation.
Whether practical or academic, paid or voluntary, a background in VAWG will of course be an asset. You’ll need to show you have a good understanding of VAWG, can communicate complex issues with clarity and impact, and are committed to intersectional feminism. About the role:
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and conscientious qualified accountant to join a dynamic, high-impact team working to protect the global environment and defend human rights. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll lead the international finance team and provide financial insight and analysis to the CEO and Senior Management Team to support a fast-growing, ambitious charity.

Our client offers a range of quality, exciting and inclusive short break clubs and activities across Surrey and West Sussex for children and young people aged 5–17 with a disability and additional needs. They are now looking to recruit an Senior SEND Delivery Coordinator to oversee the delivery of high quality, stimulating, safe services for a range of children and young people in Leatherhead and Epsom.
As Senior Delivery Coordinator you will plan and deliver a structured programme of enjoyable, recreational, high-quality activities to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities who attend Short Breaks clubs. You will coordinate and take responsibility for the planning, allocation of places, and sufficient staffing to ensure safe delivery of Short Breaks clubs, and will assist in the recruitment, training and ongoing development of the Disability staff team. You will have responsibility for processing new referrals, initial assessments, individual care plans and any associated risk assessments or specialist plans to ensure individual needs are met.
This exciting and rewarding role will require a passion for working with SEND as well as excellent coordination skills to manage the delivery of high quality, stimulating, safe services. We are looking for an empathetic, dedicated Immigration Adviser and Community Outreach Assistant to improve respect for migrants’ human rights in Northern Ireland. In this role, you will provide immigration advice to migrants facing discrimination, harassment or other harms in Northern Ireland. You will also help RSI reach out to and learn from communities and local organisations.
RSI has an established immigration advice service for migrants in Northern Ireland who are most in need of urgent, free advice and casework.
You must either:
Already be qualified as an immigration adviser at Level 1 or higher via the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA), OR
Have experience with advice services or casework, and be willing to study for and sit the IAA Level 1 exam. (RSI will provide an appropriate amount of paid study time.)
If you are not IAA-qualified but have knowledge of UK immigration law, such as through coursework, please let us know. Qualified solicitors based in Northern Ireland are also welcome to apply.
Alongside advice and casework, this role includes outreach to a range of migrant communities in Northern Ireland, to understand their needs, support activism and inform people about advice services that are available.
The role:
2 days per week
£28,000 per annum pro rata
Hybrid working, including regular travel to Belfast to deliver in-person immigration clinics and facilitate outreach
Requirements:
You must have:
Current IAA authorisation, OR a willingness to work towards and take the IAA accreditation exams.
At least one year of experience in advice services or casework, OR knowledge of UK immigration law.
A demonstrable ability to work independently in a professional environment.
A demonstrable ability to communicate complex information in plain English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Comfort and confidence engaging in outreach with communities and local civil society organisations in Northern Ireland.
