The role

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an experienced and motivated Research Initiatives Manager to lead programmes that strengthen research capacity, capability and innovation across the paediatric workforce.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Research and Evidence team and play a leading role in shaping the future of child health research. Working closely with senior clinicians, including the Officer for Research and the Officer for Genomics, you will lead a portfolio of projects and initiatives designed to support paediatricians in developing academic skills, engaging in research and preparing for emerging developments in healthcare, including genomic medicine.

Reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will lead the delivery of  a range of research initiatives focused on building research capability across the profession and manage the RCPCH Genomics Programme. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical educator to join our expanding clinical professional development team working 30 hours per week.

We are looking for a proactive individual who is passionate about education, professional development and paediatric palliative care. You will have experience in clinical education, running high-quality training programmes for clinical staff, and in overseeing student placements.  

We are widening our student nursing placement offer and the post holder will take a lead role in the development, coordination and quality assurance of our student placements. The successful candidate will also oversee the further development of our Paediatric Palliative Care Foundation Course. Having established a strong internal programme, we are looking for an inspiring educator who can help shape the next phase of its growth, extending opportunities for learning to both internal colleagues and external healthcare professionals.

Purpose of the Role

The Head of Centre will provide strategic and operational leadership for Equal Education Academy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, inclusive, and trauma-informed online provision. Serving as the Academy’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), the postholder will embed safeguarding, inclusion, and wellbeing into all organisational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Sundial Centre for Education on Harmful Practices (“Sundial” previously called Oxford Against Cutting) delivers high quality education and training on harmful practices, such as female genital mutilation (FGM), ‘honour’-based abuse (HBA) and online harms. We offer safeguarding training for teams of professionals such as teachers, police and social workers. We also deliver lessons in schools, as well as workshops for community groups. About the Role

Rough sleeping pathways only work when the system around people moves with urgency, consistency and accountability. This role is about making sure people sleeping rough, or at risk of returning to the streets, are not left waiting, drifting between services, or losing accommodation because barriers have not been gripped quickly enough.

As Outreach Housing Pathway Coordinator, you will work within Camden’s integrated Rough Sleeping and Outreach Hub to help people access and sustain appropriate accommodation. You will hold oversight of where people are in their housing journey, identify what is blocking progress, and work with outreach teams, Navigators, hostels, pathway providers, community safety partners and statutory services to keep plans moving.

You will focus on the points where pathways can break down: delays, exclusions, unsuitable offers, unresolved risks, street activity linked to accommodation, or support needs that have not yet been fully understood or responded to. Through assertive engagement, practical case coordination and strong partnership working, you will help people stabilise their accommodation and reduce the risk of returning to rough sleeping.

Working within Camden’s No Wrong Door model, you will bring grip, judgement and persistence to complex situations, ensuring people experiencing multiple disadvantage receive a response that is joined-up, trauma-informed and focused on lasting routes away from the street. SHP will support you with the training, reflective practice and development opportunities needed to continue building your expertise in this work.

As a Coach Lead Worker (Landlord Liaison) you will join our team in Birmingham at an exciting time. You will be managing a caseload of homeless members and providing advice, guidance and advocacy as well as delivering an outstanding property procurement service across the private rented sector. In addition, it’s a role requiring commercial acumen and creativity as you partner with private landlords to source accommodation for our members. You will work collaboratively with partners and staff across the organisation to ensure tenants receive the support they need to sustain their homes and landlord relationships are nurtured.
